But Jay was the one that Logan said

might be even better than he was.

And what happened to Jay?

He was killed in some accident...

I don't know... like six years ago.

Cops never figured out what happened.

Did Logan ever talk
about Jay's death at the time?

Anything out of the ordinary?

No.

I mean, it was the first time
that somebody that he knew died,

so he... he took it hard.

Jay Dixon, age 12.

He died April 27, 2008.

Coroner ruled the death a homicide.

It was never solved.

What happened?

C.O.D. was blunt-force trauma
to the head,

and his body was found
at a construction site.

Any leads on who did it?

No. There were no witnesses,
no suspects.

All in all, it wasn't
much of an investigation.

12-year-old gets killed,

and no one cares enough
to find his murderer.

Logan did.

Finding justice for Jay

seems to be the very reason
he came to New York.

But why now, six years later?

And why did Logan think
he was running out of time?

And what's the connection
to Zaretsky or his law firm?

and there's no wrongful-death

And he was rubbing it in D.K.'s face.

By the time we could pull him off...

And the whole thing was caught on tape.
