in lower Manhattan,

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead.

Breaking news right now.

Disgraced financier Jeffrey
Epstein has taken his own life

while he was behind bars
here in New York City.

It appeared that he had hung
himself in his cell within MCC.

But almost immediately,
the questions began.

Did Epstein
really commit suicide,

or was he murdered?

Why didn't the guards make
their normal rounds that night?

Why were the cameras outside
his cell not working?

Why was the crime scene
not preserved?

As more time passed,
more questions piled up.

Then in January 2026,
the DOJ began releasing

millions of documents,
what we all now know

as the Epstein files.

The Justice Department,
on Friday,

released more than three million
additional pages

related to the investigation

into convicted sex offender
Jeffrey Epstein.

The files revealed that
he wasn't just a well-connected

financial advisor
for the ultra-rich.

Epstein was an international
power player, a global fixer

who would have made
an excellent asset

for a variety of state
and non-state actors,

including
intelligence agencies.

His emails show him talking
about coups, arms trade,

and insider deals
worth millions,

brokering introductions

to and for
the absolute elite of elite.

And of course, he was one
of the world's most notorious

sex traffickers, who supplied
young women and girls

to a long list
of powerful people,

people who had every reason
to hope that he would never get

a chance to speak in court,

which is why this conspiracy
theory has lived on

since his death.

Jeffrey Epstein
didn't kill himself.

Epstein didn't kill himself.

Did Jeffrey Epstein
hang himself

or did somebody kill him?

Senator, I believe he hung
himself in a cell

in the Metropolitan
Detention Center.

- He didn't kill himself.
- No.

- He was murdered in his cell.
- Yeah.

It's the most secure federal
lockup in the United States.

How can that happen?

To pressure-test
conspiracy theories

around Epstein's death,

of Jeffrey Epstein's cell...

I do know the last day
that I watched Jeffrey Epstein,

he really looked depressed.

I track down
an internet sleuth

with shocking new details
he discovered

in cell-block footage.

They say that
that's what that orange blob is,

but I can prove
to you that is not the case.

Then I'll bring in one
of the top podcasters

in the country
who reveals another wild theory.

If you were to fake his death,
you'd get a body-double

and make sure that everyone

could see it,
including the press.

And we'll meet with a leading
forensic pathologist

to help put
all the pieces together.

Have I seen multiple fractures
in these structures?

Yes-- have I seen
it in hanging?
No.

To answer the question,
what really happened

to Jeffrey Epstein
in the early morning hours

of August 10th, 2019?

In early July 2019,
Jeffrey Epstein was arrested

on federal sex trafficking
and conspiracy charges

involving dozens
of underage victims.

Facing up to 45 years
in prison,

Epstein was sent here,

the Metropolitan
Correctional Center,

as he awaited trial.

But less than a month
after his arrest,

he would be found
dead in a cell.

This is the final report
into Epstein's death

written by the Department
of Justice.

It says that at 6:33 AM,
guards found Epstein's body

unresponsive in his cell,
hanged

in a near-seated position

with one end
of an orange cloth tied

around his neck

and the other tied to
the top portion of a bunk bed.

You can hate Jeffrey Epstein
all you want.

You can hate the atrocities
that he committed,

but you still have
to respect the truth.

You still have to seek out
the answers that are factual.

To cut through the noise,
I'm reaching out

to a forensic psychologist

with a deep knowledge
of the Epstein files.

Dr. JP Garrison has testified
in courts in hundreds of cases

as an expert witness
and is known

for his popular YouTube channel.

He has poured
over thousands of documents

and watched every second
of video footage

released by the DOJ,

which is why
I'm turning to him

to poke holes
in the official story.

Yeah, this has been
a huge mystery for everybody.

I've been invested in this
since 2019,

back when it happened,

and I'm still tens
of thousands,

if not over 100,000
documents deep

into figuring out
exactly what happened.

When you look
at the Epstein death,

what do you see?

In the report
by the Department of Justice,

there's so many things about it
that are factually incorrect--

and ones that I can prove today,

are not the explanation
that the OIG gave.

This is the SHU,
the special housing unit

where Jeffrey Epstein
was housed.

Now, this is the very minimal
camera footage that we have

from the final night
of Jeffrey Epstein in prison.

This prison
has cameras everywhere,

but it just so happens

that this is the only one

that was actually functional
that night.

And do we know
on this picture screen

where Epstein's cell is?

It's almost directly
in the middle there.

The stairs leading up to what's
called L-Tier

are right there.

And that's right next
to a desk here.

This is where
the two correctional officers

that were
there that night--

correctional officer
Michael Thomas

and correctional officer
Tova Noel, worked.

We'll let this play.

You can see a little bit
of movement around that desk.

That is correctional officer
Tova Noel.

You're going to see her get up
and walk off of the screen.

Now, if you watch closely
right here,

you're about to see what
appears to be

somebody walking up the stairs.

To me, that looks like somebody
in an orange outfit

walking up the stairs.

It could be anybody.

We have no way to know
who it is.

We know that it's somebody
in a jumpsuit, though,

and we know that it's
not a correctional officer,

because then maybe
in about 30 seconds,

we're actually gonna see

correctional officer Tova Noel
walk back into frame,

and we don't see coming
down the stairs.

She's walking the same way
she did when she left frame.

Wow.

It was very clear
that the correctional officer

stepped away from the desk...

in a direction away
from the stairwell

to the special housing unit.

An orange color of some sort

that is suspiciously similar
to a jumpsuit

went up the stairs at a time

when no correctional officer
was present.

Now, what the OIG has said
very clearly in the report is

that at 10:40, they believe

that correctional officer
Tova Noel carried up

linens or shirts
up to that tier.

But we know for a fact
that is not the case.

This is the OIG's office
actually interviewing

officer Tova Noel,
who we saw on that video.

So DOJ asks,

"OK, why did Epstein
have extra clothing

and extra linen in his cell?"

Ms. Noel says, "I don't know."

The DOJ asks, "You said that

that was something
that you did though,

as far as your duties."

Ms. Noel says,
"I never gave out linen-- ever,

because that's done
on the shift prior."

So that explanation makes
no sense by their own interview.

I mean, these are
some glaring contradictions.

A figure in inmate-orange
is seen going up the stairs

at a time of night
when prisoners are supposed

to be locked down
in their cells

and no one
is seen coming down all night.

But one of the most suspicious
pieces of evidence

is something that actually
happened the next day.

Now, what you're seeing
right here,

this is the tier where
Jeffrey Epstein was housed.

He would have been
the last room on the left.

On the night of August 11th,
the prison cameras

that were reported
to be malfunctioning

the days leading up
to Epstein's death

started recording again.

And the stairwell
to Jeffrey Epstein

is actually on the left side
of the screen here going up.

That's correct.
There's a guard standing

right next to the staircase that
would be leading up to L-Tier.

Now, had these cameras
been functioning,

we would have gotten
a great shot of whoever it is

that walked into the tier
at that time.

The fact that we have this clip
in L-Tier on August 11th,

but they just happen to be down
the day he died,

is a giant red flag.

There are just so many
aspects to this that don't

make any sense.

There are a wide variety
of reasons I just don't think

it's possible
that the man killed himself.

The fact that either an inmate,

someone wanting to look
like an inmate,

or someone carrying orange
linens walked up that staircase

to L-Tier when Officer Noel
had left the guard station

supports the murder theory.

But also, the supposed
gold-standard report

from the Office
of the Inspector General

is flawed.

There were glaring holes

not just
in the technical surveillance,

but also in the fact that guards

were not following
standard policy

and they were lying about it.

I actually have
a New York Post reporter

who's dug deep
into one of the guards

that was on duty
the night that Epstein died.

But before I talk to her,
I want to talk to somebody

who was actually in the prison
with Epstein himself.

Someone who can tell me
if Epstein was showing any

of the signs of somebody
in a fragile state of mind

contemplating suicide.

So I've tracked down a former
inmate who lived in a cell

just like this
in the same prison block

at the same time
as Jeffrey Epstein.

into the mysterious death
of Jeffrey Epstein is to try

and understand
his state of mind.

with somebody

who had personal contact
with Epstein in prison,

somebody who was actually

serving time
in the same prison system

and who was with Epstein
in his final days.

So I've got some interesting
stuff to show you,

and I'm hoping that you'll have
some interesting stuff that

you can share with me, too.
- Oh, I'm sure I will.

This is us, sir.

Bill Mersey didn't just read

about Jeffrey Epstein's
final days,

he lived them.

As a fellow inmate

at the Metropolitan
Correctional Center,

if anyone knows
if Epstein wanted

to kill himself, it's Bill.

What was it like there?

How would you describe
conditions in MCC?

It was a bad facility.

It was on its way out,
and everybody knew it.

I mean, when I was designated
there and I Googled it,

I saw that it was called

the Guantanamo of New York City.

I was like, "Oh, my God,
where are they sending me?"

The MCC has seen its share of
famous inmates,

from John Gotti

to El Chapo to Bernie Madoff.

Mersey was there finishing out
a year sentence for tax fraud.

Nobody wanted to work there.

Some of the officers
were coming from Pennsylvania

and working triples.

Those guys weren't really ready
for prime time.

One time, the feds brought
in some overseers

to observe the prison,

and a lot of the officers
would talk to me,

and one guy told me,
he says,

"It's a total
systemic breakdown.

This is the worst facility
I've ever monitored."

Wow.

Jeffrey Epstein entered
the MCC on July 6, 2019.

Then, on July 23,
just 18 days before his death,

Epstein was found unconscious
on the floor of his cell

with marks on his neck.

Here's what's interesting.

He claimed his cellmate,
a former police officer

convicted of murdering
four people, attacked him.

But curiously, Epstein walked
that claim back,

saying he didn't know
what had happened.

After that incident,
he was placed on suicide watch,

with Mersey assigned as
Epstein's suicide watch monitor.

And I watched him
the next night, and I said,

"So Jeffrey, what happened?"

And he said,

"Uh, I don't know.

I got up to get a drink of water
and that's all I remember."

And I looked at him
like, "Come on."

You know, I've been talking
to you for hours

and you haven't
lied to me once.

And now I know
you're lying to me.

As Epstein's companion,
Mersey spent long stretches

with him every day,
sometimes four or as many

as eight hours a day.

What were your observations
of Jeffrey Epstein

when you first met him?

First of all, he did
not strike me as entitled.

He seemed
like a fairly average individual

who I grew up with.

He didn't strike me
as exceptionally intelligent.

I mean, obviously
he had a side that was really

kind of creepy and repulsive.

But he didn't show it with me.

And how did that change
over time?

Did his demeanor change?
Did his behaviors change?

I do know the last day
that I watched Jeffrey Epstein,

he really looked depressed.

He was sitting on the floor
eating his chicken dinner

out of a Styrofoam container.

And then he said,
"Mersey, do you need any money?"

So I said, "I could always use
money from a billionaire.

That's a ridiculous question."

He says,
"Well, give me your reg number.

You know, I'll put some money
on your books."

I was like, "Wow."
This sounds very final.

So, I mean, it's clear to me
that you saw something

in Jeffrey Epstein
that not many people got to see.

- Oh, absolutely.
- And then he was released

out of the suicide watch unit
and back into the SHU.

They let Jeffrey Epstein alone
in a cell when he had already

had suicidal ideations.

Why would you leave
a guy alone?

Do you believe
that Jeffrey Epstein

could have been murdered?

No.

Why not?

Well, so difficult to get
in and out of that prison

and involving
so many co-conspirators

that would have broken down
on their interrogation.

- I'm sure you're aware...
- Yeah.

...but there are multiple
conspiracy theories out there.

Oh, absolutely.

I mean, clearly there
were a lot of people who wanted

Jeffrey Epstein dead
at that point.

If you'll just follow me
over here,

I had a mock-up made

of an MCC special housing
unit cell,

specifically
Jeffrey Epstein's cell,

cell number 220.

- Oh, terrific.
- You ready to see
the other side?

Yes, sir.

Oh, just like my old home.

Looks pretty realistic.

That's fairly accurate.

You know, actually, my cell,
it had that kind of window

right there,
and my head was here.

We didn't have a ladder,
but there was--

what there was,
was a post here

so that you could hang a sheet.
This doesn't have that.

Hm.

The evidence in this case
is often murky.

The only photos
of Epstein's death scene

were taken hours later,

after the room
had been rearranged.

But the guard who found him
said he discovered Epstein

hanging in this corner,
suspended from a piece of sheet

tied to another piece of sheet.

He says it wasn't just
a singular piece.

So basically he says he ripped
the sheet

and then he
plopped down afterwards.

So for the purposes
of our investigation,

we're going to assume
he was hanging from this hole

in the bed frame,
circled here by the FBI.

We actually modeled this off
of images that were published

after Epstein's death

with the Department
of Justice report.

Oh.

It's missing, this extra post

that you're talking about.
It doesn't exist at all.

And where we believe
that Epstein

tried to hang himself

is this orange piece
of fabric right there

coming out of that hole.

I don't know.
It looks pretty low.

I don't know that
you could generate the kind

of acceleration you would need

to snap your neck

if that's where he tied up
the sheets.

I always assumed he did
something from here where,

again,
there was a stem sticking up.

He tied himself up,
he did the distances,

and he just raised himself up.

And jumped off,

and then,
before he hit the floor,

he got yanked in the neck,
and that generated enough force

to kill him.
That was my assumption.

I just...

It seems like
there's not a lot of leeway.

If you got to jump
off and that's your--

like, your fulcrum point,

you'd have to be
extremely exact.

You really did a lot
of mathematical calculations

to get the job done.

I wanted to do this once
and for all with finality...

Why wouldn't you do it
on the window?

Which gives you more space.

If you can tear these fabrics,
if they're not, in fact,

tear-proof, and you have
an unlimited amount of them,

you could do anything.

Yeah, it would make sense
to do it from the window.

What are you feeling, Billy?
What are you thinking?

There are
some unanswered questions.

I grant you that.

But it doesn't mean
that Jeffrey Epstein

didn't kill himself.

But, I mean, you've sort
of opened the door with me

that there's a possibility
that he was murdered.

So if murder
is a likelier possibility,

could an inmate have done
it with help from a guard?

It's not an implausible theory.

Jeffrey Epstein
wasn't just any person, right?

He was friends with
some of the most powerful,

wealthy people in the world.

So if I was approached
by a Saudi prince,

or a president,
or a European billionaire,

and they offered me
a chance to carry out

one crime in a prison

where I was already convicted,
and in exchange for that,

they'd take care of my family
on the other side?

They'd take care of me
when I get out?

And my suspicions grew
when I dug for more background

from New York Post reporter
Gabrielle Fahmy,

who's been poring over
evidence from the latest drop

of files from the DOJ.

Remember the guard on duty
night Epstein died?

Back in 2019,

MCC guard Tova Noel
and another guard

were accused of falsifying
prison logs to make it appear

that they conducted bed checks
on Epstein's cell block

throughout the night.
Both were fired.

Federal charges were filed
and then later dropped

after they agreed to cooperate
with the investigation.

But now new reporting
from The New York Post

has uncovered a twist
in her story.

The FBI pulled up
the search history

from the computer she was using
that night at the prison.

We found that she was Googling
"Latest on Epstein in jail"

twice within a 10-minute span
and just about 45 minutes

before they found his body.

So I found
that really interesting.

Did she have any explanation
for why she was making

that search happen
at that time?
- No.

And that's what's interesting,

because
in that 400-page transcript

of her interview with the DOJ,

the inspectors
asked her several times,

and she just
completely denied it.

- Wow.
- So that was one thing.

And then the other thing
was that we found that her bank

had flagged multiple
cash deposits

to her account
that they found suspicious

to the FBI.

What do you know
about the cash deposits?

So that was flagged
by Chase Bank in November 2019.

They said there were
12 cash deposits

starting before Epstein
arrived in jail,

which was in July 2019.

And what we found was that
last deposit is kind

of the more interesting one,
in my opinion,

which was made on July 30th,

a few days before Epstein
was found dead.

Yeah, the timing here,
the amounts,

the cash nature of the deposits.

I think there's more
to the story,

and the public, you know,
needs to know.

Noel was never questioned
by the FBI

about the deposits,

and she's denied all
involvement in Epstein's death,

blaming her actions that night

on the jail's chaotic
environment

and lack of proper training.

Coming up, we pressure-test
the suicide theory

with a podcaster who has gone
deep on this story from day one.

We can literally recreate

the hanging of a guy
around his size

to see if this would even work.

Wow.

The more I look into
the circumstances

surrounding Epstein's death,

the more suspicious I become
of the official explanation.

But one of the things
they teach us at CIA

is not to carry out
an investigation alone,

because the fastest way

to the wrong answer
is very often to fall in love

with your own theory.

So what I need is
a second person to come along

and pressure-test the idea that
it was even physically possible

for Epstein to kill himself
in his cell.

Do the mechanics add up?

And I think I know
just the guy.

those final days were.

You got a guy who's just been
taken off suicide watch

in what is supposedly

one of the most secure
federal institutions

in America.
Huge air quotes there.

And conveniently,
in this secure institution,

the cameras aren't working,
the guards fall asleep,

and nobody's checking on him?

Now, we allegedly know a lot
about what happened

and what didn't happen
outside the cell,

but after all these years,

no one has been able to provide
me with a coherent narrative

of what happened
inside the cell that night.

So...

when you hear the name
Jeffrey Epstein,

what comes to mind?

He's on
a whole different level.

I would call him a sociopath.

A sociopath has
an incredible will to survive.

They never struggle
with self doubt.

They never struggle
with a guilty conscience.

They never struggle
with the repercussions

of their actions
or their decisions.
- Yes.

- They are the cockroach, right?
- Yes.

You ever seen the movie
"Primal Fear"

with Edward Norton?
- Yeah.

It's about a sociopath
who plays

a fawning, feeble
character sitting in prison

for some awful crime
that he's going on trial for,

and he could have never
done it,

'cause he's so scared.

Aaron.

What?

What-- what were you saying?

But he's just got multiple
personalities,

'cause he's
a complete sociopath,

and he's a demon inside.

This is gonna [bleep]
everything up, Marty.

Don't you show that
to a goddamn person!

Do you understand me?

Sociopaths are great actors.
This guy was a survivor.

That is the story of his life.

Every time he should have been
killed off figuratively

or literally, he lived on
and got more powerful.

So is there a possibility
that he killed himself?

Yes.
Do I think he did?

No-- but I have to be open
to all possibilities.

Today is one of those days

that if we do this together,
I think we're gonna have

some pretty
incredible breakthroughs.

You ready to take a look?

When Epstein was taken off
suicide watch,

he landed back here
in the special housing unit

in a cell just 15 feet
from the guard station.

Welcome
to Epstein's final home.

Mm.

What we believe is that
from this piece of fabric,

hand-ripped from the many other
fabrics that he had,

this is what was attached
to a separate piece of fabric

that was a noose,
and that this is

where he actually hung himself.

You understand when someone
wants to hang themselves,

they do it from a ceiling fan
or something like that,

where they kick out the chair
and they're done.

But when you are hanging
yourself where your feet

are still on the ground,

I don't know how you can
mentally process to not have

the natural evolutionary
biological instincts

of the will to survive
not kick in.

Meaning,
put your feet underneath you

and stand up again.

That... and break your hyoid
bone in the process?

Epstein's hyoid bone,

a small, delicate bone
in the throat,

was fractured,
and the thyroid cartilage

that forms the Adam's apple
was also broken.

So he must have created
enough force from somewhere

for those bones to break.

Now, when we created
this mock up,

it is to scale.

So we can literally recreate
the hanging of a six-foot,

180-pound man,

to see if this
would even work.

You game for that?

No.
I'm 6'1", but no.

I don't need you.
I have a dummy

to stand in for Epstein.

Want to hand me
that piece of fabric

that's hanging right there?

Thank you.

The other thing is the noose
has to be long enough...

that he can sit up here.

So I'm gonna give us
a square knot.

And if our Epstein...

could successfully keep
a short enough noose here,

and also long enough...

to be up here...

...he's on the ground.

This doesn't
just look difficult.

When you break it down
mechanically,

the math
is just as problematic.

He would have to have landed--

Like that,
which means it would have had

to be way tighter

to-- to get in that spot.
- Mm-hmm.

For Epstein
to be found suspended

an inch or so off the ground,

the sheet he was hanging from
would have had

to been around a foot
and a half long,

making it nearly

impossible for him
to be able to swing

from the top of the bunk.

The next question is,
do Epstein's broken bones

actually match what could have
happened inside the cell?

For that,
we need to bring in someone

with serious
medical expertise.

There's irregularities.

Irregularities
that I can't just dismiss.

You and I are landing on a lot
of the same key points,

the same anchor points,
but I'm also noticing

that you and I don't have
the knowledge depth

of and human physiology
to be able to come

to any meaningful conclusions
on our own.

So I've asked someone to join us
that I think will help shed

some light on that.

- So let me bring her in.

Meet Dr. Priya Banerjee.

She's the final piece
of my investigative team.

- Dr. Banerjee, thank you
so much for coming.
- Thank you.

Dr. Banerjee
is a forensic pathologist

and former state medical
examiner

for the state of Maryland.

And she specializes
in homicides, cold cases,

and has worked multiple deaths
that happened

inside jails and prisons.

She should be able to help us

answer whether
Jeffrey Epstein's injuries are

consistent
with suicide by hanging.

- So if you'll come
this way, Dr. Banerjee.
- Yes, OK.

Report said that there
was a noose around his neck

and then a separate fabric
that was tied to the top part

of the bunk.

I explained to Dr. Banerjee
how difficult it is to square

the official account
with a coherent narrative

of how he died.

So, there's just so many
questions that I have

that give me a lot of pause.

After viewing
how Epstein's body was found,

Dr. Banerjee is ready to walk us
through her findings

about his injuries.

It's a very complicated case.

Maybe we can look at a model
I brought with me?

- Please.
- Sure.

At the center
of her unanswered questions are

the injuries to Epstein's neck.

OK, so we have
the left hyoid bone fracture

and both of the thyroid
cartilage is fractured.

Now what's unusual
is this many fractures.

Usually you can have a fracture
just under one point

of pressure, but in my career,

I have not seen
bilateral hyoid bone fractures.

And I've done
over 3000 autopsies.

I have seen it
in like manual strangulation,

ligature strangulation.

What you've seen
in manual strangulation?

- Yep, manual strangulation.
- Meaning somebody's hands.

Somebody whose hands-- correct.

So when we're talking
about asphyxia,

there's many ways of cutting off
oxygen to the brain.

Like, have I seen multiple
fractures in these structures?

Yes.
Have I seen it in hanging?

No.

That doesn't mean
it can't occur,

but that's where my red flags
come up in this case.

Dr. Banerjee isn't the only
forensic pathologist

who believes that Epstein's
internal neck injuries are

crucial pieces of evidence

that this may not have
been a suicide.

Dr. Michael Baden,
the former New York City

medical examiner,
has investigated some

of the most high-profile deaths
in the country,

including the assassinations
of John F. Kennedy

and Martin Luther King Jr.

He was hired
by Epstein's brother

to observe the autopsy

and conduct an independent
forensic investigation.

I think that the evidence
points toward homicide

rather than suicide.
- Why?

Because hanging does not cause
these broken bones

and a homicide does.

Usually two bones, even three,

is a huge amount of pressure
was applied.

What's also catching
Dr. Banerjee's attention are

Epstein's external injuries,
the wounds on his neck.

In many hangings,
the ligature tightens

and shifts towards
the suspension point,

leaving an angled pressure mark
that follows the path

of the fabric.

But Epstein's wounds
are in the middle

of his neck and horizontal.

I'm also concerned
about the mark on the back

of the neck,
the contusion, the bruise.

That doesn't seem as plausible
with the ligature

around the neck.
I don't usually see it there.

Dr. Banerjee also has questions

about the distribution
of his injuries.

The front of his neck is
bloodied,

but in the back,

there's just bruising.

The back of the neck,
where there's deep hemorrhage,

there's no pressure mark,

there's nothing on the skin.
That's weird.

Dr. Banerjee has me asking
the million-dollar question.

Epstein may have been
found hanging,

but could he have died
another way?

What if these injuries weren't
caused by a noose tightening

from above, but by a force

pulling straight back
from behind him?

That could explain why there's
a friction mark in front,

where fabric was pressing hard
into his skin,

and deeper bruising in the back
from pressure applied

in the opposite direction.

It's not proof of anything,

but it's another detail that
doesn't perfectly fit

the official explanation.

There was a second pathologist
who reviewed it privately,

Dr. Michael Baden.

In some ways I'm an in-between
those two pathologists,

which is why I'm still settling
on undetermined,

which is a difference in opinion
from the original autopsy.

You know, I have concerns
that take me out of the suicide

and consider homicide,
but I haven't slam dunked

into the homicide either.

I mean, Dr. Banerjee,
this has been

fantastically helpful.

it was a collaborative effort
with help inside the prison,

there was a legit blind spot
right there

that any unwitting guard
wouldn't know what's going on.

if this wall was in the prison.

He said some cells had it,
some cells didn't.

Billy said it had a vent up here

and a second vent down
there towards the bottom.

That meant there was no purpose
for that wall except ductwork.

Did the figure in orange
leave L-Tier with Epstein

and help facilitate some kind
of covert exfiltration?

It's a seemingly
improbable theory,

but one even a former colleague
at CIA can't rule out.

I asked John Kiriakou
if you were to fake his death,

if he were put in charge of it,
how would he do it?

You would take out the body
in full view of everybody,

whether it's a body double.

Let as many people as possible
see this body.

What happened?

That's exactly what they did.

Oh my God.

So I started this whole journey

just trying to answer the
question

of if he killed himself
or if somebody killed him.

But the probabilities
have expanded

to a third potentially
realistic option.

The cover-up's always
worse the crime,

and it's always executed worse
than the crime.

Like, they're not creating one
open loop for you to question,

they are creating a million,
and as you start adding

those threads,

the probabilities of the answer
being something normal,

meaning, like,
"Yeah, he killed himself,"

get closer and closer to zero.

And at some point,
they do cross that threshold

where it is now
mathematically zero,

and I cross
that threshold on that.

So where does
all of this leave us?

In intelligence work,
we're taught to think

in probabilities,

but every new anomaly
in this case sends us

spinning off
in a new direction.

Jeffrey Epstein has taken
his own life

while he was behind bars.

The official story
was a suicide,

but when you stack that up
with surveillance failures,

broken protocols,

and unanswered forensic
questions,

that explanation
starts to feel less probable.

So then you have to consider
the next possibility-- murder.

Based on my investigation,
we found that this is

at least plausible.

There was certainly motive,
there was ample opportunity,

and there were more
than enough holes

in the official explanation

to make this theory
impossible to ignore.

But this case is so full
of contradictions

that it actually leads
to a third possibility,

that Jeffrey Epstein
may still be alive.

He's alive.

- Yeah.
- That's in the files.

He's been alive.

It's in the files
that he's alive?

The idea that Epstein was
taken out of MCC alive

may sound far-fetched.

But online, people have claimed
to spot him alive and well

in multiple countries,
including Israel.

No doubt in my mind,

that is 1,000% Jeffrey Epstein.

In my experience at CIA,
we often carried out

these types
of clandestine exfiltrations

as part of our core system
of covert operations.

But there's no verifiable
evidence to support

these claims in this case.

So it's my conclusion
that it's improbable,

though not impossible,

that Jeffrey Epstein
is still alive.

But the fact that this claim
won't go away speaks

to something deeper.

There are just so many aspects

to this that don't make
any sense.

When a case this high-profile
doesn't end in clarity,

intelligence professionals see
it as a warning flag,

not just as a failure
of accountability,

but as the signs
of a failing system.

It's the most secure federal
lockup in the United States.

How can that happen?

And that's the real lesson here.

Those in power know

that when you stop pushing
for the real story,

you begin
to accept the narrative.

And the truth...

becomes optional.
