in my trailer here on the ranch

while they got everything set up.

I'm not feeling that good.

I don't want to make y'all sick, but I also,

I didn't want to miss out
on this amazing experiment

we got planned for tonight.

Well, I don't think we'd be doing it

without your involvement, Travis.

You know, this is
one of those experiments

that we've been anticipating
for quite some time,

because more recently,
we've seen the potential

for magnetic anomalies
high above the triangle.

Yes. Yep, absolutely.

- Drones are up.
- Several weeks ago,

Sky Elements flew a swarm
of 100 drones at the triangle

up to the legal maximum altitude
of 1,000 feet.

And between 750
and that 1,000-foot level,

a huge electromagnetic anomaly
of some kind

made the drones go haywire
and spin out of control.

What's even more strange
is that this thing is also

right at the center of the bubble,

which we believe has a maximum
height of about 2,000 feet.

Now, we want to see
if this electromagnetic anomaly

might extend even higher
than 1,000 feet.

Other experiments in the past suggested

that there could be additional
electromagnetic anomalies

as high as 3,500 feet.

So, Sky Elements has gone out
of their way to help us scan

not only inside the bubble
but much higher above it.

Could you go through the launch plan?

Yeah, so we got
a ten-by-ten grid: 100 drones,

about five feet in between each drone.

They're all gonna take off at once,

kind of traverse over to the triangle.

We're hoping to go
much higher this time,

go up to the 4,000-foot range.

That's the highest any drone swarm

has ever had legal clearance to fly.

Not just on Skinwalker Ranch.

We're talking the entire United States.

I understand you're gonna take position

over in the east field.
You'll be running two,

Spectrum analyzers o-out of the Jeep?

Yeah, Erik, I'll have, two antennas

looking directly at the triangle.

Sounds good.

I hate that I can't be
out there at the triangle

with you guys, but you don't
want what I've got.

It's not any fun.

There's a lot of setup
that we need to do, so,

- I say we get started.

It's not like I'm bedridden,

so I want to help with the experiment

from a safe distance.

As the swarm flies up through the 750-

to 1,000-foot region and higher,
I'll be in the east field,

outside the bubble,
monitoring a spectrum analyzer

with antennas pointed
toward the triangle.

That way, I can look out for any
strange radio frequency signals

like we've detected in the past.

This could be a perfect opportunity

to figure out where
these signals are coming from.

- Hey, guys.
- What's up, gentlemen?

Erik and the others
will be watching their own

radio antennas at the triangle.

Also, several high-speed cameras
are set up around the ranch

to record the drone swarm

and look for any unusual behavior

or deviations in
its preprogrammed flight path.

The drones have onboard
magnetometers and GPS devices

to identify any more
electromagnetic energy

which coordinate
from a Wi-Fi access point

set up here on the ground.

It not only controls the swarm

but also allows us to monitor
flight data in real time.

What are you gonna do first?

Yeah, we're gonna run
two or three tests here.

It's the first time we've ever been

to 4,000 feet in altitude,

so we're gonna see how everything

is communicating well
and make sure we've got good

Drones are up.

his camera-equipped FPV drone
with the swarm

to closely monitor it for anything strange

all the way up to 4,000 feet.

- Yep, that's 500 feet.

Now, this is a good test for the FPV, too,

because the last two times
that Sky Elements

has been out here this year,

something made that drone
crash inside the bubble.

Should be about 800 feet now.

We're at 800 feet now.

Well, now, what do we got here?

Right there, I just got a huge spike

at 1.6 gigahertz bouncing up and down.

Really?

We lost communication.

- Lost communications?
- Lost communication.

So, at the same time
he calls out that 1.6,

- you guys lose your communication?
- Yeah.

This 1.6-gigahertz signal is exactly

what I wanted to look for,

because it could be
a communication signal.

But it's interesting that it showed up

right as the drones were
losing communication

and passing through the 800-foot mark

where we know that magnetic field is.

Could that mean
it's coming from that anomaly?

1,000 feet.

I'm reconnecting. So, right when

they passed through 1,000,
they reconnected.

So, that put them right in that 750

to 1,000-foot magnetic zone.

Correct. Which is where
we saw anomalies before

- in the data.
- Okay.

Well, how about that?

This test flight might have proven

that the electromagnetic anomaly
occupies a defined space

between 750 and 1,000 feet.

So, what in the heck is it?
And are there more even higher?

- All right, we're at 1,500 feet.
- Correct.

The 1.6 signal,

it went back down.

Yeah, copy that.

So, they're at 2,500.

- Whoa, whoa.

It's like something took
my drone and just, like,

threw it back 100 feet.

Brian is reporting some unusual behavior

physically interacted with.

Whatever's going on with the drone

is not coming from the controller.

So, what could be going on
in that space over the triangle?

The drones look like

they're going at different elevations.

I see all four down.

They're all down, they're all down.

Is everybody okay? It looks like they hit

right on top of you.

Drones are on the ground,
Travis, everybody's okay.

It was strange enough when the drones

had communication issues
between 750 and 1,000 feet.

But what in the heck did they fly up into

above 3,000 feet that made them lose

all power and drop dead out of the sky?

Was it an even higher concentration

of electromagnetic energy?

And if so, what's causing it?

Do you still have control of the FPV?

Yeah, FPV, I do.

That was so scary.

I see all four down.

We need to find the drones.

We need to go find them
and recover them.

that the FPV drone,

which has dropped dead
at much lower altitudes

in recent experiments,

wasn't affected
like the other four drones.

Maybe it was just far enough away

- from whatever hit them.

We had our fingers crossed

that the drones were intact

and had retrievable data

that might tell us more
about what affected them.

The drones
we've checked so far disarmed

at the same altitude...

which was at 3,271 feet.

As if something disarmed the drones.

You mean, like,
they just shut themselves off?

Yes.

So, did something...

tamper with the flight?

It appears that way.

They were able to pull the logs.

It looks like something told the drones

to deactivate at 3,271 feet.

Now, interestingly enough,

that was not programmed into the files.

Okay. If it wasn't part of the program,

then where did
that command come from?

This is really,

an unexpected and, I think,

disturbing sequence of events.

The guys are describing what happened

as if a kill command was sent

to the four drones, causing them
to fall out of the sky.

Maybe we need to try four more

and see if we can get
above that 3,000-foot mark.

that raises the question of
where such a command

would have originated from

some 3,200 feet in the airspace
above Skinwalker Ranch,

if that is, in fact, what happened.

doing another test of four?

- To the 4,000 to kind of see if we can

get better results this time, but obviously,

with what we just saw, we need
to make sure everybody's safe,

After what we saw on our first test,

we were all on high alert
as the second swarm flew up

to that 3,200-foot level.

If there really was something up there

dropping our drones dead out of the sky,

hopefully, this time,

the FPV drone would catch it on camera.

they are approaching that 3,000.

When it turns yellow, it will be
at that 3,000-foot mark.

- 3,000. -3,000.

They just started blinking.

- What was that about?

- Yeah, we got them.

Are they controlled?

They're flying that way.

And one's hovering.

They're coming down
towards you, Travis.

Three, I got three of them.

- We have eyes on...
- All four are down.

They are all on the ground.

Dang. That was crazy.

Again, it's as if
a kill command was issued

to those four drones, causing
them to plummet from the sky.

That doesn't really make sense to me.

What this tells me is that we found

another phenomenon
high above the triangle.

We have drones.

Obviously, we're gonna
have to pull the logs

to know what happened, right?

- Yeah.
- Yeah, absolutely.

From my perspective,
looking at the console,

it seemed to be right around
the same altitude

that they disarmed again.

I mean, for lack of
a better term, it's almost like

somebody slapped the drones
out of the sky,

right when they crossed the 3,271 feet.

Yeah. We don't know
what we're dealing with here.

There's no way
we're getting a hundred drones

- up tonight.
- For sure.

I say we just, we call it.

Travis, I hate to make the call,

- but we're gonna pull the plug on this.

We hate to table an experiment like this,

but after what we saw happen
with just eight drones,

we didn't want to push our luck
with 100 all at once.

But hopefully, we got
something in the data

from these test flights
and our high-speed cameras

that can help us figure out
what the heck happened tonight.

Better than some of the drones...

After taking a couple of days to recover,

I was finally feeling back to normal,

and it gave Erik the time
he needed to process

and analyze all the video we captured

during our drone test flights.

I'll start with high-speed video

captured when we sort of see
drones fall out of the sky.

If you remember, just
moments before the drones fell,

there were problems
with that FPV drone.

Brian yelled, "Hey,
something just pushed my drone,"

and you, you remember that?

- Yeah.
- And it looked like his drone,

like, moved.

I mean, it literally looked like something

grabbed it and threw it.

Now, I caught that moment
in Meta-Frame.

Let me bring that up.

So, what we're looking at here
is a sky-facing camera.

We're actually looking up
through one of our antennas

at the triangle.

We're looking at these lights.

We're looking at the four drones.

And this is the FPV drone

just before that push that you described.

So, we're looking up at the apex.

And here's the push.

Wow.

What did that?

What the heck could
affect the drone like that?

It literally looked like
something just grabbed

the FPV drone and threw it.

- Right.
- It was within seconds

- that they fell out of the sky after that.
- Right?

The enhanced surveillance video

clearly shows the FPV drone moving

like it's been pushed by
something invisible in midair.

But what the heck could have
done that over 3,000 feet high

above the triangle?

Could it be connected
to whatever caused

the other drones to fall
out of the sky right after that?

- Now that's crazy.
- Yeah.

Let's look at the moment
the drones fell out of the sky.

I want to show you a different video

looking straight up
from near the command center.

This is really zoomed in.

This is a great view of the four
drones and the FPV drone

there in the upper right.

I'll just play through it.

- Look at the flash.
- Now, look. Did you see them?

- Look. Look at that.
- What the...?

It looks like they're moving sideways first.

Then they take off super fast.

- And then they just slow down.
- Look.

- Now they're coming down.
- Look,

it's tumbling. One's tumbling.

What the heck?

Kind of matches what Brian said

about the FPV drone
suddenly going, like, 100 feet.

- Like they got pushed.
- Like something pushed him

o-out of the way,
like 100 foot in one direction.

Did they all get pushed

- just the same way as his?
- The same...

- whatever that phenomenon is.
- We'll have to factor that

- and see.
- Yeah.

If these drones were just turned off

by some kill command,

we'd have expected to see them
fall straight down.

But instead, they look like

they veer off to the south
and then drop straight down.

What's really curious
is how the FPV drone,

which only has a camera,

was pushed away from that area,
but the other drones,

which have magnetometers
for identifying

electromagnetic energy,
were overridden by something.

It's almost like they were shut off

to stop them from collecting
data at that 3,200-foot mark.

It sounds nuts,

but could that be what really happened?

And if so, what's up there?

Do we have a different angle
of the same moment

- that we can that compare it to?
- Sure.

Now, what we're looking at here,

this camera is positioned
south of the triangle,

angled up at that airspace.

Four drones go up.

It only looks like one

because they're so close together.

Wow, look at that.

Let's take a look at that again.

- Now, did you, did you notice...

yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

right by them.

What was that flash?

But what the hell is it?

We get this blink,
the drones get to the spot...

then the drones fall.

Wow.

That's so odd, man.

be what caused the drones
to drop out of the sky?

If so, what the heck is it?

And where did it come from?

You know, this is
another case of an experiment

that did not go at all the way
we had hoped and planned,

but we did get

- important insights here.

and figure out what it is.

Look, we've been
talking about a lot of ways

to study the space, you know,
right there above the triangle.

One of the discussions
we've been having

for-for years now

is how could we bring Doppler radar

to scan these high altitudes.

That'd be interesting to look at.

Would it pick up objects
that we're not seeing

- with our, naked eye, right?
- Yeah.

So, it might help us figure out

what's up there where those drones fell?

That's exactly right.

I say we find a way to make it happen.

to come out to the ranch.

Really exciting for us.

And I'd like to have you walk us through

you know, what you guys do
and, what kind of equipment

you're using and how it all works.

We're all meteorology researchers.

We operate a fleet
of mobile weather radars.

That's why they're
called "Doppler on Wheels."

I mean, I always think
radars are, you know,

like flashlights
going through the atmosphere.

You know, you're sending out pulses

of electromagnetic energy,

and you're looking
at the return, the power

- that's coming back to you.
- Okay.

So, it's-it's a weather radar.

We're usually using it for weather.

We built these for tornadoes, hurricanes,

other types of phenomena.

- To detect water, right?
- Yes.

We're making maps, basically.

I think it'd be a good idea to sort of

back up and give some context
to what we want to do here.

We are interested
in imaging a region of space

that sits right over this feature here

that we've been calling the "triangle."

Right, but instead
of using water droplets to see,

we'll be using aluminum bottles.

To study weather systems,

Doppler radar works
by sending out microwaves

that bounce off raindrops in the air

and then return to a radar dish.

This helps to spot
and track storm clouds,

tornadoes, you name it,
in the environment.

So, tonight, we're going to adapt

this tech for our investigation

to hopefully see strange things
inside and above the bubble.

Since there's no rain in the forecast

for the next couple of days,
we're gonna drop

hundreds of GPS-equipped
aluminum bottles

with parachutes from the helicopter.

As those bottles descend down,

we'll be able to track
their movements on radar

and also look for anything else
around them

that might be invisible to the naked eye,

like whatever shut off those drones

over 3,000 feet in the air.

We want to do this experiment
during daylight hours

for best visibility.

So, since the team
wasn't able to get here

until the late afternoon,

we'll run the main experiment tomorrow.

But we still have time to run a test.

So, we're gonna
fire rockets to make sure

the Doppler radar can image them

and potentially reveal
any possible anomalies

above the ranch.

This is right up our alley,

trying to observe something new
and-and different like this.

That's very encouraging.

You know, phase one
of this effort is really...

we want to see if our Doppler
radar can pick up a rocket.

That way, we can test to see
how well the radar works

before we drop all these bottles.

That will kind of give us a baseline.

- So, instead of us

talking about the experiment
we're gonna do, I say

- we get out there and let's do the experiment.

To begin the test phase
of our experiment,

I set up in the east field

with the mobile Doppler radar team

so they could run scans
back toward the triangle.

We want to make sure we'll be able

to capture images of the rockets

and maybe see if the Doppler can reveal

anything else in that area
above the ranch.

from the triangle,

This red and yellow streak indicates

an object moving at a high rate of speed.

- That may be the rocket.
- That might be your guy.

Yeah, we saw the rocket on the radar.

That yellow streak shows
there's something else

moving at a high rate of speed.

What is that?

- Can you click on that?

Yeah, it's definitely moving.

That's not the rocket. What the crap?

Not five seconds after
the rocket was launched,

some kind of big, elongated object

appeared on the radar screen

that looked like it was flying

through the air and toward the triangle.

That's what, about 600 feet high?

Yeah.

It looked to be inside the bubble.

But where did it come from?

Was it related
to the electromagnetic zone

we've recently detected
between 750 and 1,000 feet?

That's-that's steadily moving,
whatever that is.

- It's going that way.
- Yeah. - Yeah.

Kaleb, look up.

We have a large object
at about 600 feet high

from the west moving to the east.

What?

There's nothing there.

Now it's getting closer to the triangle.

There's some kind of object
over the triangle

that's pretty large in the radar.

- You guys seeing anything?
- No. -No.

We are not seeing anything

from our location.

- Boy, it's there, clearly. Look at that.
- Yeah.

Well, it looks to be potentially gone now.

Travis, are you still seeing it there?

'Cause we're not seeing anything.

We're not seeing it now, guys.

We're gonna change
the angle of the radar

to try to see if it's still there.

Pete, Kaleb and I couldn't see

anything with the naked eye

that could account for this object

that they're seeing in the Doppler radar.

Travis reports that the object
they were seeing

in the Doppler radar
was no longer appearing.

So, they're going to move the radar angle

to see if the object
maybe moved upwards.

This was in hopes that the radar truck

could catch that object again
and hopefully

help us verify the accuracy
of the data that we are getting.

- Look at that guy.
- Yeah.

- There.
- There it is.

Yeah, that is something.

That is right on the bubble boundary.

Still there.

Look towards the posts we have
marking the western side

of the bubble boundary,
around post number nine or ten.

Right now, there's some sort
of anomaly right over that post,

at 500 feet high.

- There's nothing there.
- No.

There's not even birds.

We're just not seeing anything, Travis.

That's crazy.

That's right over the triangle.
Now we're seeing

an anomaly right over the triangle, guys.

You're picking up on things

that none of our other assets can see.

It was cigar-shaped and fairly large.

I would guess the size
of a jet plane or a blimp.

Now I don't see it.

We're not seeing it now, but there was

a clear object that came from the west,

flew over the triangle, and it was large.

But where did it go?

Again, could the answer be connected

to that electromagnetic zone
above the triangle

and in the heart of the bubble?

Especially since
it disappeared in the same area.

All I can say is that was a hell of a test.

Everybody be advised,

whatever that was, we're not seeing

anything anymore on the radar.

We're shutting the radar
down now, and they're gonna

get it ready for, tomorrow's use.

from Cameron Fugal's helicopter

might reveal.

100 aluminum bottles

containing GPS devices
down through that same airspace.

- The bottles

will be deployed with parachutes
so the Doppler radar

can easily track them as they descend.

Everything is secure,
we've done the preflight.

Everything's great on the helicopter.

I think we're ready to do this, guys.

Hopefully, all these bottles

will not only collect data

but help us get an even better look

at any UAPs like we saw yesterday

as they pass through
that 750 to 1,000-foot-high

electromagnetic anomaly zone.

the top boundary of the bubble.

On a day like today,

we're expecting these bottles to drop

more or less straight down.

they're being pushed away

by the bubble boundary,

which is something
that keeps happening

to our instruments
during the experiments.

All right, we're at 2,500 feet.

We're about to turn back to the east.

from the bottles being
tossed out of the helicopter

whenever we try to collect data

So, we'll wait to collect the data

until after the experiment.

that they were stopped

of the bubble barrier and

After what we saw yesterday,

we were so pumped
to get a much better look

in the bubble today with these bottles.

It's like there's something in there

that the ranch doesn't want us to see.

Well, I think it's fascinating,

we have yet to get a single bottle

that has come down in the triangle.

The only ones that we've even seen

- landed up over there near the bubble boundary.

I'm-I'm a little surprised at it.

Kaleb, Thomas, as far as I can tell,

all the bottles are probably
on the ground by now.

That's what Thomas and I were

out of that helicopter,

and not one of them has landed
anywhere near the triangle.
