of control.

Both my brothers, two of them would stay

I was drinking, yeah.

I was drinking too much, and it caused
some friction between me

and his wife.

It feels like things were getting a
little bit out of control,

and when he passed, it's like you
recognized that, and you were like, oh,

God, I have to deal with some things
here.

And he showed me.

You have really taken your life in a
better direction since he's passed.

He's telling me that if he was here now
in physical form, he would be, like,

celebrating that with you. He'd be
really happy for you.

My other brother just happened to spend
time with him about a week before he

died and said that he was the happiest
he'd ever been in his life.

And it really hit me that I was nowhere
near that. You know, I was so far from

happy and fulfilled.

That really did cause me to reevaluate
my life, and I started making a lot of

changes in my life as a result of it.

There's almost like a sense that he's
sort of, I don't want to say taking

for it, but I feel that he is in a way
actually taking credit for it.

I give my brother a lot of credit for
the changes I made in my life.

So when Thomas told me that my brother
was proud of me, and that meant a lot to

me, just to know that he's happy and
makes me even more

determined to stay on the right track.

My brother, I mean, I'm going to be
honest.

I mean, my brother was physically and
emotionally and mentally abusive to me.

I was sort of meek and shy and quiet and

sensitive. I mean, it was awful.

I deal with this a lot lately. I'm like,
didn't people know?

Couldn't somebody have done something?

If I knew that maybe he had a mental
illness, I could better accept it. Maybe

think that it wasn't me, per se, but...

I definitely get mental illness with
him.

the easiest, closest target.

My whole life, one of the reasons I got
as far away as I could, it's caused the

weight issues.

I've never had a relationship.

It's affected that.

It's affected my confidence, and I never
had that high success.

on things now. Because I just feel like

him on the earth, his energy was like
blocking it.

release that.

I didn't have a brother like that, but

locking me in closets, throwing me in
cellars, you know, not beating me.

Total maniac. I mean, he beat us. I

Be honest with what happened, you know?
I think there's such an integrity to

that that, like, yeah, this happened to
me.

Rather than, like, trying to push it
away, I'm more just like, well, it's

of who I am, and I have to deal with
that.

But... Your parents and your brother,
they feel like you're on a good, a good

path. And I sense like they're around
you and they love you very much.

Oh, gosh, I've needed validation.

And you've just given that to me. I
mean, I am so floored by this. This has

the most amazing experience in my life.

I want to spend my life forgiving.

and just moving forward.

I deserve it. I deserve to be happy.

I want to enjoy what time I have left in
life. And I feel that there's been a

happened today is like the spirit world

looking out for me today.
