superstars of the World Wrestling

Federation can deliver. And by we have

some most unusual individuals on this

week. We're dealing with adorable Adrien

Adonis, George the Animal Steel. Talk

about two more unorthodox people than

water for sure. And some of the super

heavyweights joining us, your protege,

one of your proteges, King Kong Bundy.

King Kong Bundy almost 480 pounds.

Our feature match again. He's going to

be tested to the limit with Mr. USA Tony

Atlas. No question in my mind about

that. Tony Atlas is used to working out

in the gym. He's not used to working out

with a man of this size.

Well, Tony Atlas, I'm sure, will try to

press slam anybody that he can get his

hands on, including King Kong Bundy. Let

me ask you something. A lot of fans are

asking me,

the $15,000 slam thing that John Stud

has going for him, does that apply to

Bundy as well?

Well, I uh

You're very ambiguous about your answer.

well, you can't wrestle when you're in

there with George Steel. You have to

fight fire with fire. Steel pulled

something out of his trunks and used it

on Adonis. What's Adonis supposed to do?

Go for a top wrist. Well, what did

Adonis do right at the onset of the

match? He took one of those scarves and

wrapped it around the neck of the

animal.

Here, look. He's got something. He's got

Provocation.

Caught Adrien again with it. Adrien

backwards over that top rope. Lucky for

him, the apron was there and the ramp.

And George got some kind of a shiny

object in his right hand.

Oh no, that was the bow in Adrien's

What a miscarriage of justice.

threw chairs in the ring. He used a

steel rail. He pulled something out of

his trunks and he was beaten by

wrestling.

that the only thing you wanted to see?

Let's go forget the official word. The

winner of the match, the adorable Adrien

Adrien Adonis can consider himself very

fortunate here as he scoops underneath.

Adrien submitted. But you didn't see

heard the referee ask him, "Does it

here in Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens.

But nevertheless, on to victory.

for his life, and he wasn't thinking

about it too much, I'm sure.

use your brains.

about to take a look at a very

sensational tag team match from Canada,

Bobby. Two of the I think the most

upcoming youngsters and brother team,

which is very unusual in the ranks of

professional wrestling. I'm talking

about the Roujo brothers.

Well, you know, over my travels over the

years, everybody's talked about the

Roujo throughout Canada, throughout

Europe, all over the world. They're

supposed to be the fastest team, one of

the only brothers team in professional

wrestling.

Just a question until they made it down

here. Right now, let's go down to the

match with Hercules Hernandez and Mr.

Gibbs.

Weighing 242 lbs, Terry Gibbs,

his partner from Florida, weighing 255

lbs, Hercules Hernandez.

Their

opponents now about to approach the ring

area from Montreal, Quebec. With a

combined weight of 484

lbs, Jacques and Raymond, the Roujo

Brothers.

Ramon, the Rujo brothers.

Usually he doesn't let the uh Herk

wander around on his own, does he?

Well, you never know. He might be with

Volkov and the chic.

You never know what he's up to.

Oh, I believe Fred has a good control of

his faculties.

This Hernandez, what a powerhouse this

You know, you talk sometimes about Jimmy

Jack Funk being off the wall.

He's missing a few jacks and queens and

kings, I think.

I don't even think he knows what suit it

job and bringing the greatest wrestling

Looks to me like he's doing quite well.

He's got diamonds. He dresses nice.

you come from Russia or you're you're

one of those people that just have lived

in poverty all your life, you don't

World Wrestling Federation, Hercules

Hernandez, he put together.

I wonder if he chose Gibbs for a partner

or Gibbs chose him or exactly how that

worked.

which is I 24 hours a day, but I take

movie stars, head of producers in

California, these big movie industries,

people with the networks, psychiatrists,

psych. No, I don't associate with

psychologist.

Not there's nothing wrong with

psychiatrist, but like

I lay on a couch all day and pour out my

problems to him.

Someone said that you resemble that

remark.

I have no mental trouble.

I think was big John stud. Oh, nicely

frog right over the top and runs right

into Raymon with a roundhouse. Now the

tag is made. They're both in there.

Unloading on Hercules. In comes Terry

Gibbs and gets drop kick for his

trouble. The Roujo brothers have cleared

the ring.

Sure. It took two of them to do it.

Well, it's a tag team matches, too.

But they're not both supposed to be in

that ring.

They were pushing Gibbs around

on the other side. They're not supposed

to both be out of the ring.

Well, this we might as well call it the

not supposed to match.

Well, you might say that.

Hercules carrying on some kind of an

intelligent conversation with our

ringiders. I doubt it if that's

possible.

Was no tag made there, ref.

Raymond in there now with Hercules

Hernandez. Her says, "Let me challenge

you to a little arm wrestling."

We're going to actually see something

here, Mom.

Maybe.

Come on, Roujo. Come on, Frenchie. See

if you got any guts. See, let's see how

strong you are. Check in with brother

Jacques. That's nice. Wise thing to do

or not? It's not a wise thing in my

opinion to do.

Uh Jock, should I uh arm wrestle the big

guy or just stand here? Huh?

Never play another man's game.

I I don't believe Raymond can win this.

I don't believe the Rios can win this

match. I I don't believe that they're

Just when Raymon got things going his

way to Herk gave a nice eye rake and

that was all she wrote. Duck underneath

of there in a hurry. Where's Gibbs

Roujo brothers have once again cleared

the ring.

They must be from a closely knit family.

They're always watching each other's

backs. They're always coming to help

each other.

That's what tag team action is all

about. You should know that.

Grown man. Let him fight his own

battles. Is that what you how you teach

King Kong Bundy and Big John stud? Is

that what you tell them?

No. They watch each other's back.

Well, that's what these guys are doing.

Yeah, but the people are against us. We

have to watch ourselves. If we don't

watch for ourselves, who's going to

watch us?

Absolutely no one. Exactly.

I never like tag team action myself,

I don't like to depend on anybody else

or have anybody else depend on me.

Wow. Roujo having to use all their speed

and agility, mustering all together to

try to get by the big guy, Hercules

Hernandez and partner Terry Gibbs. Never

play another man's game inside that

big advantage for a tag team to be able

to speak at least three languages in the

ring that sort of confuse your opponents

a little bit.

Well, imagine if you want to use your

mouth and shoot your mouth off. First of

all, I'm the kind of a guy I never like

to have anything to do with a guy with a

Well, it doesn't really matter to me. As

long as there's money there, obviously

tag team, six mans, eight mans, 12 mans,

Oh, nice maneuver by Jacques, but nobody

home. Terry Gibbs outsmarted.

That's not hard to do.

And now rammed into the outstretched

knee of Hercules Hernandez. Quick tag

made in. Gibbs making sure that Jacques

didn't go anywhere.

Wow. He's not all there, Bobby. You know

what I mean when I say accelerating

force?

Yes. That's what Hernandez has.

He just doesn't kick in the corner. His

whole body goes into he accelerates.

Unfortunately, he lacks guidance and

direction. I think

I don't know. He's standing up and Rios

are down.

He's got Classy Freddy as his manager.

It's good enough credentials for me.

Obviously,

Bassie went down and found this guy

somewhere down in Tampa, Florida, did he

not? Well, he was always looking for a a

Latin wrestler. Always went Yeah. of

some Spanish descent, you know. I mean,

I don't know what his heritage is, but

Hernandez and from Florida and I don't

know, Cuba. I don't know where he's

from, but he's always been looking for

that.

Freddy likes he always has mostly

managed foreign athletes. Have you

noticed that?

Yes.

A lot of people have said that because

that's because they're not well verssed

on the American dollar and Freddy takes

advantage of it.

Well, you got

And Hercules made sure he didn't get a

I don't see uh King Kong Bundy or Big

John signing a contract with the Roujo's

name on it.

Is that not in the making in the work

somewhere?

Well, a win over them fit competition.

Oh, a win over the Roules uh helps

anybody up the ladder. Any great team,

right? But uh I think it's the other way

around. I don't think they want anything

to do with the Giant stud and King Kong

Bundy.

Making a few maneuvers here. Didn't make

Her dropped a big elbow on him.

they got whipped a lot in the

neighborhood.

They just look they got that kind of a

face on them like the big pansies.

Well, they grew up in a wrestling family

and I'm sure that they could hold their

own with anybody.

Oh, look at that.

They amaze me with the stupidity of the

rouos. Your brother's hurt and he leaves

them.

Referee was about to count him out, I

believe.

Been out there a long time on the

concrete.

Jacques and Gibbs doing all the damage

in the meantime.

Well, he just threw him back in the

ring.

Jacqu Rouer.

That's correct.

So, he's uh he's doing what his father

did best. He's laying on his back.

It's I hope his father doesn't hear you

say that, Bo, because you'll be running

for your life.

Jock taking a whole lot of punishment

here. It's about time for Raymon to get

Not going to be able to beat him that

you wear him down then he's beatable.

Well, he he doesn't have that left leg

wrapped around the left leg of Jacques

to make the hold effective.

Atomic drop perhaps. Yes.

Showing me a little continuity that I

didn't expect to see out of this team.

They're veterans. They're professionals.

Front face locked by the Herk. You know,

brothers always fight. Sisters always

fight. Don't you think they're growing

up? One probably had a better baseball

mitt than the other or one got a new

bike or something. They're always

fighting. They probably still jealous of

one another.

Well, it may be true. It could possibly

be true, but I doubt it. Well, that's

what'll cause him to be defeated.

Highly unlikely.

Tag about to be made here. Referee

distracted by the incoming of Terry

Gibbs. Did not see the tag.

There was no tag.

There was no tag. I didn't see.

I was watching from here. Oh,

sheer power of Hercules stopped that.

Just walked him back over.

Was there a tag there? I didn't see that

one either.

And another inverted atomic drop.

Gibbs giving himself a hand.

Two count. Referee very lethargic and

slow.

Jock trying to get back to his own

corner.

He may just make it now. No, he's going

the wrong direction.

Wrong way. Roujo. Maybe you've heard of

these brothers.

No. U kick.

Look at Gibbs making a block here.

He's ringing wise. He always knows where

he's at when he's in that ring.

Too bad he doesn't have a more

impressive win loss record.

Nice reversal into a backdrop. Oh, a

beauty.

Jacques in the wrong side of the ring

though. And Raymon is screaming for him

to come over and make the tag.

I think that hurt Hercules. Sure.

Stunned him. Maybe knocked the wind out

him.

Raymon now stretching that hand out.

There's the tag.

And a tag was made to Gibbs at the same

time. And look at Raymon explode.

Gibbs in for the ride. Big backdrop.

Whoa. A beauty. Here comes Herk. Catches

a mule kick and a right hand. Double

knock out there.

Come on referee. Get Hernandez out of

there. Oh, he's going to get another

slam.

Oh.

Oh, Hernandez catches him right in the

back with a beautiful high knee. Come

on, ref. Roujo showing a little too much

flash.

Well, look at this double team effort.

Double slam coming up. I don't know who

the legal guy is in there anymore,

Bobby.

I think it's Roujo. No, I mean between

Gibbs and Hernandez.

Doesn't matter.

Doesn't matter. All four of them are in

there right now.

Four-way going on inside the ring right

now. And the Roujo brothers on the

receiving end about to be slingshot

together. No reversal.

Gives down. Drop kick. And there goes

Herk. And another drop kick over for the

cover. It's all over.

Roujo outsmarting Hernandez and Gibbs.

Referee lost control again. You think

so? Couldn't keep the Rou out of the

ring. Let's get the official word.

The winners of the match, Chop and

Raymond, the Roujo Brothers.

Hardfought victory, but nonetheless a

victory. Look at Hercules. He doesn't

know what happened.

ring announcer, trying to get a

clarification. Kirk, your partner, was

fantastic Roujo Brothers. On to victory.

Wow, what a sensational team. We're

going to be seeing a whole lot more of

them, Bobby. And you know, they come

from a wrestling family. Their dad was

one of the most outstanding Canadian

wrestlers of all time. and you can't

help but grow up in a wrestling family

and pick up all that valuable

information that you need, you know, to

be superstars in the world of

professional wrestling.

Well, I imagine his father did pick up a

lot of valuable information. It probably

weren't from him. He probably came home

a lot of nights with the seat of his

trunks worn out and probably spent a lot

of time soaking in the tub.

Just hope that he doesn't hear you

making these remarks.

He may be retired, but uh I'm I think

he's

he's a rou. How tough can he be? Now,

these two punks are fast. They are

quick. They're probably probably the

best team out of Canada in the history

of wrestling, but they don't really

impress me.

interesting interview with my friend Ken

Resnik, along with newcomer to the World

Wrestling Federation, Billy Jack.

Gorilla Monsoon, as you are well aware,

nowhere is a competition tougher than

right here in the World Wrestling

Federation. Tremendous stars to say the

least. And one man that has suddenly

come here is new to the World Wrestling

Federation. And Billy Jack Haynes, if

you will, but certainly no stranger to

professional wrestling rings. Billy

Jack, a pleasure to welcome you, Billy

Jack Haynes here to the World Wrestling

Thank you very much, Ken. Uh, first of

all, I want to thank my family back in

Oregon. If you're wondering why wearing

Uh, Billy Jack, how many years have you

been wrestling professionally?

I've been professional wrestling for

four years. as I uh broke in

professional wrestling in Calgary,

Alberta. Uh thanks to my good friends,

the tag team champions Dynamite Kid and

Davy Boy Smith who helped me out a great

deal and I'm very happy to be here and

uh these guys here are great. The talent

here in the WWF is New Maruno and that's

why I'm here.

Billy Jack, for the fans that may not

have had the privilege of seeing you

wrestle before during your matches, is

there any one particular say submission

hole you like to make use of?

Yes, Ken. Uh in professional wrestling

is as tough as it is I work out

constantly all the time and uh you got

to run do your wind sprints do your

training do your stretching to prevent

injury uh I have mastered the full

Nelson that's uh as my finishing hold

submission hold behind the neck it puts

the opponent out once you feel him go

you can feel his weight drop you release

it because it's a very deadly hold also

you can put severe injury on your

opponent but uh I'm just uh glad to be

here in the WWF the World Wrestling

Federation uh it is the uh the best

there is and that's why I'm here.

Well, Billy Jack, talking about the best

there is, for example, if I could get

your opinion, we'll say the

Intercontinental Champion, the Macho

Man, Randy Savage.

Randy Savage is known all over the

world. Uh the guy just flies through the

air like a like a bird. He's he's

strong. You can tell he's in great shape

also. And uh just the list goes on and

on here.

I'm certainly one title Billy Jack Aes

would certainly like to see around his

waist, that of the Intercontinental

title. But wrestling fans again, Billy

Morgan. What's wrong with that?

let's go down to ringside right now as

the Moond Dogs take on Tony Parks and

Nelson Velour. A special added

Wrestling. So, let's go to ringside. You

want me to turn around? I'll turn

Wrestling Federation Extravaganza.

Another capacity crowd on hand. The

Moond Dogs, Rex and Spotty. What a

formidable team they are and giving away

a lot of weight in this matchup. The

team of Nelson Veloo and Tony Parks.

Tony Parks starting off this match with

Spotty who seems to have a problem

there.

Something got caught in his hair, I

believe. Might have been in there for

quite some time.

Side headlock by Mr. Parks.

I don't think he'd be able to hold

Spotty very long in this. No, he didn't.

Didn't budge him an inch. Spotty down in

front immediately comes up and right

there for a scoop slam. Showing us a

little power from that 226-lb frame.

Tony Parks

spotted backing up there.

Makes a tag to Rex or No, Rex come in to

Yes, he did.

Definitely made the tag.

And so did Parks get out of there. And

now it's Nelson Valu along with Rex

who I'm sure is very very close to that

300 lb mark. Look out fast into the

corner. Nobody home

as Nelson moved out of there in a hurry.

He heard the freight train coming.

Well, they're going to have to use a lot

of speed and agility, these two

youngsters, if they're going to get by

this team.

Nice arm ringer, Mr. Parks,

showing me some continuity.

and wide open double ax handle to the

upper arm area. Wow, what a short

forearm shot that was by Rex

Mr. Beloo down to the canvas and a quick

tag to spot.

Bondogs with the most impressive record

here in the World Wrestling Federation

tag team competition.

Oh, shoulder breaker. Well executed by

Spotty.

That could put you out of action for

quite some time. That particular move

as Rex continues the onslaught here.

Nelson.

Just a line long and heavy for entrance

here to the World Wrestling Federation,

which is the mecca for all professional

wrestling.

And these youngsters like Valu and Parks

wanting to make a name. Oh, look at the

clothes line.

Nelson had the wind knocked right out of

him. Another quick tag made as body

steps in.

Irish whip in. Look out. Back drop now.

Sunset flip. Can he get him over? Yes.

Couldn't quite reach far enough with the

legs to hook the shoulders down, but it

certainly was a nice effort.

Going to pay for it right here. Back

breaking coming up.

Bund spot executes those moves with a

lot of finesse and a lot of power behind

him as well. Side headlock and another

quick tag made and wide open Nelson

Valure

plats one right in the short ribs. Nice

knee lift

right there in the corner but didn't

make the tag.

Tony Parks had the arm outstretch but

didn't look like he was too enthusiastic

about getting into this one. Once again,

front face lock now by the big big dog.

Shot right to the ramis of the mandible

alongside the jaw.

Reverse chin lock now. Referee will have

to keep a close eye on it.

take much to slip this down into a choke

hole.

Plants a knee right in the thoracic area

and reaches right back and another quick

Once these Moon Dogs get the upper hand,

there's really no stopping them. They're

relentless in their pursuit. Side

The offense completely gone out of the

team of Nelson Valu and Tony Parks.

Turns it over with a nice standing wrist

lock, but Spotty just in the right place

to reach over and make the tag.

Just when you think you've got them

where you want them, you find out you

don't.

There's that good forearm short forearm

uppercut again. In comes Tony. A house

of fire. Parks unloading with some right

hands and an elbow.

Got the big guy reeling a little bit.

Irish whip. No reversal.

Excuse me. Oh, power slam right down.

Doesn't bother to hook the leg. I

believe he knocked the window. He could

have had the three count there and chose

not to. Jerked him up by a handful of

hair. Said, "We're not done punishing

this youngster yet. He wants to be in

the World Wrestling Federation. We're

going to teach him what it's like." A

look at that. Double team Meford with

the elbow off the second turnbuckle.

This one is history.

Just that quick. When the Moond Dogs

decide to put somebody away, they do it

in a hurry. Let's go up and get the

Well, you know, he really belongs in a

light heavyweight territory. uh so to

speak because you get in there with the

guys like the Moond Dogs and it can

terminate your career for you in a

hurry.

Probably won't be seeing much of him

anymore.

Highly unlikely, but we will be seeing a

whole great deal more of one Andre the

Giant who Bobby told me says that he is

suspended here. We're going to find out

more about that when we come back.

Well, wrestling fans, coming up, another

added feature here this week on Prime

Time Wrestling, where in fact, if you

were host of this program, Bobby, you

know what the program content was.

Obviously, you did not know about this

Andre match that we're going to take a

look at from Keel Auditorium in St.

Louis, Missouri. And I don't think that

the jury is completely in on the

suspension of one Andre the Giant. I

myself am not sure about this and I'm

sure the entire wrestling world isn't

either.

You can check with Jack Tunny. You can

check with whoever you want. The man has

been suspended. Now, at first when you

sprung this little surprise on me, I was

I was upset because when something is

done, it's done. He's supposed to be

suspended, but he is suspended. So, this

will be the last chance for you and all

the humanoids out there to enjoy seeing

the last of Andre the Giant. Sit back,

put your feet up, pop some popcorn in

your yap, and enjoy it.

Highly unlikely that that will be fact

considering the foot that he's going to

strategically placed because it

obviously has done some damage to the

natives of Gobal, France.

And Smeirnoff stepping over Andre now to

apply more pressure, but

under normal circumstances, he would

have to keep up the attack that he had

going for himself earlier on.

Perhaps from a strategy standpoint, from

where we sit, that would be the best

thing to do. Then again, perhaps damage

has been done to the left arm and

shoulder.

with Andre the Giant. Tremendously

These guys are a little bit uh

overmatched. Not overmatched, but

Certainly, they've got the weight

advantage over Jones and Roma.

I think that uh young Roma impresses me

with each week that goes by here, Jean.

He shows me some excellent skills as

well as tremendous physical

conditioning, showing me that power

right there.

And as you probably know, Gorilla

Monsoon, I had the opportunity of going

down under on a World Wrestling

Federation tour. Paul Roma very popular

and very impressive in his wrestling

skills and knowledge from the great fans

in Australia.

Well, I understand that you had a point.

Oh, look at this beautiful takeover.

He's got the arm underneath the

shoulder. No way you can pin a man that

way. Understand you had a good time down

under, Jean, you know.

Beautiful country, beautiful people and

they love their wrestling.

You know, Gorilla Monsoon, you tell me,

but this this young man, Paul Roma, has

come so far in the past 12 or 18 months

after struggling for a couple of years

Well, you know, Jean, in the world of

professional wrestling, the only way you

become really good is to get in there

with a top-notch talent. And Roma's been

doing that of late, and it's showing.

That's when you really learn.

Talking about top-notch talent, how

about veteran SD special delivery shows?

Special delivery. I understand maybe

they'll send you on assignment down to

Antigua, Jane, to cover some of SD's

homeland. I know you would.

Love that.

Quick tag made now as big Jim Haley

steps in.

SD coming close to that 300 lb mark. I'm

sure he's really bulking up. Nice

reverse squat switch, but SD right back

counters nicely with a hammerlock and a

quick tag to Roma.

I think there's the key. Some very, very

nifty, if you will, teamwork on a part

of Roma and SD. They tagged up by the

way in Australia, a couple of benches

down there. And I think they're going to

be a very good combination perhaps uh

somewhere down the road getting a shot

at some real upper echelon tag team

activity here in the war west.

Well, it' be interesting, Jean, to see

them in with the likes of the Heart

Foundation or former world champions,

Craig Hammer, Valentine,

that list goes on and on.

I'll tell you what, the Chic and Volkoff

have been making some heavy waves.

Freddy Blassie contended that he's going

to lead them once again to the title.

That remains to be seen in my book. J,

good looking kid. Paul Roma quickly

banking that tag to Jones. Jones takes

over where Roma left off.

Right back in that hammerlock. Once

you've got a guy down and in a

compromising position,

proper teamwork is so important. Stay

with it. The other man doesn't come in

and go to a leg hold or something to

that effect or side headlock. Stays with

whatever is being worked out.

Oh, Jim Henry now coming out on the with

some big lefts and right. That was a

mistake to the wrong part of the

Haley obviously not doing his homework.

understands what's happening in that

Very dangerous to go on the side with a

ring. I'm surprised the referee let him

get away with that. Another

oversight on his part, probably doesn't

even have the brains to get undressed.

Bundy squeezing for all he's worth. Have

during Wrestlemania 2 was not too

the avalanche knocking all the air out

of poor Mr. USA who tumbles down like a

big oak tree.

Very hard to get out of the way of Bundy

cuz he's so massive. That's one of the

weapons we use.

Very impressive.

Drop that big elbow then lays that 500

lb plus on your chest. Very difficult

difficult to get up from that.

Mr. USA doesn't look too powerful now,

does he?

Impressive victory. I give credit where

credit is due. King Conger on the

victory here in Toronto. Don't go away.

Cardinal mistake made by Mr. USA. Tony

Atlas had an opportunity to put your guy

away. Bobby, didn't take advantage of

it.

Now, I'm going to ask you something.

And let me let me let me let me say this

before I lose train of thought of it.

You know, you're uh when you're sitting

down there at the commentator's table

with me, you're supposed to be

impartial. You were cheering during that

match. Did you realize that?

Can't I just if if if 25,000 humanoids

can sit there with popcorn in their

mouth and yell, why can't I?

Well, as long as you don't get

physically involved, I guess. I told you
