The one and only President Wen is back.

Congratulations.

Who would have thought?

Just three months ago,

you were half-dead in a hospital bed,

and now you're the president of Wen Group.

And getting married too.

It's only been three months,

and you're getting married again.

Mr. Alex is really something.

He managed to help my daughter move on

from her last relationship so quickly.

The boss of Cloudsea truly lives up to his reputation.

Shouldn't I be thanking you, Mom?

You helped me get rid of the trash,

so I could make room

for the right person.

On such a happy day,

let me give you a gift too.

Did you know?

Jiang Yu is the son of

your husband's first love

After all the twists and turns,

her son and I ended up together.

I am scared that one day, after all those twists and turns,

Dad will end up with his first love again.

[Dearest: Episode 9]

Dad.

You're here.

I never thought that Alex,

the person I had been

trying so hard to meet,

would turn out to be my biological son.

Dad.

You've been away for too long.

You don't know me,

and I can understand that.

You understand?

You've made me a laughingstock in the entire business world.

Do you know how many years it took me

to establish myself in Wen Group?

And now look what's happened.

Not only have I lost my seat on the board,

but that old man Wen Yanhui

even wants to throw me out.

I've worked so hard for so many years,

and you ruined it all.

I accepted you because we share the same blood.

I treated you as my own son,

but you teamed up with that wench Wen Jianan

to humiliate me.

Dad.

Everything I did was for you.

I am your biological son.

If I marry the Wen family's granddaughter,

wouldn't that make the Wen family part of the He family?

Don't be anxious.

The Xingji project

was my offering to Wen Yanhui, a show of good faith.

If I had told you in advance,

could you have played your part well?

Wouldn't Wen Yanhui have seen through it?

Is that really what you think?

Does it hurt?

No.

Dad,

if I ever do anything wrong,

you can always set me straight.

Don't blame me.

I was just acting on impulse.

I only understand your good intentions now.

Are you willing to join hands with me

to take down the Wen family?

Congratulations on your marriage.

I'll wait for your good news.

Get some men ready for me.

I will turn their wedding

into their funeral.

Jiang Yu, you are my own flesh and blood,

yet you want me dead.

Then don't blame me for sending you to your grave.

Have someone keep a close eye on He Mu.

I want to know his every move.

Yes, Boss.

I'll arrange it right away.

Mrs. Wen, this is my car,

not a taxi.

Isn't Cloudsea supposed to offer top-notch service?

Then surely driving a guest home is only to be expected.

Besides,

I'm your fiancée's mother.

You are Jiang Yuqing's son.

So you are only with Wen Jianan

to get revenge on her, aren't you?

I can help you.

Mrs. Wen.

You know the relationship between my mother and He Mu.

Wouldn't you want to kill me even more?

Before that,

of course I also want to

cooperate with you.

Stop the car.

I don't like being someone else's pawn.

Mind your own business.

I made this myself using Icelandic volcanic stone.

There are only two in the world.

Why does Alex have this ring?

Could he be involved in Chenghan's death?

It's been 45 days.

The baby is very healthy.

Honey.

Look, is that his head?

Why can't I see it?

It's right there.

Is it there?

Yes.

Who are you? Get out.

Pull yourself together.

You have to live on for him.

I will love you in his place.

He Mu just beat me up today.

He went to see you?

Are you okay?

So you do care about me.

Of course.

We are partners, aren't we?

What happens to our plan

if something happens to you?

Besides,

nice abs.

Don't worry.

Everything is going according to plan.

The look He Mu gives me is already filled with murderous intent.

I know people in the underworld. So does he.

He is planning to strike at the wedding.

Looks like our plan worked.

We could never find

evidence of his previous murders,

so we had to use ourselves as bait,

force him to kill again, and create new evidence

to completely bring him down.

Avenging my mother is my business.

Are you sure you want to get involved?

If you want to quit now,

I won't stop you.

Don't talk. Kiss me.

As for your question just now,

this is the answer.

I think

we are in the same boat now.
