Based on Urino-kun's reasoning,

It was a stretch to begin with,

At this point, he ought to have given up
on the fire safety plan theory.

In other words, the theory that
the arsonist was a Funado High student,

and was choosing their next target
by reading Urino-kun's articles.

the articles needed to be stopped.

stopped the actual crimes...

So we turned to Itsukaichi-kun to help us.

Monchi-kun was feeding me
information up until April.

I never would've guessed
you'd also sent in a spy.

I asked him how Urino-kun
was doing in the club,

and he told me he'd been so busy with the
arson case, he hadn't been doing the basics.

for our prime suspect.

You boil chestnuts, strain them well,

Well, it's like a western kurikinton.

The way they make it is
totally different, though.

They boil the chestnuts, peel them,
then dip them in syrup.

Once the syrup has covered the chestnuts,

And they do that over and over.

Eventually, after all those layers are added,

the chestnut itself turns sweet.

I realized something.

The trains passing were definitely loud,
