of the Christmas Story,

the true meaning of this day.

"A long time ago
in the town of Nazareth,

lived a young woman named Mary.

One day,
while Mary was at home,

the angel Gabriel suddenly appeared.

The angel said,
'Do not be afraid.

You will have a baby boy,
and you will name him Jesus"

Mary and Joseph were married

and then traveled from Nazareth
to Bethlehem for the census.

When they finally reached Bethlehem,

the only place that they could find
was a stable amongst the animals.

That night, an exciting and
wonderful thing happened.

Mary and Joseph had a baby,

Jesus, the son of God.

She wrapped him in swaddling clothes
and laid him in a manger.

In the fields outside of Bethlehem
there were shepherds keeping watch..."
