my grandmother used to tell me.

and she got married

to a man whose family didn't approve,

so they had to keep it a secret.

She couldn't wear her wedding ring
or the ruby necklace that he gave her.

She had to keep the ruby
necklace hidden in a box,

and I started wondering

what would happen if somebody found it.

The way everyone's looking
for the Tarynsville Amulet.

All came from Nana.

for a tour of the town.

that happened there.

I thought it was true.

But you don't anymore?

I guess maybe I believe in romance,

but it's a lot more

common in my books than it's
ever been in my real life.
