The gallant working men of this

I believe deserve a better deal

than they're getting
at the moment --

decent housing,
proper employment, higher wages.

Now, the coalition government,

Mr. Lloyd George
and his mixed band of helpers,

claim that this is being done.

But I say it is not being done
fast enough

nor with a true
understanding of your needs.

There are too many arguments,
too much time is being wasted.

Now a single party,
united and pulling together

can do the job
in half the time.

That party
is the Conservative Party.

Now, during the weeks to come
I shall be holding open meetings

and issuing pamphlets
which lay down our proposals.

And also, I hope, during my
campaign in the constituency,

to meet many of you to discuss
your individual prob--
