I know there are already a
lot of rumors flying around,

so I just want to help
put those puppies to bed

as best as I can, right here and now.

During the mixer last night

some of you decided to mosey
on into a restricted area.

And of course there was an incident.

As a result a camper,
Gabriel, has now gone missing.

I want to use this

as an opportunity to remind everybody

to stay out of off-limits areas,

not only for your own safety

but for the safety of
those, obviously around you.

Off-limits areas are
off limits for a reason.

While we as staff are undoubtedly here

to help you all with your abilities,

you, for God's sakes,
have to help us help you.

Yes, Paul?

- I have several questions.

- How exactly are you going
to help us with our powers?

Why has nobody shown us
the Object Room before?

Why were there no warning signs?

What are the objects?

What was the incident?

not here at the camp?

- You'll see.

It's supposed to be a secret.

They're a collection of supernatural items

with unpredictable effects.

We've taken it upon
ourselves to keep them safe.

That came with the place.

We're not really quite sure what happened,

but as I said before,

off-limits areas are
off limits for a reason.

And,

all we know at this moment
is that Gabriel is gone.

(crowd whispering)

- You can't be serious?

- Allie, would you like to
get something off your chest?

- Gone?

Gabe could be dead,

and you won't tell us anything of use.

And you expect us to trust you?

Trust that you'll keep
everyone out of harm's way?

Seems to me, like you are more interested

in keeping your stupid objects safe

than in giving a shit about Gabe.

(water splashing)

If I stay here, I'm gonna
be a walking tidal wave.

And that's the last thing that you want.

(menacing music)

- A little more care
and attention from you.

And implying that someone who
only recently went missing

might be dead, isn't going

This camp is a safe place,

and I need the people who are staying here

to believe that too.

- Where are you going?

- Uh, I've got class.

I think it's a class or something.

- Warren pulls you aside

and you immediately
believe everything he says.

What about everything he's not saying?

- He says they're gonna help us,

and I think I believe them.

They've had powers for
a lot longer than us.

- I don't believe.

- Okay.

Well, I don't know how me changing objects

into a mangled mess is gonna help Gabe.

There's a big part of me

that thinks we should give this a shot.

- If we can figure out our abilities,

we can use them to help get Gabe back.

We should focus on that.

- How can we help Gabe at all?

I just have this awful feeling.

- He's gotta be around somewhere.

- They're gonna force us to stick around,
