may be hidden inside the
school, possibly Z's office.

And he's checking it out this weekend.

fishing this weekend.

an hour ago.

- When was the last time
Vaughn's dad took him fishing?

- Look, I'm just not ready to go there

about Vaughn, alright.

Lucas, the kitchen isn't on
the other side of this door,

it appears possible

that Blake Holsey High may
have become a tesseract.

- A what?

- A tesseract.

A four dimensional cube.

space does that cube have?

- Three. Length, width, and height.

- Good, a three dimensional
cube can be unfolded

into two dimensions,
which means it's flat.

A four dimensional cube or a tesseract

can be unfolded into three dimensions,

which would look something like this.

Now, imagine that this
model is the school.

Top floor, main floor, basement.

Now, just like that can
be folded up into a cube,

this can be folded up into a tesseract.

- [Lucas] Whoa.

- Something must have happened
to cause Blake Holsey High

to start folding up.

That's why the rooms are moving.

- How can the school
fold up without breaking?

- Well, in three dimensions it can't.

But add a fourth dimension,

which although not perceptible
to us is out there.

And mathematically, it's
a very simple matter

as the computer model demonstrates.

- If you're right and
the school is folding up

in four dimensions, what happens
to us if we can't stop it?

- Imagine being trapped

in a hyper dimensional trash compactor.

- That doesn't sound good.

and then the vortex opened.

- A pulse, and then the vortex.

(birds chirping)

- How did we get outside?

And in the daytime?

- This isn't to be totally
unexpected in a tesseract.

The school's folding in on itself in time

as well as three dimensional space.

At least we're outside

- But the device is inside.

How do we get back in to get it?

- Calculating the four
dimensional mathematics

required to answer that question

requires some serious computing power

and the computer's inside.

If there's a problem that has to do

with hyper dimensional math,

and they're occurring with
increasing regularity.

- So you thought it'd be fun
to suck me into your tesseract?

which afterward then
reconnected to the hallway.

- So the effect is centered
around the teacher's lounge.

connected to the kitchen.

- But only for a moment because after that

my room led right into the science room.

- Then when we tried to
go back into my office

it led us outside.

- Which is where I called you,

but then we heard you screaming.

- We ran back inside and
came out of Durst's office.

- Into the hallway.

tesseract folds on itself.

- What choice do we have?

- There is the mathematical possibility

that this air duct now will
connect to a different galaxy,

millions of light years from here.

- Then you should stay behind.

might unfold it again.
