such extensive scars?

- Adam's born with a stub

where his right ear
was meant to be.

A succession of surgeons

came to the castle over the
first few years of his life

attempting to find it.

- The scars, then,

weren't the result
of an accident?

- They were
attempting to "fix" him.

But, in the end,
he still has no ear,

his hearing is still a
little muffled on that side,

and he's been left scarred

in more ways than one.

(Harry coughing)

- You need to rest.

- I'm fine.

- And I won't keep you from it.
