obligation to find guilt beyond a

reasonable doubt.

Then you've got trouble.

He drove to the pond with her. Then to a
roadside where they kissed a little and

physical evidence. The hairs, the

That explains it all.

No weapon.

No witnesses.

No blood of my client or his
possessions.

There would have to be a small

You can't not know it.

So all I ask is that when you come back
out of that jury room, come out with

your integrity intact.

Come out with a verdict of not guilty.

But this process still has one redeeming
exception that continues to make it the

It's made up of people who, for the most
part, still cling to the ideal that it

must be about truth.

It may be diminishing.

But many Americans are still raised with
a public conscience, an ingrained sense

of morality.

And if we get enough of those people in
