what an incredible guy Ridge is,

no. Brooke thinks

she's the paragon of perfection.

I mean, yes, Thomas has made
a lot of mistakes,

but she should be
praising her husband

for supporting his son,
not making him choose

between the two of them.

But all of the right people
ended up in the right place,

so it's time
to move on and forgive,

and that's something that Ridge
really wants Brooke to do.

Thomas,

I loved Thomas.

And I have forgiven him
for a lot of the things

that he did to my son.

what an extraordinary man he is.

And then came the famous night
at Bikini bar.

And then Flo,
when she gave her, you know,

kidney to Katie,
that's when he really

softened up,
which led us

to where we are now,
or were.

>> Quinn: You guys were really
going somewhere.

decided he wanted

to give it one last effort
to save his marriage.

>> Quinn: I'm so sorry.

>> Shauna: I admire him
for that. I do.

What baffles me is Brooke.

I mean being so stubborn,
to sabotage your marriage

to a man like that?

I have had
my fair share of guys,

as you know.

>> Quinn: Yes.

>> Shauna: And believe me
when I say they do not make them

like Ridge Forrester.

He is truly one of a kind.

>> Ridge: I--I realize
that you're wary of Thomas.

But Hope is not in danger.

Thomas is getting better
all the time. Look,

he signed away half his rights
to his son,

which I still don't know
what that means.

I thought you wanted Douglas

But I'm still wary of Thomas
and him being a part

all of his manipulations.

He did keep Beth from Hope,
and he manipulated Hope

into marriage.

And it was wrong.

And Thomas is aware of that,
too, but now please,

we got to move past that,
put this family back together,

and it starts with forgiveness.

there's forgiveness in there.

So why can't you share
just a little bit with Thomas?

fits the narrative

being close will allow me

to see the warning signs
before anything bad happens.

but I strongly object

to you working with Thomas

I just can't see it ending well.

I can't believe this is my life,

Now, I know
that you don't blame him

for that.

You don't blame Thomas
for anything.

Poor, misguided Thomas.

and it's twisted.

And it hurts me
that you don't see that.

He did wrong by my daughter.
