Let's go.

Okay.

- Fire! - Fire!

Don't go there!

Hurry up!

Escort Ms. Wen and Wuyou home.

- Aren't you coming with us? - Yes.

I'll go see what's going on.

Don't worry, Ms. Wen.

The guards will protect me.

You must be careful.

Go ahead.

- Fire! - Fire!

Fire!

Something's off.

- Fire! - Fire!

- Run! - Fire!

- Fire! - Help!

There's a fire! Stay away!

Hurry up!

Fire!

Go!

Come on!

Run!

Qingyu.

Where's Li?

Her Highness

had the guards escort us home.

We don't know where she went either.

But she has guards with her.

Fire!

Yusheng.

Take them to Xiangqi Pavilion.

And I'll go find Li.

Okay.

Got it.

You must be careful.

You all follow me.

Come on!

Go!

Who's there?

You guys

set fires everywhere, killing innocent people.

Is this how you serve your leader

and achieve your great cause?

This is none of your business.

Either leave

or die.

Let's see who will die.

Are you okay, man?

You're dead!

Run!

Are you okay?

Where are you going?

Mingde Hall.

Stop!

Mo Jingli has led his army

to besiege Mingde Hall.

It's dangerous out there.

You can't go.

I'm the emperor.

Should I cower within the palace walls,

waiting for the rebels to slaughter my people

until they come kill me?

Stop!

You can't go.

If anything happens to you,

I won't get through it.

Mother.

I've started to rule.

So, as you said,

I'm able to decide

on my own

whatever happens.

Your Majesty.

Duke Hua has led troops in to protect you.

He sent me specifically to inform you.

Dachu will certainly be safe.

Dispatch the elite guards to support them immediately.

Yes.

We traveled day and night,

arriving a day earlier than planned.

But it's still too late.

Listen up.

Set up camp.

We'll enter the palace tomorrow.

Yes.

Run!

Help!

Run!

Go!

Your Highness.

I heard

that to welcome you back,

His Majesty arranged a three-day lantern event.

Perhaps,

a jubilant crowd

is celebrating.

That's why it sounds noisy.

Your Highness.

We just received a message.

The city is in chaos.

There are fires everywhere.

Send word.

Tell him that I've arrived early.

Have him open the gate.

Yes.

Prince Ding, by imperial decree, has suppressed the rebellion

and returned in triumph.

We have urgent intelligence

to report to His Majesty immediately. So, may we enter now?

We've received an imperial order

that Prince Ding is allowed to enter tomorrow.

Can you quickly report to the palace?

General, please wait a moment.

We will report immediately.

Thank you.

Open the gate!

Guo Jin, an evil woman,

burned down the Eastern Palace

to usurp the throne,

inciting much outrage.

Prince Li is the bloodline of the late emperor.

Today, by the will of heaven,

we'll execute Guo Jin and restore order to the nation.

You should now lay down your weapons and surrender.

What are you waiting for?

Mo Jingli is a rebel

attacking the palace.

That's a capital crime.

All soldiers, hear my command.

Defend the palace.

Kill the rebels.

- Yes! - Yes!

Loyal souls of Dachu,

fight to the death with me.

What a fool!

Charge!

- Charge! - Charge!

Suixin!

Your Highness.

Something's wrong in the city.

Have the vanguard

enter the city with me.

What?

You can't, Your Highness.

You now command a large army.

If you enter the city without an imperial decree,

it means a rebellion.

Your Highness.

The former Prince Ding's death is a warning.

Your Highness.

The situation in the city is still unclear.

You must not rush in.

Have an elite unit follow me

into the city.

Yes.

Your Highness.

Escort Duke Hua to safety.

- Yes! - Yes!

Little Li.

Be careful.

Mo Jingli.

Do you want to be an emperor that much?

So many people died in the city.

The streets ran red with blood.

Tell me.

Since you treat countless lives as disposable,

do you deserve to rule over the land?

Are you fit to sit on the throne?

Li.

Don't stop me.

What if I do?

Do you want me to die?

I can't turn back now.

At this point,

nothing and no one in this world can stop me.

You

can't either.

Li.

Get out of the way.

No way.

Then don't blame me for this.

Mo Jingli.

It's all over.

Mo Jingli.

Just surrender.

You killed Yuan Fang

and Princess Lingyun.

You stirred up things.

To usurp the throne,

you even set fires and slaughtered innocent people.

Such crimes

are unforgivable.

The winner takes all.

Enough talk!

I would rather die

than surrender.
