I have five NSYNC dolls and a signed
picture by the entire band.

We have Joey Fatone, Lance Bass,

J .C., Chris Kirkpatrick, and Justin
Timberlake. All the ladies want them and

all the guys want to be them.

NSYNC, I think they started around 1995.

And they actually started overseas in
Germany and Europe first.

About 96 is when they came over to
America, released their first album.

And it was a landmark album. I mean,
from that point on, they did

with tons and tons of well -known
musicians.

Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Aerosmith. I
mean, they had two platinum records, two

diamond records, three gold singles.

And Sync is one of the most popular,
most successful boy bands ever.

So I do have one doll that was signed
twice by Joey Fatone.

So that's pretty cool.

I think Joey and Justin are probably the
most popular of the group. They went on

to have the most successful careers
after. So it looks like they made these

dolls to be collected.

So these weren't the kind of dolls you
would play with. If they were out of the

packaging, they would be less desirable.

70s. Williams made several versions of

pinball business in the 90s.

I think their main thing is the slot
machine.

I got it from this collector down in
Austin, Texas.

He's redone all the cabinet.

He found new control panels, things that
were not available any longer.

And the big feature on it is it's got
this animated back glass where the

players, as you score runs, they will
actually physically get up and run

the bases. Okay.

I've had my day with this one, so time

find a new home for it. So does it work?

Instinct is one of the biggest boy bands
in the world, so I'm sure there's some

But I need a little bit more

I got quite the collection for you to
look at today.

These are cool.

The Instinct toys were, for the time
period and the culture, like really,

big. And the reason they were so big is
this band, obviously, when they blew up,

they... took off like wildfire.

You want to talk about a great marketing
campaign with the song It's Gonna Be

Me? They filmed that song as the
marionette, so they were dressed in the

to look like the dolls.

You saw them come to life on your
screen, and then you turn around, you go

the toy store, and there's the
marionettes available for you to

when it hit the shelf, disappear.

So the boxes look like they're a little
rough. It's pretty common for these

boxes to be in this type of condition.

I also noticed that this one looks like
it's got some writing on it. That could

be an autograph. I don't authenticate
autographs for you, so that's not

something that I can tell you that is
for a fact, you know, Joey's autograph

not.

So what do you think everything's worth?

So I've seen the Justin go, you know,
$35 to $40 by itself.

The other figures go anywhere from, you
know, $10 to $15 each.

That's what we paid for them originally.

Yeah. In some cases with some of these
toys, when they're mass produced, they

don't necessarily gain or sometimes lose
value. And we see this trend,

especially in the 90s and early 2000s
toys. So as a set, I would expect you'd

able to get $90 for them.

However, you have a picture down here,
and it looks like it's signed by the

entire band. I think you should get the
autographs authenticated.

Because if you do that, that could
really be your value here, the fact that

have all the autographs with it. You
know, I've seen Justin's autograph go as

high as $200 because of how desirable
his is.

Okay. But as far as the toys are
concerned, as they sit, I would expect

you'd be able to get $90 for the dolls
themselves.

album, we broke records. We sold 1 .2

And we sold 2 .4 million albums.

in the first week, which was never done
before, and they were tangible albums.

Yeah, it's a lot different now with
digital streams.

They pioneered and refined the steam

engine. This exact replica gives an idea
of just how incredible they were.

To find a working model with this much
detail is pretty rare.

I have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
prototype from 1991 along with the

product. They're actually re -releasing
a lot of these, too, because they are

popular amongst this generation, too.
Yeah, I think the turtles will always

a special place, right? Something about
these pizza -eating, life -like turtles

that just captured the pop culture of
America.

That's pretty cool.

This looks like it's from the Mutant
Military set.

each turtle would have represented a
different branch of the military. That's

right. In 1991, Playmate was doing some
really cool stuff with the line Teenage

Mutant Ninja Turtles. It was a
relatively new comic, and I think their

television series came out in, like, 87.

So they released their first set of toys
in 88, and they did really well. And

then in 91, Playmate started to do all
kinds of cool stuff with the turtles,

the toys would just fly off the shelf.

So tell me a little bit about what you
know about it.

So these characters were made as hard
resin prototypes, like the one you have

front of you. Do you mind if I handle
the prototype?

Absolutely.

It's pretty cool, though. I'm just kind
of comparing it to the final product

there, and it looks pretty much
identical, right? But I'm interested,

you find the prototype?

So I have a friend who is very close to
the person who actually made the

prototypes for Playmate.

It is pretty cool, actually. Were you
the one who had this graded? I did.

It has some minor whitening around the
edges, but overall, it's a beautiful

piece, and it doesn't seem to have any
fading going on on the actual card

itself.

Do you have a price in mind?

I was looking to get $3 ,500 for it.

It's not so hard for me to value the
graded one because, you know, there's a

record of stuff like this selling in
different grades, so it's pretty easy.

as far as the prototype goes, those
don't trade publicly as much as the

release stuff.

And then at night, he would go out and
do graffiti.

And that's how he got famous. Kaz's
signature trademark is putting X's on

eyes and X's on the hands.

This is actually one of the most sought
-after ones. It's really hard to get.

This is called the Companion. And the
Companion is modeled after Mickey Mouse.

Is that the box for it right there or
whatever? Yeah. Oh, you got the box for

it, too? Yeah, original box with it as

So what's this thing worth?

I mean, brand new in the box, in the
plastic.

People ask about $12 ,000 for it, $13
,000, and they do sell for that.

But open like this, already out of the
box, other than these few little scuffs,

I mean, the condition looks pretty good,

My nephew stayed at my house for about a
month when he was a kid, and I learned

This is actually really cool. So LEGO
started in the 30s. They came right off

the heels of the erector set craze that
was going on.

1949 is when they started making the
little bricks out of plastic.

77 came along.

Star Wars came out. This would be the
second set. It came out in 2016, and

is the new and improved, better version
of it.

I think this one had something like 200
or 400 extra bricks in it. Definitely

one of the most popular things Lego has
done in probably the past 30 years.

Very true. Just really, really more
refined. I think it had a bunch of the

hip Lego people call them mini -figs.

Mini -figs. I just call them little Lego
character guys.

Let's see, here are all the mini -figs.
You have two Stormtroopers, two Death

Star Gunners, Grand Moff Tarkin.

He was the guy that's above Darth Vader.
Everybody has a boss, right? Even in

different galaxies.

Yeah, everyone does. So apparently Darth
Vader did too.

But I'm pretty sure one of the things
that makes this set really special is

is the only set where he's in.

Definitely pretty cool. I know that's
one of the things that makes it more

valuable than others. I mean, the box is
a little worse for wear. It's slightly

open over here.

I mean, the only thing cool about the
box is that you still have some kind of

original box. I mean, you have the tape
here, all that, but it's not going to

bring anything extra for it.

I'm assuming you brought it here to sell
it, right? Yeah.

Yeah, so it's funny that Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles is one of the most

collectible toy lines out there. The
reason for it, it reminds me a lot of

a Disney character.

They can be anything.

And that's what they did with Playmates.
They really took and they found

storylines for these characters to be
able to be in almost any dimension, any

time. So being in the military,
obviously that's right in the realm of

would expect a Ninja Turtle to do.

So the toy's graded pretty good.

85 .4 is what it says down here.

This is pretty cool and interesting. I
wanted you to take a look at it.

Do you mind to play? Yeah, absolutely.

Go for it.

So Leo obviously is the leader of the
Ninja Turtles. So from a collector's

standpoint, he's always collected.

Playmates is known for letting
prototypes out the door.

They're also known to make more
prototypes.

So it's common to see what we would call
a naked prototype.

Along these lines, they're testing to
make sure that everything looks good

before paint. So this is right before
paint.

Very, very cool figure. Very
collectible. And it's in really good

because you got to think when it's a
prototype, it gets shipped around all

the office.

Oh. And so usually you see some type of
like major scuffs and damage and stuff.

But overall, he looks really, really
nice. So I think it's a really great

example of a prototype for the Ninja
Turtles. OK.

What do you think these are worth, the
graded toy and also the prototype?

So I think as a pair, $2 ,900 is a fair
assessment.

I think you'd have no problem being able
to sell them.

vehicle in the movie.

These are pretty cool. You can imagine
when it came out, this was the hottest

item for Christmas, and it was a Toys R
Us exclusive.

Believe it or not, this is supposed to
be able to fit two kids in it, just like

you could do in the movies.

Just the way it's designed, it has the
wheels on the bottom, but they're tucked

way under it so that it actually looks
like it's floating around exactly like

would in the movie.

It looks pretty beat up, but it's
supposed to look that way because Luke

Skywalker didn't have any money, you
know? He was willing to ride around in

whatever he could get.

The Landspeeder came out in 2017, but
shortly after, Toys R Us went out of

business, and they started to liquidate
all this stuff.

So you were able to actually purchase
one of these for $100 to $250 at one

point. At the time of liquidation, they
just wanted to get rid of everything.

Does it still work?

It still runs. I just don't have the
battery charger.

All right. Well, that's probably not too
hard of a thing to get.

Is it charged right now?

Yes. A light bulb is going off in my

How would you feel about test driving
this thing?

I would love to test this out. All

So where did you get all this?

I've been collecting since I was young,
actually.

There's roughly 1 ,000 pieces, almost
600 of them in boxes.

Matchbox is a huge company. I mean,
there's a huge collector market out

for them.

Everything is pre-'70, which is
considered the most collectible because

Matchbox changed their whole way of
manufacturing due to Hot Wheels being

released. Most Matchbox cars are scaled
-down versions of actual vehicles.

Kids went crazy for them, but then Hot
Wheels came out with wilder, Hot Rod

-type cars. So to keep up, Matchbox
completely transformed their line.

Now the cars from the 50s and the 60s
can be worth some serious money.

This collection is without duplicates.
Everything in here is different. Right.

For an example, this car here, it's a BP
gas tanker. The fact that it has gray

wheels instead of black plastic wheels.

Makes us a $1 ,000 car.

toys or give them some more information
about a piece.

What's going on? This guy wants to pawn
all of his Matchbox stuff.

He's got, like, thousands of cars and
pieces here, so I was hoping you could

maybe go through it for me. Yeah, no

The Matchbox came out in the late 40s,
and they were really popular because

had a lot of detail, a lot of moving
parts, opening doors. There was

no competition up until 68 when Hot
Wheels released their first 16.

In the Matchbox world, the boxes are
everything. A lot of the value is the

condition. Most of the collectors that
buy the Matchbox cars, they only want to

buy them with the boxes and everything
complete.

You got the coordination coach.

They've made 200 to 300 of these pieces
when they coronated Queen Elizabeth.

This is a really, really rare piece.
I've seen these go for $1 ,200 to $1

You've got the BP tanker with the gray
wheel. That's a $1 ,000 piece right

there. Also, you've got some of the king
-size pieces here.

These can go $300 a piece.

You have some jewels in these boxes
here.

This collection is amazing.

I mean, boxes, condition, rarity. It has
all the factors going for it.

Everything's pretty mint.

It's a pretty complete collection. I
would put a price in the collection at

,000 to $28 ,000 on the whole
collection.

I'd put it at $75 ,000 myself.

Okay, I mean, that's like top -end
retail.

I would say about 10 years ago at the
peak of the market, you would have

probably been closer to that number. I
would say probably $28 ,000 on today's

the ultimate WWF wrestling collectible

for you. I have a Papa Shango prototype.

They call it a test shot from the toy
company.

And with it looks like maybe a
blueprint?

Yes, it's a blueprint.

They would do one for each of the
wrestling figures.

This blueprint actually goes into depth
kind of like the actions that I was

going to do. And it says right here, the
boxer mechanism.

So I guess they were giving him the
punch.

Right. I got my Hasbro prototype and my
blueprint from a Hasbro employee.

I let them know I was the number one
Papa Shango fan, and I wouldn't leave

alone until they finally made me a deal,
and I could add it to my collection.

I'm hoping to get for the figurine and
blueprint $2 ,500.

It's worth it.

I'm actually super excited to see this.
I myself am a wrestling fan. I still

watch a little WWE, but WWF is my era.

So Papa Shango kind of did voodoo magic.

He did control the lights kind of like
The Undertaker, so that was pretty cool.

He was doing it even before The
Undertaker, right around the same time.

skull, it would smoke.

It would smoke, and then he would put
wrestlers out by doing voodoo to them.

So I loved it.

But... You know, a few years after 93,
the Attitude Era really started to come

in, and Papa Shango was rebranded into
the Godfather. When the Godfather came

out, he blew up. Of the time period, you
know, obviously you have the Stone Cold

Steve Austens and, you know, the
Undertakers, and, I mean, the Godfather

right up there with these guys. He has a
cult following. People love all of the

characters he did. It's kind of cool,
because a lot of the time when your

character gets rebranded, it's because
it wasn't working.

And somehow, he was able to rebrand
every time and make it work.

I really love that about his career.

This blueprint looks to be a copy with
maybe some hand -drawn corrections on

here. It's really cool, though, to see
it on one large piece of paper,

everything from the WWF logo laid out.
It's even showing the scale.

I absolutely love it.

What are you looking to do with this?

I'm hoping to get $2 ,500 for both. OK.
I'm not sure what I'd pay for it. I

mean. I know I'd want to put it in my
collection, though.

I want to research it just a bit. I also

legit. It is the one. And I see you have

the prints, too.

That's impressive. That's old. They're
very rare.

So what was it like around, you know,
93, 94, right here in the WWE when they

were making them? Oh, my. I was having
the time of my life.

We were living like rock stars.

We were on TV three or four times a day.

The WWF at the time would have loved to
kept running with that character.

But you know, it was better for me to
take a break for a while. So were you

involved in the process at all, or
making this? Back then, you know, you

just happy to get one. That was my first
action figure.

Man, I don't even have one. Well, if I
buy this, you still won't, because I'm

putting it in my collection.

Yeah, well, the Papa Shango figure on
its own, the general release, it holds

really good value. There's a lot of
money in these 90s WWE figures.

But I've seen all kinds of prototype
toys.

wouldn't even know what the value would

be on something like that. I've done
