This field never fails to surprise us.

I've received a lot of awards
for fashion photography.

But this is my first award as a photojournalist.

Once I had felt that I would get this award once.

But I didn't get it then.

This award is for all the press photographers,

who work day and night, for a good photograph.

Whether the incident is good or bad,
the photo must come out well.

This is the excitement of working in this field,

that there is no timing or format
for any event.

At times the issues are so sensitive, that it
becomes difficult to take a shot.

During such times, we have to be professional.

I think, while covering a sensitive issue

you can't be a good human and
a good photographer at the same time.

Photographers try to capture the Truth
that common people cannot see.

If we don't cover it, how will anyone know
what really happened?
