I can see ghosts.

No matter what happens,

I'll protect you.

What happened to him?

Your father seems to have been murdered.

You murdered Bong Pal's mother...

and now his father?

You've seen him before?

It was five years ago at a temple.

He gave me something and asked for a favour.

He told me not to show it to anyone.

That's something very important to Bong Pal.

I'm moving away tomorrow.

I'll come back soon.

Please wait for me.

You don't look very well.

Have some tea.

(Previously)

Monk Myung Cheol.

(Episode 15)

Did you...

know about it?

What are you talking about?

The detective came by...

and asked me about Professor Ju Hye Sung.

He said...

the professor might be related...

to Father's death.

Bong Pal.

Professor Ju Hye Sung isn't a human.

To be precise,

a non-human is inside Professor Ju Hye Sung.

An evil ghost.

It's the same evil spirit that escaped from you.

What's wrong?

It's nothing.

I'm just a little dizzy.

I need to go to the bathroom.

That ghost is wandering around you and Hyun Ji.

Hyun Ji?

She has what the ghost wants.

What is it?

The ritual tools.

The ritual tools that was used to take that ghost away from you.

Do you remember it?

The tools...

- are broken now. - They were.

Your mother was worried about you,

so she made another one.

Bong Pal. Your mother had great spiritual power.

Many shamans couldn't match her strength.

- Was she? - Yes.

Some said that she was lucky, but she was not.

Because she decided not to accept any spirits.

Why not?

She was pregnant with you.

She wanted to raise you like an ordinary child.

Many spirits were angry...

and the evil ghost was one of them.

The ghost which was denied by her...

It tried to get inside me.

Yes.

Everything began since then.

We managed to take it out from you somehow,

but she was worried that ghost may harass you again.

That's why she spent all of her energy...

and made another ritual tools.

Did she?

Then how come Hyun Ji has the ritual tools?

When your father reclaimed the tools from the temple...

Hyun Ji was visiting the temple.

Your father was being chased by the ghost at that time.

So your father asked Hyun Ji to deliver the tools to you...

and she was hit by a car on her way.

The tools got lost again,

so the evil ghost began chasing after your father once again.

My mother, my father and Hyun Ji...

It's all because of me.

No, Bong Pal. It's not because of you.

It's all because of the evil ghost.

Where are you going?

I need to see Hyun Ji.

(My Love Bong Pal)

The number you're calling is not available...

Hyun Ji.

Are you all right?

Hey.

Where is the thing?

Hey.

Why did you...

You've got your memory back.

I told you it's better to bury all the bad memories.

Excuse me.

Why are you here?

- Is Hyun Ji here? - She's not home.

She went out to meet you. Didn't she?

She isn't home, yet?

What happened?

No, nothing.

Hey.

(Star Animal Clinic)

Gosh.

- No, it's not him. - My goodness.

It wasn't him.

Why are you slow? You're really careless.

You should know the basics of staking out.

Is this necessary?

We are not detectives. Are we?

The monk asked us to keep an eye on Professor Ju, right?

Since when did you follow anyone's order?

I've noticed that...

you never think about what's coming next.

We need his permission to work with Bong Pal.

Why would he ask us a favour?

It's all because Professor Ju is dangerous to Bong Pal.

If the monk didn't trust us,

he wouldn't have asked in the first place.

- I see. - I see?

Yes. I got it.

Isn't it him?

He is. Isn't he?

He's loading something into his car.

Let's follow him.

Let's go.

Hyun Ji.

Hyun Ji.

That must be the case.

So it happened 30 minutes before the alarm went on.

We began inspecting the areas nearby.

We will be able to catch him soon.

Don't worry too much.

Go home. We'll call you if anything happens.

Bong Pal.

Hello.

What's going on?

The ghost...

took Hyun Ji.

Oh my.

Avalokitesvara.

Oh my gosh.

Is Kim Hyun Ji your daughter?

She is missing.

- Ma'am. - Are you all right?

Are you okay?

Detective Yang.

Have you contacted the staff members?

Yes. It seems to be all planned.

They got their days off two days ago.

They didn't know anything about Professor Ju, either.

Because his phone is turned off,

we can't track him down. What should we do?

Compare the DNA of Park Ji Hoon's murderer with Professor Ju's DNA.

Put out an all-points bulletin for his car. He can't have gone far.

Okay.

Is anyone at Professor Ju's mother's place?

The station nearby offered help.

They must be there by now.

Hey, move quietly.

(Parking Lot)

Wait.

What is he doing?

I have no idea.

He does seem suspicious.

He came all the way here...

this late at night to switch cars.

There's always something fishy about good-looking ones.

He's taking something out.

That's Hyun Ji!

What are you doing there?

It's nothing.

Is this your car?

Yes. Why?

This car has been parked here for two days...

without leaving any contact number. Pull it away right now.

I got in so much trouble because of this car.

- Can you leave now? - Pull it away right now.

- Gosh. - Excuse me.

Yes?

I told you to leave.

Start the car.

What are you doing?

This piece of junk.

Bong Pal, don't worry too much.

He can't hurt Hyun Ji until he finds the ritual tools.

Why is he...

so obsessed with the ritual tools?

He has to get rid of them to completely take you over.

Take me over?

You inherited your mother's energy.

That's why he's been lingering around you for 10 years.

Hi, In Rang.

What?

Where?

Okay.

Detective Yang.

That camera isn't working.

It's been broken for a long time.

The students couldn't see the plate number clearly.

It won't be easy to track it down.

If he planned all this,

he probably planned where to hide, too.

Check his call history...

and analyse all security camera footage.

Okay.

Bong Pal.

Let's go home.

You should go home, too.

- Okay. - Okay.

- Bong Pal. - You can go home.

What about you?

I should find Hyun Ji.

How are you going to find her?

I can't just sit back and watch.

He's after you.

You're in danger.

What about Hyun Ji?

I'll look for her.

This happened because of me.

- I should do something. - Bong Pal.

We'll...

stay with Bong Pal.

Don't worry.

(Ju Hye Sung, Kim Min Su)

(Park Ji Hoon, Kim Hyun Ji)

Detective Yang.

Did you find anything?

I checked the security camera footage...

and found cars that look like Professor Ju's.

He'll be tracked down in a couple of hours.

Let me know as soon as you get the results.

Okay.

You shouldn't be here.

If you wait over there, we'll let you know as soon as we have news.

She's here.

Hello. Please sit down.

Please wait.

Who is she?

She's Professor Ju's mother.

(Ju Hye Sung)

Please.

Did Hye Sung kill all those people?

We're still investigating.

He did, didn't he?

I heard on my way here.

How...

I'm sure it's very difficult, but please help us investigate.

I'm not sure if I can be of any help.

What did you talk about...

on your last phone call with your son?

I'm not sure.

Okay.

- In Rang. - Yes?

Did you say Professor Ju turned right?

Yes, he turned right that way.

He's looking for something Hyun Ji has.

She got into an accident while bringing that thing to me.

That means whatever it is, the thing must be in Seoul.

That's right.

Then why did he come here?

I think he was distracting us.

I bet he went to Seoul.

(Seoul)

(Seoul)

Did you fix it?

Of course. We can ride this thing for 10 more years.

What should we do? Where do we go now?

Should we just go to Seoul?

The detectives said...

- he was preparing to flee, right? - Yes.

Wouldn't he have researched in advance then?

Probably.

Then...

Hey, where are you going?

Hey.

What are you doing?

Are you looking into the destinations on the GPS?

He must have deleted it already. You're so dumb.

Of course he deleted it.

However, it's still recorded in the RAM even if you delete it.

I might be able to get up to a week of previous searches.

I got it. It's here.

It's here.

Is that a phone number?

Coordinates.

It's the longitude and latitude.

If I match it on top of the map...

Ta-da.

Who are you, really?

Bong Pal. Come over here.

Bong Pal, Bong Pal.

Look.

It's the latest route.

That's the school...

and that's the vet.

- Where is that? - Maybe Guil-dong. Let me see.

Here.

Guil-dong! That's where the closed down shopping centre is.

It's a great place for bad guys to hide.

Could Hyun Ji be here?

Let's go and find out.

Thank you.

I'm sorry.

I'm not very helpful.

No. I'm thankful that you came at all.

We'll take you home.

It's okay.

I'll get going.

Are you all right?

- Yes. - Can we talk?

I'm so sorry.

I'm sorry.

I have nothing to say.

No, no.

I'm not trying to get your apology.

- Then... - There is something...

I want to ask you about your son.

I already told everything to the detective.

Even if you ask me, I won't know anything.

You can tell me what you couldn't tell the detectives.

When did...

your son change?

I already know that an evil spirit resides within him.

When did it start?

It's my fault...

this happened to Hye Sung.

You punk! You're just like your mother.

I told you not to look at me like that.

Don't look at me!

Hye Sung! Run away!

What's wrong? Please stop!

No!

Why are you crying?

Do you want my help?

No. Go away.

Get away from me!

I can get you out of this nightmare.

Well?

You should save your mum. Right?

Mum?

Mum...

Kill him. Kill him, kill him!

Hye Sung. Hye Sung...

My goodness! Someone just fell!

My goodness.

He fell.

Gosh.

I should have taken better care of him.

If I did,

he wouldn't have turned out that way.

I'm home.

Mum.

Mum?

Mum?

Can you give me your number and your address?

It's so hot today.

Why are there so many reports on such a hot day?

Yes, okay.

There are too many reports.

You're right.

By the way, who is he?

His mother moved away when he got home after school.

- Did you call his parents? - Yes, I did.

She'll be here soon.

Ever since then, Hye Sung started to change.

When he started living at the school residence during middle school,

we only called each other once in a while.

Everything is my fault.

I turned him like that.

I'm the sinner.

Why did Mum pack so many things...

when I'm going away for just one day?

It's a hassle to carry everything around.

(Myongsong University Station)

You're up.

I've waited for a long time.

Why are you doing this to me?

You'd know if you got your memory back.

Don't resent me.

The one you should resent is the people who gave you the thing.

They tortured you for five years.

Without those people,

we wouldn't have met like this.

Don't you agree?

Are you scared of me?

No.

You don't scare me at all.

I see.

Do you know what's scarier than being scared?

It's getting caught that you are scared.

Look.

You are still shivering.

What are you?

You are not human, are you?

Well.

What do you think?

Do you think I'm a human or not?

Whether I am a human or not...

depends on your answer.

That thing.

Where is it?

That's something very important to Bong Pal.

If ever you remember it,

you must let me know. Do you understand?

What's wrong?

You still don't remember?

I will help you remember then.

Hello?

Mum.

Hyun Ji? Are you Hyun Ji?

- Hello? - Mum!

How is it?

Do you remember now?

You better remember it all.

Otherwise,

people you love will die one by one.

Hey!

Hyun Ji.

Hyun Ji!

Hyun Ji! Kim Hyun Ji!

Hyun Ji!

- Kim Hyun Ji! - Kim Hyun Ji!

Oh dear.

(Myongsong University Station)

He must've felt guilty of killing his father...

and wanted to protect himself from his ignorant mother.

The small hostility that penetrated through him like a needle...

summoned the evil spirit.

He skilfully penetrated through his open wound.

Is there any humanity left to that professor?

No. They are almost one now.

Then what will happen now?

Where is the thing I asked?

Wait.

I can't believe I came here and struggled so much to make this.

Oh dear. Good job.

Thank you.

I hope the spirits' energies are contained in this sword.

If you borrow the spirits' power with that body,

you won't even be able to walk again.

Do you want to be crippled?

Your nagging is getting worse. That means it's time for me to go.

What are you trying to do?

I'll finish a job I failed to get done 18 years ago.

What?

I am going to kill him.

But you don't even have the ritual tools!

You will just end up killing yourself!

I have the spirits' power.

If I don't kill him, Bong Pal will be in danger.

Take care.

Get married. I'm leaving.

You better not do anything stupid.

Think of your mother.

Get off.

Bong Pal!

Is it true that he's here?

Yes.

Then...

did you call the police?

They will be here soon.

Bong Pal, I will go in alone.

- You stay here. - No.

This happened all because of me.

I should finish it.

You stay here.

We...

Let's go.

Sir, the subway is closed.

Sir, the subway is closed. Go.

When you go up, there are buses. Go ride the bus.

Wait.

He must have been here not too long ago.

Bong Pal!

Hyun Ji!

Hyun Ji!

Hyun Ji!

Kim Hyun Ji!

Hyun Ji!

Hyun Ji!

Bong Pal.

- Can't you find her? - No, I can't.

We looked everywhere.

Are you sure she's here?

(Myongsong University Station)

She should be here.

She must have remembered it wrong because it's been five years.

Or it must be the evil ghost's trick.

How can they disappear just like that?

It's been five years?

If it was five years go, it wasn't this place.

If Hyun Ji was here five years ago, it wasn't this place.

What are you talking about?

There was a fire five years ago.

The old track got shut down. This is the new track.

That's right. There was a fire.

Where's the old track?

Well...

It must be near Exit Two.

(Do not enter.)

It's spooky here.

We should give the police directions.

- That's right. - Right.

All right.

Bong Pal.

Be careful.

You, too.

You've done your job.

I'll put you to sleep.

Hyun Ji!

Here we go.

I was going to look for you.

Thank you for showing up in front of me.

Do you know how long I waited for this moment?

If I wasn't kicked out of your body,

this would have never happened.

You just wait.

We'll be together again soon.

No!

You wicked thing. Don't try to use your wicked tricks!

Bong Pal. Hyun Ji. Are you all right?

Hyun Ji,

take Bong Pal and get out of here. Hurry.

That's not going to happen.

Are you really going to kill me?

Then you'll have to kill this body.

It'll turn you into a murderer.

That's right.

If I can put a stop to you,

I'll do it.

Don't overdo it.

I'm so sick of you.

Let's end it for good today.

You little...

I told you not to overdo it.

It's over!

You punk!

Are you all right?

Hyun Ji.

The ritual tool...

Avalokitesvara...

Bodhisattva!

Monk Myung Cheol.

It's done.

It's done.

Hyun Ji.

Hyun Ji.

What is that?

No!

Hyun Ji, find the ritual tool.

It's the only thing that can kill this spirit.

Hyun Ji...

Monk!

(Bring it on, Ghost)

Hyun Ji is leaving.

Why do you perform exorcism?

Do you know why I was against...

you performing exorcism?

That's because your eyes were full of resentment.

Do you remember these people?

I killed them.

It's impossible to look at the world in good light with such eyes.

What is going on?

She's a crook.

Not all ghosts are bad.

In fact, we should feel sorry for them.

Get lost!

Do you think you can do it?

Well, that depends on you.

I thought it was a soup restaurant.

I'm a sophomore majoring in Physical Education.

I'm Gu Dae Young.

There is no other job that makes yourself happier...

than a job that makes others become happy.

(My Love Bong Pal)

Hello.

My name is Kim Hyun Ji and I'm a freshman.

I look forward to getting to know you.

(Bring it on, Ghost)

(In a dark basement, Kim So Hyun is being chased.)

(It's Kwon Yul with glaring eyes.)

(He's using his powers.)

(So Hyun ends up being caught.)

Should I fly with you?

You'd be less upset if we both flew.

I feel so bad.

I'm heartbroken.

Heartbroken.

(The action scenes continue.)

(Yul blocks Taec Yeon's attack easily.)

Do you know how long I waited for this moment?

(Kim Sang Ho runs over to save Taec Yeon.)

Are you really going to kill me?

If I can put a stop to you...

(With loud screams, Yul and Sang Ho start fighting.)

(However, he's not strong enough to fight Yul.)

(Sang Ho falls down.)

(Yul is stomping on Taec Yeon.)

(Sang Ho is using his powers.)

(Choking)

(They're joking around.)

It's the only thing that can kill this spirit.

(Sang Ho ends up falling from Yul's attack.)

(Taec Yeon is heartbroken.)

Monk!

Bong Pal.

(So Hyun throws the ritual tool to Taec Yeon.)

(Taec Yeon is about to give his final blow.)

(Yelling)

(Taec Yeon is helping other actors to look in the right direction.)

(He's joking around again.)

(Taec Yeon tries to attack again with the ritual tool.)

(Take this!)

(The evil spirit leaves thanks to Taec Yeon's attack.)

(Yul falls on the ground.)

(Bring it on, Ghost)
