things got said in our
group text the night before.

in our group text.

Basically, putting advice between the
offense and the defense and how well the

defense did this year
compared to the offense.

And, you know, threw some
numbers out there and he let

us have it and told us, you
know, you guys can all pack.

You guys are all free to go.

My husband was fired.

He comes back home and
he says that he's been rehired.

So from that, it just means
that, okay, you're firing

people off of emotions
and now you're backtracking.

I guess if you want to look for a
negative in this job is that, you know,

it could be taken away
from you at a drop of a dime.

comes with the territory.

My first reaction, I was
just thinking about the kids.

They've been through a lot.

They have been troopers.

We'll see what the
future holds for us.

Coach Jason Brown told a German student
that he was the student's new Hitler.

The Montgomery County Chronicle broke a
story concerning a series of text messages.

It was Brown's
reference to Hitler that is

raising eyebrows and
concerns on social media.

Brown told the German
student athlete that he

was being reprimanded
for disobedient behavior.

He told the student athlete
that he was, quote, a new

Hitler before telling him he
had been cut from the team.

Brown was known for his
abrasive coaching style.

This guy's a complete clown.

sympathetic given this guy's history.

point anything wrong.

After I told him, you're cut, he goes
directly to the AC building, to the admin

building, and starts cussing out
people in the hallways in German.

So that's when I texted him.

He called me a German fuck,
and that he's my new Hitler.

So I did write a
report to the school.

What is my right to do?

I did talk twice to Dr. Barwick.

I talked twice to Tammy.

I was thinking he was going to
apologize, but Coach Brown was

rude to me again with all the
players and all the coaches there.

To post the message
was that the world is going

to know what he did,
and this is not correct.

It became a whirlwind that people were
inside of and turning around and saying,

well there it goes, there
it goes, there it goes.

And the solution just
kept spinning around.

Within about two days, it was clearly
both a national and an international story.

Should I put that

But you know, don't do the
crime if you can't do the time.

We had a meeting with
the board of trustees to

basically walk them through
the sequence of events.

All that meeting was supposed to be was
to aggress the board of what's going on.

Just get them updated.

This is the deal.

And then these people show up to
it, and it ends up being a beheading.

And so they come
up with this plan.

They want you to resign.

They'll pay you out.

The era of Jason Brown and
the Pirates seemed to be over.

The people I know, by and large,

The loss of Jason Brown was unfortunate
for the college and for our football team.

He ranked high in GPA collectively

tight discipline on the players.

I think it should have been handled by

And Coach could have done an
apology and this could have all gone away.

Brown was plugged into so many big
universities that he could get their red

knew what kind of players that he

could cultivate and he would
bring them to the next level.

Now we've lost that.

That's why I think we've got a lot of
stuff we do have right now to this day,

just because of his
style of getting stuff done.

Dream U and whether he's here

or not, we still have that
brand and we still have a name.

You know, I'm going to be honest, I
think the whole Last Chance U story,

the real paradigm that I
see is Jason is that kid.

He didn't survive and grow
up by being politically correct.

You know, he hustled.

He's a battler.

He does it in a different
way because he's been there.

He knew what worked for him.

He knew what got him out.

And I think that's his gift.

And that's a very important gift for
the men that he brings in to the program.
