creatures for over six months, now I

though I'm part of their clan.

If they will allow me into their
intimate circle, it will mean a great

breakthrough for science and, of course,
for me. Then, perhaps, I can take my

rightful place in the annals of history

They love to play a strange game that I
believe teaches them hunting skills.

My favorite of the clan has just
arrived.

It's the young male I call Bright Eyes.

I call him this because he seems to have
been blessed with an intelligence far

beyond the others.

I think Bright Eyes has a little crush
on me.

I seem to have a special rapport with
this one.

To the uneducated eye, it would appear
that Bright Eyes was only interested in

food, but I think he's really trying to
communicate with me.

And she's talking into that table
corner, too. What does she want?

I'm getting concerned, Hugh. She's a lot
closer to the house now.
