but the most magical place of all is the North Pole.

It's every kid's dream to visit and today,

those dreams become reality.

- Ho, ho!

- Santa! [all cheering]

- For the first time in history,

I've transported seven extraordinary

builders and creators here to work along with my elves.

These handpicked elf-testants

will live and compete here at the North Pole

with unprecedented access to Santa's village.

- [screams]

- They'll be put to the test

in series of fun challenges

that will measure their skills, building know-how,

and creativity.

- No!

- And of course, I've invited

some celebrity guests

to join us for the fun.

- [squealing]

- In the end, only one elf-testant

will be left standing as...

all: Top Elf!

- The magic has only just begun.

[magical music]

- Whoa.

I'm Cameron. I'm 12 years old

and I'm from Georgetown, Kentucky.

I'm in the North Pole and it's really exciting and big.

I can be Top Elf because things I'm best at

is woodworking, crafting, pretty much building

with anything I can get my hands on.

- Oh, my God... this is insane.

I'm Briana. I'm 11 years old

and I'm from Oakland, California.

I wanna be the Top Elf because I can sew,

I can paint, I can draw.

This is so cool.

- I am Hopper and I am from Dallas, Texas

and I'm 13 years old.

- Hi. - Hi.

I really like art and drawing

and painting and I really like doing fashion,

and just drawing clothes-- it's really cool.

There's like every art supply you could ever want in here.

- Oh, my God...

- Isn't this amazing?

- I'm Aiko. I'm 13 years old

and I'm from New York City.

I'm very excited to go to the North Pole.

I'm good at woodworking and modeling with clay,

and also origami.

- I am Hud. I am 11 years old

and I'm from Oxford, Mississippi.

This is just, like, a dream come true.

I love colored pencils and spray paint.

Spray paint is my number one material.

Colored pencils is my second.

- Whoa.

My name is Justice. I'm 12 years old

and I'm from Jamaica, New York.

My skill set is animating

and painting.

When I get older, I wanna become an animator.

- [gasps] Oh, my God!

- Hey! - Hi!

- My name's Allison. I'm ten years old

and I live in Walnut, California.

I love art and making stuff.

I won four Halloween costumes in a row because I built them.

So when Santa asks me to do a task,

I'll be like, "Done."

- Glitter! - I love glitter.

[bells chiming]

- Hello! [chuckles]

- Santa! [all cheering]

- I have so many questions!

- My goodness. Hello, hello.

- I'm really excited to see Santa.

That suit is very fetch.

- Welcome to the North Pole.

- Welcome. I'm Ms. Jingles.

What a pleasure.

- Yes. [laughter]

- I'm Santa's right hand elf.

We are so excited to have all of you here.

Santa's been visiting your houses for years

and he chose you out of everybody in the world

to compete for Top Elf.

Are you ready for your first challenge?

all: Yeah!

- Now, every day at the North Pole begins

with a Fast Flurry Challenge.

Let's bring out the trees!

all chanting: Bring on the trees!

- Hey, guys.

Thank you. - Thank you, elves.

Thank you. Give them a round of applause.

[applause]

Now, one of the most important jobs for an elf

at the North Pole is to decorate a tree

quickly and carefully.

- Every elf-testant will have

a basket of ornaments and a star.

Your job is to hang all 14 ornaments

and balance them on these wobbly branches.

The elf-testant who does this the fastest

is going to win an advantage in our Snow Storm Challenge.

That's our big one of the day.

- We're gonna have a challenge before our challenge

to give you an advantage for the next challenge.

I was like, whoa.

- Any questions?

- Hud.

- Let's just say you wanted

a sports car for Christmas.

Could a sports car fit on the sleigh?

- Santa can make anything fit.

- Perfect.

- All right, everyone.

Take your spots by your trees.

- I wanna win this first challenge because

any advantage would just do me great, you know.

- Don't forget, we need 14 ornaments

and the star on the tree to win.

Ready, set, go!

- [chuckles]

This is wonderful.

Yes!

♪ ♪

- It's way harder than it looks,

'cause unlike a normal tree, they teeter--

go back and forth.

- Balance is key, my elf-testants.

- Look at them go.

- Aiko, you're looking good.

- No, wait, that--that's my tree.

Wait, no, this one is.

- All of a sudden, I realize I'm decorating

Hopper's tree and he's decorating my tree.

So we swap places and luckily we were on the same pace,

so, you know, it all worked out.

- Hud is balancing well.

Good job, Justice.

Wow, look at Cameron's tree back there.

He just needs the star and he's done.

[upbeat music]

- Oh! We have a winner!

- Cameron.

- I just won the Fast Flurry Challenge,

so I get an advantage in the Snow Storm Challenge

and I just wanna know what it is!

- Cameron, you are our first winner

of our first Fast Flurry Challenge!

- Wow! You've done it.

Congratulations.

- Cameron deserved to win. He knew exactly

how to get it done and he was just so precise.

- You all did a wonderful, wonderful job.

Well, that was just a warm up.

Now it's time for something even bigger.

I'm looking for the elves who demonstrate

the four true gifts of elfhood.

The gift of design.

- I love design.

- The gift of building.

- Buildings are necessary.

- The gift of creativity.

- You all are creative, that's why you're here.

- Yes--and last, but certainly not least,

the gift of holiday cheer.

[all cheering]

- That's my favorite, too.

That's right, you are being held to elf standard.

Anything less,

you're gonna find yourself on the Naughty List.

[all exclaim]

- Well of course, right now, you're all on the Nice List.

Especially because you've all chosen to compete

not just for yourselves, but for someone in need.

- The winning elf-testant will be named Top Elf

and will have their wish list fulfilled

to the tune of $25,000.

[all exclaim]

- [chuckles] Isn't that fantastic!

[all cheering]

- If I win Top Elf, I'm gonna donate

to the National Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

because my mom and my grandfather both had cancer.

- The charity that is on the top of my list

is March of Dimes.

I was a preemie baby and if people did not donate,

I probably wouldn't have been able to do

a lot of the stuff I can do now.

- I really wanna win so I can donate to my cause,

but at the same time, no matter who wins,

money's going somewhere good.

- Elf-testants, it's time for your next challenge.

We call it...

the Snow Storm Challenge!

- In our very first Snow Storm Challenge,

you wonderful elf-testants are going to be doing

something I love-- designing holiday cards.

[all cheering]

Elf helpers, bring in the cards!

- Quickly, elves, quickly. This is what you train for.

- Stretch, come on. [laughter]

As you can see, these are no ordinary holiday cards.

They are larger than life.

- I've decorated so many holiday cards at home,

but never one this size.

- Your challenge is to create a giant card that shows

what the holidays mean to you.

We wanna see your design,

your building skills, all of it.

In other words... bling it on, my elves!

- [giggles]

- All of your items are in the supply shack.

You'll have four hours.

Cameron, since you won the Flurry Challenge,

you'll have an advantage.

It's a basket with special supplies.

It's waiting for you at your elf station.

The card must feature a photo of you on the cover,

or as we say here, in the North Pole, an elf-ie.

- And as an added surprise, here to help us judge later on,

it's actor and Internet sensation, Alex Wassabi!

[all cheering]

- In this next challenge,

we have randomly assigned each of you an elf helper.

- Hi! - Hello.

My name is Nog, short for Eggnog Shimmerhorn.

- I like eggnog. [giggles]

- I'm Zippy, full name is Zippy Twinkles.

You can call me Zip or Z, or ZT.

- My name is Stretch. Stretchy McDancerpants.

- How'd you get that name?

- Well, I am one of the tallest elves in the North Pole.

- Oh, I'm gonna need that.

- I'm Cameron--wait, let me guess, let me guess.

You're Chip? - How did you guess?

- Hi! Good to meet you.

Should we do a high five, or a handshake?

- Uh, high five. - Could we do both?

- What's your full name?

- ♪ My name is Mary ♪

- What up?

I'm Ginger O'Tingleton.

I come from a long, long line of builders and makers.

- All right, you have all met your elf helpers

and you are ready.

Do not forget, you only have four hours

to complete your challenge. On your marks...

- All right, let's go. - Okay.

- Beautiful. - Okay.

- That is a great unicorn.

- I am designing a unicorn

ice skating in a snowy wonderland forest.

- Okay, so I was thinking an alien theme.

I wanted to think very outside the box and I was thinking,

who doesn't get Christmas every year?

And since Area 51 is getting opened up,

let's give the aliens some Christmas.

One year, me and my uncle,

'cause he's into aliens and stuff...

- Uh-huh.

- We went on an investigation around Christmas.

And we thought of a little pun.

"Merry X-Mas," but you know what "X" stands for?

Extraterrestrial.

- We're gonna have a window,

so you can see inside.

- That's amazing.

- For my holiday card, I'm gonna make a Christmas tree

and I'm gonna make my own ornaments.

I'm gonna put some presents under the Christmas tree,

'cause who doesn't like opening presents?

We need to go!

♪ ♪

- [vocalizing]

- [grunting] I can't reach it.

- This is just like one of those crazy sales at Elf-mart.

- I have to make everything ten times bigger.

It's pretty nerve-wracking.

- I got foam!

- [squealing] [laughter]

- Coming up on "Top Elf..."

- I only have two hours left.

to make the biggest card I've ever seen in my life.

- Oops.

- If you have glitter everywhere,

that means you're doing something right.

- Oh, no!

- We accidentally spelled "world" wrong.

[groans] What am I supposed to do?

[bells chiming]

[magical music]

- [screaming]

- Whoa, this is long, people!

- In their very first Snow Storm Challenge,

these seven elf-testants have only four hours

to create larger than life holiday cards

showing what the holidays mean to them.

- Can we open this? - Yeah, you can open it.

- The design for my holiday card is a tradition

me and my mom do every year. It's a gumdrop tree.

Oh, Lord.

- Yeah, we need lots of this.

- Lots of this--done, check.

- Oh there are gemstones! I need the gemstones.

- Okay.

- The card is humongous!

I have all these plans

and I only have four hours to make 'em,

so I have to make 'em quick.

[overlapping chatter]

- I got some markers 'cause I couldn't do it in pencil.

- I just remembered! We gotta take your photo.

- For this challenge, you need a picture

of yourself on the cover.

- I love it!

- So good.

- Aw, yeah.

- Oh, yeah.

[upbeat music]

- I'm gonna start just rough sketching it right now.

The design for my card is gonna be

my grandpa's farm with the path going up.

I love the holidays 'cause my family's always

big into decorating. We have a Christmas tree,

pretty much in every bedroom.

We have one in the basement, one in our living room.

They're everywhere.

- I think we need to start drawing the window.

- You wanna do the window first?

- Yeah.

- And then we'll do the tree after that?

- Yeah. - Okey dokey.

- First you need to draw

and then cut and then decorate.

You have to have steps or else you'll just be

all over the place.

Then we must hurry.

- We must. Let's do this.

- An organized work station will keep me less stressed.

- Yep.

- My plan for my holiday greeting card

is to make a snow globe.

I can't reach the top. - I'm on it!

- I'm gonna make the card pink,

so it stands out from the rest.

- Oh, this is looking nice. - Yeah.

- My design is basically like, you don't have to choose

between Hanukkah and Christmas.

My mom is Jewish and my dad is Christian

and so we celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah

and it's really fun.

- All right.

The first thing I start doing is make these gumdrops.

The struggle was, when you try to paint them

with the brush, not everything got covered.

Oh, my goodness.

I realized this is gonna take me so long to do.

I grab a cup, roll it around in some paint,

slap some glitter on it,

and I have a new way to make a gumdrop.

This is gonna save me so much time and actually,

it looks pretty good!

- So this is what we're gonna make the alien out of, right?

- Yeah.

So the alien is kind of like

the masterpiece of the whole thing,

and his spaceship as well.

And then we're gonna have an,

"Have an out of this world Christmas" on it.

- So I'm gonna get sawing,

but you have to leave the adult machinery

to the adult elves.

- Thank you. - Put these on.

Safety first.

♪ ♪

- Oops. - It's--you know what?

If you have glitter everywhere,

that means you're doing something right.

- Okay.

I'm gonna make a star, a blue star,

that looks like a snowflake.

I'm thinking I dip it in glue

and then I dip it in glitter to make it shiny.

There! First ornament done.

- Yeah, girl!

- I wanted to do something that goes with

what I usually do.

- Yeah.

- It's just kind of hard when you're working with

foam and superglue.

- Yeah.

- And you can't use all like,

jigsaws and band saws and stuff.

My dad's been a woodworker since I was, like, two

and he's always just had a shop

that I pretty much grew up in.

Oh yeah, that's perfect.

- That looks really good.

- Wow!

- Fashion realness, coming through.

- I only have two hours left

to make the biggest card I've ever seen in my life.

I'm gonna make my picture have something to do with my card.

So I'm holding a ribbon in my picture

and I'm gonna have the ribbon go off the paper,

around my card, and then inside.

And then the ribbon is attached to a tag

that says "Happy Hopper Days,"

a play on "Happy Holidays."

You know? Get it?

No? Okay.

- S we can just spray it on. - Cool.

- And we're gonna throw some glitter on.

- Cool.

- And we're gonna use these gemstones around the window.

- And once we're done with all these letters

we gotta stick these in to make, um...

- How--how are we gonna do that?

How are we gonna stick them in?

- I think we should just jam them in,

or maybe get a little pencil

and do that jam and then we can hang 'em.

- Where are we gonna hang 'em? Where?

- On these trees.

- I can run and get-- [gasps]

Wow!

What are you?

- A magical candle-making machine.

- Obviously.

- All right.

- Hey, who am I?

Look at me. It's you.

- Nog's a little cuckoo sometimes.

[laughs] - That's pretty cool.

- Oh, we forgot about this basket back here.

- Since Cameron is the winner of our first

Fast Flurry Challenge, you'll have an advantage.

It's a basket with special supplies.

- I'm really glad I have an advantage for this challenge.

It's an extra basket that no one else has,

so most of my decorations were already in the basket

and that made me really happy because I don't think

I'll be able to make it work without it.

- All right, so now that we have our "World,"

we're ready to go.

So now I'm thinking, like,

what could really just tie this all together?

And just make it look like the best

alien Christmas card you've ever gotten.

- It's all coming together and it looks so cool!

- Justice... - Yeah?

- We accidentally spelled "World" wrong.

- O-R-L-D.

- So now I'm thinking, like,

how are you going to fix this in time?

'Cause it'll take too long to make

the exact same paint, blend...

[groans] What am I supposed to do?

♪ ♪

- Coming up on "Top Elf..."

- [shouting] - Oh, no!

- [groans] I'm really scared.

- Five... - [screams]

two...

- [squeals]

[bells chiming]

[magical music]

- Our elf-testants only have 30 minutes left

to create giant holiday cards

that represent what the holidays mean to them.

- O-R-L-D.

- We accidentally spelled, "World," wrong.

Oh, why don't we put, just to, um, kind of save some time...

- Okay.

- We can just put the world here.

Do you think it'll look weird?

- I think if we sell it, anything's possible.

- All right, let's do it. - Okay!

- Hello, Justice, Ginger. - Hi!

- It looks like things are going well.

Please keep working.

- Yeah, we spelled, "World" wrong by accident.

- It happens.

- Yeah, so we're gonna make a giant foam circle

and to kind of make it a bit easier on ourselves,

we're gonna just-- instead of writing it,

we're gonna have a giant world.

- I think that's even better.

- You don't mind getting

a little glitter on your head, right?

- Nope!

- I think it looks good without that,

because that would just take up a lot of space.

- Five minutes!

- Nothing like working right down to the wire, huh?

- [screams]

- So much to do. - Tell me about it.

I have to get some ribbon to tie the presents

and maybe I can add some glitter.

How about yellow glitter for a change?

- Yeah, just for a change.

- Because you never have enough glitter.

- All right, one, two, three.

- We need to have those gears cut out, like, right now.

- Okay.

- [groans] I'm really scared.

Hopefully I can get this done,

'cause if I don't, I could lose.

- Someone needs some coal.

They've been a bad boy.

- How's it looking on your side?

- Almost--almost there.

- So we took a giant foam cutout

and we painted it to look just like the earth,

and I think it came out better

than just having the word "World" spelt out.

- Um, Merry B. - Yeah, yeah?

- While I'm spraying, why don't you

just slap it on, so it can dry together.

- Okay, let's do this.

- I have a really cool idea

on getting some snow

and spray it under every word.

All right, start slapping it on.

And it's covering letters, it's getting messy.

I thought my design would look great,

but it turns out, it didn't really look good.

- You have one minute, elf-testants.

- Here, here, here, here.

- This separates the elves from the gnomes!

- Oh, no.

- Oh, my gosh this is so exciting.

- [whines] - Oh, no!

- We got it, we got it.

- Five... - [squeals]

- Four...

three...

two...

one!

[bells chiming]

[all cheering]

- We did it! [all cheering]

- Twinkle. - Twinkle.

- Sprinkle. - Sprinkle.

- Jingle. - Jingle.

both: Bam!

I'm proud of us. Yes, we did it!

- Elf-testants, Santa is on his way.

Please tidy up your stations.

- Oh, my God. - Oh--ha.

- Ho, ho, ho!

Whoa...

- Santa! [all cheering]

- Hi! - Look at this!

Wow...this is fantastic!

- Whoa, hey.

- Wow, look at all these cards.

- Alex, we are thrilled to have you here at the North Pole.

- What were some of your favorite gifts

that Santa left for you?

- Remember when you brought the Ninja Turtle

action figures to my house when I was little?

- Donatello is your favorite. - Yes!

[laughter] Yes.

Thank you so much for coming

all the way out here to the North Pole

to help us choose our Top Elf.

- Ooh, who's it gonna be?

- Yes...

[upbeat music]

- Hi, my name's Aiko. - Hello.

- This is my card. - Oh, my gosh.

- On the front, it's me going like this

because I celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas.

It's like, "Which do I choose?" on the front cover.

And then, when you open it up...

- Oh... - [chuckles]

- Look at this! - Wow!

- It's like, you don't have to choose.

- I love that.

- And then this snowman is lighting the last candle.

- Uh-huh.

- Um, these are chocolate coins.

Those are latkes, which are like fried

potato, hash brown things.

And these are, like, crepes.

- Making Santa hungry!

- Yeah--and then these are some Christmas cupcakes.

So this is my, um, holidays.

- Oh, my gosh, it's so creative.

- I'm feeling pretty confident about my design.

It doesn't close all the way,

'cause the table kind of sticks out,

but hopefully the judges can look past that.

- Well, Justice, what have we here?

- Well, this right here is my beautiful face.

- Look at that boy. - That's elf-confidence.

- And so this is where the real magic happens.

We have...

- Oh! - Look at this!

- The idea was that I wanted a card that you

wouldn't think you would see for a Christmas greeting card,

like an alien.

- Interesting...

- And so the reason I chose an alien out of all things,

was because me my uncle, we like to, you know,

go looking for aliens around Christmastime,

because you know, it's a luckier time.

So I--I wrote,

"Have an out of this world ex-mas."

But I actually spelled "World" wrong,

and I kind of covered it up,

you know, it's just a happy accident.

- I'm very impressed with the 3D aspect.

Everything's coming at us, like...

it's not just on the wall.

- Like, you would never see an alien greet you

to a Christmas card before, so I think they're gonna

like it 'cause it's out there and crazy.

- Hi, my name's Hopper.

For my card, you might be wondering,

"What is this mysterious ribbon?"

- Yeah.

- Well, um, if you open it right here,

you can see...

- [gasps]

- The ribbon comes around here

and attaches to this card

that says, "Happy Hopper Days."

It's a play on word for, "Happy Holidays."

- Oh...

- And then I have my snow globe

because every Christmas, we go skiing in Colorado.

That's me, my dad and my brother.

I would include my mom, but she doesn't ski.

She looks after my little sister.

- Aww.

- So which one is the falling one?

Is that you?

- [chuckles] - Yes.

I am a quite clumsy person.

- I would guess that your favorite color is...

- Pink? - Oh, I see that now!

- Pink is such a positive color and I think it represents me.

I think they liked my card.

- You did an amazing job.

- They liked the pink. Thank God.

- Hello, Briana. - Hello.

- This is my ginormous card that I made.

- Wonderful.

- The pose in this picture is one of my poses

that I love to do while ice skating.

- Fantastic.

- And, speaking of ice skating...

- [gasps] Oh!

- It says, "Have a magical holiday."

And my favorite animal in, like, the whole wide world

is a unicorn, so I was like,

what better to do than mix two things that I enjoy,

so I made a unicorn

ice skating on a runway of ice.

- Oh! - Look at this.

- And the other half of the card is the rest

of the snowy forest.

I'm feeling pretty good and I'm really proud of myself

and happy for the design that I made.

- Hello! - Hi!

I'm Allison.

- All right, what have we got here?

- Oh...

- [gasps]

- It's a window of me on the back.

- Oh, where's the front?

- The front is right here.

- Oh, yeah.

- So this is my house when it's getting decorated.

- Are these presents for me?

- Uh-huh, do you wanna open them?

- Yeah. - Can we?

- Look at this. - I can open it?

- Yeah. - Look at the glitter.

- Yeah, I love glitter.

I can't believe Alex Wassabi is next to me.

Like, oh, my God.

- There's something inside! - What is this?

- It is Santa clothes! My brother, when he was little,

he wanted to be Santa, so then he got Santa clothes.

See? - Look at that!

- I feel really proud of my creation,

because it's really pretty.

- Thank you, Allison. Here, take your present!

- My idea's out of the box and it just pops open,

like, "Whoa, my God!"

- Hey, Cameron. - Hey.

- Um, so, this is my card.

The front, I'm riding the little rocking deer

because I go to my grandpa's farm.

He has horses and I ride those.

Then the top is just little party animal,

New York type thing.

- Okay.

- And the reason I did that is...

I did "All is calm and all is bright,"

because this my grandpa's farm and he always has had this

one evergreen tree on the top of a hill,

and every year he just decorates it with one

strand of lights, so it's more calm and peaceful.

And then, for this side, I said, "All is bright,"

because I went to New York and in the Rockefeller Center.

My star was gonna be like my main thing.

I got my helper to use a jigsaw and cut out the star,

and then I put a bunch of lights in there

and had yellow paper behind it, so it gives it a warm glow.

- Oh, very smart. - Look at that.

- And I used my bonus as the nutcrackers

and all the bushes at the bottom of the tree.

So I'm overall happy with it,

but at the same time, I'm nervous.

- Hello, Hud. - Hey!

- Excuse me, Mr. Alex, you have to get that Christmas spirit...

- Thank you so much. - Look at that.

- I feel Christmassy already.

- So on the front of the card,

you have me rushing to the holidays,

and inside...

[all gasp] - Look at that!

- I had a good saying, "Goody, goody, gum drops.

Happy Holidays."

- Why is the "S" like that?

- Gum drops... and I thought the "S"

would be cool so it's dropping.

And so the stick man over here is holding all the gumdrops.

- Yes.

- He was putting them all on and then he lost his grip,

and now he's holding on for dear life.

- Is he going to be okay?

- Yes, ma'am, he is perfectly fine.

- Oh, okay.

- He's just trying to be dramatic for everything.

And so I would like you guys to grab an ornament

and put it anywhere on the tree you would like.

And then if you're hungry, you can have a little candy.

- I can hang this up on anywhere?

- Yes, sir. It has a little hook.

So that's my family's tradition.

I feel good about my card.

Maybe it's not exactly what I wanted.

- Definitely the most polite contestant we've met.

- Thank you, sir.

But still, it looks pretty good.

- You all did a magnificent job.

Know that!

And Ms. Claus and I will be displaying them

on our giant refrigerator.

- No, really. He has this huge refrigerator.

- It's massive. - [gasps]

- But now, we must decide who will make it

to the Nice List and, unfortunately,

who will go to the Naughty List.

[dramatic music]

- I'm, like really nervous.

- Elf-testants, why don't you take a much deserved break?

Let's get some cookies for these kids.

- I think we can all agree

that all of the elf-testants did a wonderful job.

- Yeah.

- So let's talk about some of the more successful designs.

Let's talk about Cameron's.

- It seemed very personal and close to his heart.

- And it was so elf-telligent

to have calm on one side, his grandfather's farm,

versus New York City.

- Yeah, it must've really stuck out to him when he went

to both those places and saw how different they were.

- Mm-hmm. - Yes.

Let's talk about Allison's card.

- Every time I thought that Allison's card

couldn't get better,

she broke out one elf-ditional stuff.

- It was quite magnificent, wasn't it?

- I couldn't get over how excited she was.

Anything she talked about she was like...

"We have this tree with these ornaments...

"and I made these ornaments and I put glitter on them

and they came out perfect!"

- What do you guys think about Briana?

- That unicorn was looking good.

- Everything was 3D.

She didn't stop at one 3D element.

She did everything on your list and then

she went back and she did it again.

- She checked it twice.

- She checked it twice, yes!

- Let's talk about Aiko.

- The way that Aiko brought

Hanukkah and Christmas together,

it just ended up coming out beautifully.

- Like she really explored what she was feeling...

- Mm-hmm.

- We like to celebrate all traditions.

But who are we thinking

is leaning toward the Naughty List?

- The designs that weren't quite as successful.

- Let's talk about Hud's card.

Very imaginative, but at the same time

a little confusing to the eye.

- There's a lot going on.

- But I think he had a lot of ideas.

I'm not sure if he was able to use his time

the best he could.

- Mm-hmm.

- Shall we discuss Hopper's card?

- I liked Hopper's card, how he incorporated

the front picture into his card.

- Wasn't that brilliant?

- However, it was a lot of one color,

maybe not enough space was filled

with the different design and building elements

that we really wanna hit.

- Yes, that's a good point.

- The one that really stuck out to me--

Justice's alien.

- Quite an original concept.

- It is.

- I can't see how that relates to holidays...

- Yes...

- And I loved how he made up for a hurdle.

They misspelled "World,"

but then he stepped back

and he thought, "How do I fix this?"

It was very, very elf-telligent,

what he did with that mistake.

- If I was judging just on creativity,

I would say this card is perfect.

- Mm-hmm.

- But again, we have to remember,

and it must be the four true gifts of elfhood.

- Yes, we must hold him to that standard.

They're here in the North Pole

and that is the standard we live by.

- So we agree?

We've made our final decisions?

- I think so.

- Alex, thank you so much

- You've all done a wonderful job creating holiday cheer,

but one of you exemplified the four gifts of elfhood

better than the rest.

- By winning the Golden Snowflake,

Allison, you are at the top of the Nice List.

- Hud, we loved that you had so many ideas,

but we just couldn't keep up.

There was a little bit too much going on.

Justice, we loved that you thought outside of the box,

but it was a little too much aliens

and just not enough about the holidays.

So Justice, Hud,

that means you are on the Naughty List.

- It's okay, it's okay, it's okay.

- You guys did great.

- That is what it's all about.

Elf-testants, remember, it's not over yet.

- The two of you are so talented,

I honestly wish that we could keep you both.

- But your holiday card designs didn't quite

hit the elf standard,

and so, unfortunately,

one of you will be going home tonight.

- So, like when I saw

me and Hud were on the Naughty List,

it definitely just caught me off guard.

That was probably the most nervous I've ever been.

- Since it is impossible to choose,

we're going to decide this with the toughest task

my elves ever have to do.

And that's assembling toys quickly.

- Under this box is one of the most

popular toys of all time.

You will each assemble as many of this toy as you can,

when they come down the Cringle Conveyor Belt.

Do you wanna see what's in the box?

- Yes, ma'am. - Yes.

- One of the all-time perfect toys.

Perfection in its simplicity.

Doesn't need batteries, no light bulbs to replace,

and you don't have to plug it in.

This sleigh runs on pure imagination.

- But, Santa, it does need to be assembled,

and that is where you two come in.

As the parts come down the Cringle Conveyor Belt,

you must assemble as many toy sleighs as you can

in just 90 seconds.

For the toys to count,

they must be assembled fully and correctly.

- Are you ready?

- Yes, sir. - Yes.

- Take your places.

- I feel really scared, even though I'm not playing.

- The elf-testant with the most assembled sleighs

will have earned their way back onto the Nice List.

- I'm definitely worried, but I came here to win.

- And the other will have to say good-bye

to the North Pole...for now.

- Justice is my friend,

but I am ready to go full hard out.

- Good luck to you both.

- Go Hud and Justice. I like both of them

and I don't want either one of them to go home.

I look back he has four, and then six, and then seven...

- You're both doing so well.

- That was definitely a struggle.

- Great job, elf-testants.

- I hope I did enough to survive to the next challenge.
