I went up and we went out and had something to eat and so on. It was a

delight to be with.

All the women in my films are, well, are they strong? I question the whole thing.

I like the whole idea that the women are giving.

going to have somebody that's going to be aggressive.

They like that thing, as far as I was concerned. The aggressiveness of the

women that I used in my films. The women that could really kick the hell out of a

guy. And it was something that he deserved.

I would say my favorite film is Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. It was an

opportunity for me to get into the majors and do the kind of film that I

wanted to do.

I had a great associate, and that's Roger Ebert. He's into the same thing as

I is, and that's exactly really tits. He loves tits. I love tits.

Without him, we wouldn't have been able to come up with something that had what

we did come up with in the film.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Recently, I showed the film in a

rainstorm in Florida, and we had an enormous collection of women to come to

see the picture, and that's gratifying, that when you have a film that's largely

constructed of attractive ladies, and then you find a whole bunch of ladies

that want to just come in there and sit down and enjoy the picture because of

the content.

Glamour. Yes, glamour.

Or Charles Albury would have said glamour.

I don't like the term.

I'd rather think in terms of how a girl was set up and constructed.

The word glamorous seems to be an old, old term. I don't care for it myself.

No, I'd much rather say that this girl's built like a brick shithouse. It would

do a lot more for me.

I just like the whole idea of what's happened in my past.

I've had the fortune of meeting some wonderful ladies and married some of

them and lived with them.

I can only think highly of them, for that matter. I just want to keep doing

and making movies and make them funny. I think the whole idea is coming out with

things that are amusing to put on, send up.
