The inside of Han Kyul's home is expansive.

It's a bit of a waste to live here alone,

but it�s a home we�d like to freely experience just once,

Han Kyul's special rooftop home, enhanced by Namsan Animation Center.

The first time I went there, I was shocked, because it was so nice.

It was supposed to be a place I lived alone,

a place made just for me,

where I could be completely free.

The rooftop, or you could call it a penthouse.

Isn't it the kind of place youngsters want to live in?

Wanting to live at the very top,

closest to the sky, in a spacious place.

Yoo Ju's home holds a secret.

(Jang Hyun Ju, Lee Jung Ah, Writers) I don't know if the director will dislike me saying this,

but Yoo Ju's home is just like the interior of her home.

Exactly the same.

Yoo Ju's interior was decorated just like it.

Even the little bicycle on the side, that's the same.

These days, wherever you go, Coffee Prince style is all the talk.

What do you think the reason is?

The characters were well expressed through their clothing.

The clothes themselves were realistic,

and they suited the characters wonderfully.

A healthy and bright image expresses Eun Chan's style.

I'm fine, I ate a lot for breakfast.

She really looked like she'd truly transformed into the male character herself,

from the way she walked, down to her shoes and socks.

Seeing that, I was really startled.

It seemed out of the question to wear brand-new clothing.

I'd wear clothes that looked very worn in, instead of things off the racks.

Something you'd throw on and off at home, and wear comfortably, over and over.

Wearing tomboyish fashions, Eun Chan Style

and even her hairstyle have entirely shifted university trends.

About a week before, I chopped my hair all off right away, without regret.

After I cut it, I liked the short look.

Don�t short hair and hooded T-shirts seem just like Eun Chan?

It's like how you feel buying a 20,000 won T-shirt when all you have is 30,000 won.

I wanted her character to be like that concept.

I'll go home first. I don't feel well.

it seemed like the dress of someone who'd spent a lot of time living in New York.

together with the director and the stylist,

we paid close attention.

shooting from a moving car, to film Han Kyul driving off in the distance.

The crew, perched precariously on a moving vehicle with their equipment,

doesn�t balk at the dangerous work.

Their sweat and efforts are part of the scene.

All of a sudden, while filming,

I started sobbing like a baby without knowing why.

At that moment, I had a remarkable feeling.

As though Gong Yoo was nowhere in the scene,

like I was a different person.

Gong Yoo was more intensely swept up in that scene than in any other,

and couldn�t stop his tears for a long while even after the scene finished filming.

The drama has its male leads singing a song in a few scenes.

In order to capture the song and atmosphere perfectly,

the crew shoots and reshoots endlessly.

How sentimental.

When a drama winds to a close, the actors and crew members all go a little crazy.

Moving softly like flowing water, this scene

was filmed by loading a camera on rails.

The Coffee Prince cafe was an essential location in the drama.

This setting for Han Kyul and Eun Chan�s sweet love story

was really an oven whose intense heat they had to battle.

On top of that, there was additional heat from the lighting,

practically bathing the actors in sweat.

The staff chased a rigorous schedule,

and would get in their rest, sleeping on the set.

Filming started on April 30, ending on August 27.

I was full way back then,

and we�re eating fried chicken!

Getting to know one another very well, the laughs were endless on the set.

On the last day, there were more sad farewell tears.

(Choi Yong Joon, Set Coordinator) Because of the season, we all sweat so much.

I�ve lost about eight kilograms myself.

I think everyone�s lost about five kilograms.

(Sa Seok Chun, Set Coordinator) Everything feels even happier, and even sadder.

I think Coffee Prince has made everything feel like that,

making us feel more.

At the filming location, actors and staff must grow familiar with waiting.

Yoon Eun Hye converted that waiting time into recording memories.

In the past, because I didn�t have pictures, I only had the memories in my head.

Later, I�d look at the pictures I took and recall, Ah, I remember those times.

It�s like watching a film over again.

Yoon Eun Hye excels at artistic skills,

and decorated the Polaroid photos herself that were used in the last episode.

To make the drama, a lot of work went on at the film location site.

On a hot, sunny day, the actors and crew ran all over, turning the scene into a rainy day.

In contrast, a sudden rain forced everyone to take cover.

Of course, the crew had to stay behind to defend the food.

With just the last scene to film,

the actors made their way to a restaurant in a small corner of Hongdae.

Because of the busy schedule, it�s been difficult for all the actors to gather together like this.

The drama may show them enjoying refined things like wine and coffee,

but in real life, they�re easy-going and simple.

Stories that had been stored inside over time start to come out.

But still, of the dramas I've done,

this is the first one written like this.

They've developed understanding and warmth for one another.

- The actor most similar to their character is Yoon Eun Hye, isn�t it? - That�s right.

The reason is, although it�s a trendy drama dressed in fancy outer wrappings, we tried to pour our sincerity into it,

and that�s what Eun Hye is really like.

When did you get here?

I want to clap, but I needed someone to clap hands with.

But I didn�t have anyone. It was really lonely.

But suddenly, she appeared.

With her small eyes, pink cheeks, flying from Itaewon to Kangnam on her bicycle.

I thought I shouldn�t let those get in the way of my own feelings and intentions, but

thinking now, I think there were a lot of embarrassing scenes and expressions.

As much as Coffee Prince is a drama made for women and appealing to women,

it was strongly infused with women�s sensibilities.
