- Episode 6 -

Don't you have work to do?

No, I have finished all my work

Why can't you come over and give me a hand?

How is it possible?

Obviously Shen Zun wanted to punish you.

Who dares to help?

No sense of loyalty!

Where are you going? Have you cleaned here?

Don't slack off

What is this?

Don't touch it!

It's the totem of Lie Yi's family

Lie Yi?

Are they part of the Celestial Tribe?

Why is Lie Yi's totem here at Shen Zun's residence?

They used to be.

Lie Yi used to be a brave general under Shen Zun,

his family also used to be quite esteemed,

even more than today's Yuan family.

It's pitiful that

he was beguiled by the Demons to

kill a lot of people.

He was eventually executed by Shen Zun himself.

His family members also were stripped of their immortal bones by the Celestial King,

and sent to the Mountain Spirit Realm.

They could never return to the Celestial Realm.

Stripped of their immortal bones?

That's so miserable.

But he was the one committed a crime, not his descendants.

That's just the Celestial laws.

You need to blame the ancestor who wasn't thinking for them when he committed crimes.

Anyway, the mortal people do not even have immortal bones at all,

but they still live their lives.

Shen Zun is a man who keeps old friendships in mind.

That's why he kept the totem.

Don't mention it in front of him.

Okay.

I'll leave for now. Keep working.

I kneel down to see the Celestial King.

Zhen Jun, why do you do this (kneel down)?

Report to your Majesty,

I have been temporarily kept the Lord of War Seal and

led our Celestial soldiers for 50,000 years,

but I didn't pass the Celestial Test (for the Lord of War position) at Purple Cloud Platform.

I'm shameful that I didn't live up to your Majesty's high expectations of me.

Jiu Chen has returned,

if I still hold on to the Lord of War Seal,

that's not proper. [ One can't justify his doings if he doesn't hold the corresponding position.]

I hope that your Majesty

take the Seal back.

Zhun Jun, did you really mean what you said?

Uh?

Uh.

Now that you said so,

you can personally give the Seal back to Jiu Chen.

This..

What?

I respectively follow your order.

True Thunder Zhen Jun,

you held the Seal for 50000 years,

your contribution to our Celestial Palaces are recognized by everyone.

You and Jiu Chen are both

our backbones of our Celestial tribe.

If you two have a harmonious relationship, then the Four Seas will be harmonious,

and the Six Realms will be harmonious.

Do you understand?

I

understand.

Great.

Zhen Jun,

[Zi Guang] [Fang Sheng] Zhen Jun,

Did his Majesty take the Seal?

Yes.. [sign]

His Majesty ordered me to

personally give the Seal

back to Jiu Chen.

Isn't this forcing you to bow down to Jiu Chen?

It's not a secret that

His Majesty favors Jiu Chen more.

Don't be furious, Zhen Jun.

Didn't we already expect this?

What's the big deal if we return it to him?

Without explaining what happened at You Du Mountain,

Jiu Chen still wants to hold the Lord of war position,

that's laughable!

His Majesty favors him,

but our millions of Celestial soldiers,

may not necessarily follow him.

That's right.

I, Zi Guang, am the first one that won't follow him.

Zhen Jun,

instead of keeping the status quo,

why not push him forward?

That day in the Hall, we all saw

what Jiu Chen did.

Who can believe that

he is not hiding anything

regarding You Du Mountain?

Moreover, the war report by Zhu Xie we kept

could not be opened in all these years.

Now that Jiu Chen wants his position back,

then he has to open the report personally,

to prove his innocence.

Good.

What about the task regarding Mountain Spirit Tribe?

How could I treat the task you assigned me lightly?

A bunch of unorganized thugs.

They can't resist us at all.

Except for the head Zhong Hao,

everyone else was handed to Guo Shi (National Advisor) Jing Xiu.

Those people are

the descendants of the Celestial General Lie Yi.

Lie Yi, just like Yuan Zheng,

was one of Jiu Chen's favorite generals.

Jiu Chen has always been protective of his own men.

Now when he finds out that his favorite general's descendants

were all killed and none returned,

how could he be able to sit still?

What do you mean, Zhen Jun?

They won't pass the word for you, that guard is really bad.

Then could I bother you to pass the word for me, fairy?

No, no.

Tian Lei and I are arch enemies,

I can't see him.

What?

How could you as a low-ranking fairy have any bad history with him?

You are an immortal from the lower realm, you don't understand

The rules here are enormous and there are even more troubles.

The people here

are also very snobbish.

This little Celestial fairy

is interesting

Advisor

Lie Yi's tribe were all captured,

but Zhong Hao escaped with the help of Death Soldiers.

Zhong Hao has escaped?

Yes.

Zhong Hao's chest was hurt by the Lord of War's sword,

plus he has been escaping for days,

it's already near the end for him.

My heart can't have peace before Zhong Hao dies.

Keep hunting for him.

I want to see him with my eyes

either alive or dead.

Yes

What about his tribe members?

Kill them.

No need to report to her Majesty?

With such a trivial thing?

Her birthday is coming, it's not auspicious to let her see blood.

Find a time and

take them to the Spirit Chaining Abyss.

Okay.

I'm here to see Shen Zun.

Shen Zun, you asked to see me,

I don't know what for?

Was it you that captured Zhong Hao's tribe?

Yes.

It's all my fault.

Now that you are back,

I should not follow orders from others.

But Shen Zun wasn't feeling too well at that time,

I thought, it would take some time before you could return,

so I went with Zi Guang general..

I have no intention of blaming you

It's natural for you to follow orders when you serve in the army

You did nothing wrong.

You can stand up.

Thanks, Shen Zun.

Zhong Hao is Lie Yi' posthumous son. Do you know Lie Yi?

I heard a thing or two.

Back then it was different from now.

The Demon tribe was rampageous, and there were chaotic wars between the Six Realms.

Everyone in the celestial army only survived after seeing a lot of blood and bodies.

After watching an abyss for too long, it's easy to fall into the abyss.

Even though Lie Yi deserved to die,

his tribe members did not commit any serious crimes.

They don't deserve to die with him.

Do you understand this?

Understood.

Zhong Hao plotted a rebellion, killed innocents, he deserved to die,

but in his tribe, there are still some old, weak,

women and kids.

Mortals always say,

the heaven cares for every living thing.

We are born as immortals/gods,

we should live up to the expectations all mortal people place on us.

Yes

I have a letter here

You send it on behalf me

to the Mountain Spirit tribe's Queen.

Let her know, I'll return her favor in the future.

Yes.

Go.

Allow me to leave now.

What did you hear?

I'm only doing cleaning.

Did you talk?

I haven't heard anything.

Shen Zun

Yuan Tong General

is so good-looking.

She looks gentle, speaks softly,

but it turns out she is a general.

I thought every female in the army was like Shi San.

How eye-opening!

Shen Zun, do you think that

I can also

be a Celestial general?

No

Why not?

My father

never allows me to leave the Peach Blossom Woods since I was a kid

he said it's because I'm too good-looking

he worries that I might get into trouble.

Shen Zun

do you also find me ..

Because you didn't cultivate enough

Doctor Le Bo loves drinking wine as much as his life,

which is known to all the Six Realms,

you don't need to take his gibberish too seriously.

Is it done?

No

Make it clean.

I heard that the Lord of War has returned from Changsheng Sea,

I haven't got time to visit him yet.

You are too courteous.

You must be too busy with your work to have free time.

The Lord of War has great achievements.

He is the guardian of our Six Realms.

Shen Zun said that Zhong Hao deserved to be executed for his crime,

but those old and weak among his tribe,

who have not committed any crime,

he wants to ask you to spare their lives.

[Ling Yue (Queen of the Mountain Spirit Tribe)]

Zhong Hao's tribe members have been captured, why am I kept in the dark?

Perhaps, perhaps they haven't reported to you yet

Go find it out.

Yes.

Since I was a kid, I've heard that the Lord of War

has been kind to Lie Yi's descendants.

Now he's come back from his sleep,

he still cares about his old friendships,

this is indeed "carrying out task in a sweeping manner; at the same time having a good heart inside."

Your majesty

What's up?

The Adviser just took Zhong Hao's tribe members

to the Spirit Chaining Abyss.

Jing Xiu, you wrote this, isn't it?

Nobody forced you?

It read clearly that

your father is colluding with the Demon tribe,

bringing chaos to the Six Realms, and plotting a coup.

And that you heard with your own ears, and saw with your own eyes.

Behead!

No no no

Father!

[Spirit Chaining Abyss]

Adviser, now it's the time.

You were abandoned by the Celestial tribe,

you came to our tribe, but instead of being grateful,

you plotted a rebellion.

You did not follow our edification,

you planned to assassinate our National Adviser.

The crime is unforgivable.

Today, Adviser offered his mercy

you won't be sentenced to death

but sent to the bottom of the Spirit Chaining Abyss.

Now you should

reflect upon yor sins, and change yourself.

Do not waste Adviser's kindness.

The Queen is here.

Your majesty, save us, save us!

Please, save us!

Your Majesty

Your Majesty

What are you doing?

Dealing with the prisoners.

What crimes did they commit?

Plotting a coup, killing innocents,

and injuring the Celestial generals.

Those were committed by Zhong Hao.

They belong to the same tribe, what's the difference?

They deserve to die simply because of that?

If one day, someone in my Phoenix tribe

committed a crime that warrants a death penalty,

will you also sentence me to death, too?

Your Majesty, you are exaggerating.

Make them stop now.

Those masters have already shut down their senses,

once the magical array started there is no return.

Someone committed a crime,

instead of capturing the leader,

you are here killing those innocents here.

Innocents?

If you only kill the leader and not the other tribe members,

who can say for sure that, among them,

there won't be another Zhong Hao rising?

Their Celestial people's lives are lives,

aren't our Mountain Spirits people's lives also lives?

Ridiculous logic!

In order to prevent people from doing bad things,

you want to kill everyone?

Your Majesty, please allow me to report,

I don't want to kill them,

I just want to put them under the Spirit Chaining Abyss,

and let them reflect on their sins.

The Spirit Chaining Abyss is a place for dead spirits,

it has an entrance but no exits.

They are no longer immortals,

if you throw them in,

how is it different from killing them?

You are a bit different today, your Majesty?

You never asked about how things are handled.

I never ask

doesn't mean I don't have the right to ask.

Adviser

Understood

Your Majesty

No, no, no

Stop

Stop

No...

You highly Demon King,

We are at a desperate position,

today we swore with our blood that

"Use our body, To sacrifice your spirit"

Demon King Must Return!

Demon King Must Return!

Master, we have no way to go.

[Zhong Hao] When did we ever have a way?

Kill

Do you know where this is?

There is no way to stay alive,

only I can save you.

Ha ha ha ha

What's going on?

Master, where are you going?

Ling Xi

I want you to clean the room,

are you being lazy?

It's a mess here

Get up!

Fainted?

Ling Xi

Sending off your Majesty

Sending off your Majesty

Release the old and weak

A Yue [the Queen's given name]

Is it you?

My daughter,

is it you?

[Yuan Du (the Queen's father]]

Yuan Du

You are not dead

Ling Xi. Senior sister.

Finally you are awake.

Father

It's okay.

Why are you here?

What happened?

I was cleaning as usual

all of a sudden, a jade plate on the table broke

Then

Then

Why did Lie Yi's totem break?

Is it because someone used blood spell?

Go home with me.

I don't want to.

Let me take a look.

Go back with me.

Go back with me.

I don't want to go back.

Stop.

I don't want to go back.

Go home with me.

Yun Feng Immortal. Yun Feng Immortal.

Go home with me.

You unfilial daughter.

How am I unfilial? Just because I don't want to go home?

If I go back, you'll lock me up again.

I simply want to stay here and watch over the fire and fold quilts for Shen Zun.

I, Le Bo, live such a heroic life, how come I have a daughter like you!

I'm furious. I'm furious.

Shen Zun.

Doctor Le Bo, may I ask why you want to bring her home?

I miss my daughter, is that not right?

If you miss her, you can simply visit her here.

Ha. There are too many rules at your palace, I don't like coming here.

I just want to see my own daughter in front of me in my own place.

Furthermore, back then,

in from of Celestial King, you asked to keep my daughter here to take care of you.

But it turns out, you treat my daughter as

a low level servant.

Washing, cleaning and making fire,

It's WATCHING over fire

washing clothes and folding quilts,

You shut up.

Washing, cleaning, WASHING over fire, washing clothes and folding quilts,

We are all immortals here.

In the past, my Red Bird tribe was quite esteemed in the Celestial Palaces too.

Lord of War, what you did is inappropriate!

Inappropriate indeed.

That's right

So what?

So I want to take her back.

Then suit yourself.

Shen Zun

Ling Xi

In my opinion

you decide for yourself.

Dad, I'm willing to stay here and do the washing, cleaning, watching over fire, washing clothes and folding quilts.

You, go back. I don't.

Shen Zun.

Report to Shen Zun.

I tanked the task, please punish me.

How are the descendants of Lie Yi?

They used their blood to sacrifice to the Demon King

and all became Resentful Spirits and escaped.

Stand up

Okay

Shen Zun,

Celestial Thunder Zhen Jun is asking to see you.

Jiu Chen High God.

Celestial Thunder Zhen Jun.

I'm here, under his Majesty's order,

to return the Lord of War Seal to you.

Please examine the Seal.

Zhen Jun, don't beat around the bush.

What on earth do you mean?

I kept the Seal temporarily

for 50,000 years,

now Jiu Chen is back,

it's sensible for me to return it to him.

Is it inappropriate?

You can be this kindhearted?

You think

I'm acting abnormally?

Jiu Chen,

is it that

you even lost your courage to just view the Seal?

You!

It is indeed the Lord of War Seal. Thanks.

Wait.

Since your return, there has been a lot of rumors.

All lords have doubts.

Now that you have taken the Seal back

and reclaimed the Lord of War position.

The timing is perfect that

I have a war report at hand,

this is written 50,000 years ago

by Zhu Xie before

he died in battle.

Lord of War, please use the Seal

to open the war report,

so that we can all know

what happened back then.

It can also prove your innocence.

Your Majesty,

this is the last war report

written by Zhu Xie 50,000 years ago.

I guess this report

must have all the details of that day

at the You Du Mountain.

In our army, only the Lord of War

can use the Lord of War Seal to open a report

Stupid as me

I failed at the Celestial Test at the Purple Cloud Platform.

In the whole Celestial Realm, only Jiu Chen

is able to open it.

I'm willing to return the Seal to him.

As long as he can open the report and

prove his innocence,

I..

I will spare no effort in

assisting him.

It's a serious crime to damage a war report.

Jiu Chen High God, how can you do that?

It seemed only like yesterday when that battle happened

I don't want to see my comrades' death once more

This report..

I'd rather not view.

You do not bear to view it or not dare to?

This is Fu Yun Palace,

Is this a place for you to act wildly?

All right, no need to keep up the fake appearance of courtesy.

Wait a minute.

Zhen Jun, the report was destroyed by him!

It reached a moment when we don't need any report

Why do we need any report?

Lord of War

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ...

Report to your Majesty,

Lord of War Jiu Chen said he wouldn't see

the death of his comrades again,

burnt the report publicly.

Sign

Shen Zun

After Celestial Thunder Zhen Jun left,

he went to see his Majesty.

After that his Majesty called many immortals to a meeting

they haven't stepped out even up to now.

General Zi Guang also gathered many Celestial generals,

I'm afraid they will investigate the battle.

People are enraged,

it's very unfavorable for us.

What about you?

What?

Do you want to know about that battle?

No matter what happened,

whatever you order me to do,

I'll do all my best.

Shen Zun, it's time for your medicine.

Shi San,

Change the brazier.

Okay.
