It stands to reason that's

eliminate any connection.

But no murder weapon was found,

and before she could
have gotten rid of it,

Henry apprehended her.

She could have thrown
it down a sewer grate.

the murders is less direct.

Someone may have assumed

that Mr. Pears was responsible
