This is my redemption.

This is what I've been
waiting for.

they're more than meets the eye.

When I sit at that poker table,

I, like, switch into another

When Swindle has

I've lived in the shadows
of legends my whole life.

I've always been Steve's son

and brother of Mat Rogers,
the Godfather.

He played a great game twice

but he didn't take out
the title.

So I love you, Mat, but I want
that title of Sole Survivor.

The aspect of my life
that's prepared me for Survivor

is, I would say,
losing my brother to suicide.

Grief completely shatters
your life.

It means so much to be out here,
to have the opportunity

to redeem my brother's story

and my parents' story.

They lost their child

and I want to show them that...

..they've raised an amazing,
resilient, strong daughter...

..that can achieve anything.

And that's what I'm here to do.

I'm here to do it
for Mum and Dad.

It's time to turn this story
of victimhood

into something about victory.

And here to finish
what they started...

..are four returning players.

Back to reclaim
their Survivor legacies.

MAN: Statistically, I'm one
of the worst players

to ever play Australian
Survivor.

But we all know that act three
is the greatest redemption arc

for any main character.

We get a chance to see them rise
from the ashes,

rise to the occasion and...

..to overcome all evil...

..and win.

And that is what I'm here to do.

This will be my great trilogy.

From outsiders to those
who have fallen short...

Survivor is my third
mid-life crisis.

This one's very different

because it's on
a national scale.

..these everyday competitors

are fighting
for something greater.

the other little black girls

who've ever felt like me.

for the last few years.

So I'm here to get rid of that
PTSD and just have a fresh mind.

allowing one of you to grab
a hanging key.

That person will race out
and unlock a torch.

When the pyramid is at the end
of the track,

your torch bearer
will race back,

light a fireball which
will ignite a cauldron.

First tribe to ignite
that cauldron

wins reward.
