The list of their
identities is encrypted,

but the Sardovians have already
managed to break a couple names.

How can you be sure?

Two of our informants
were killed.

Given the rate of decryption,
we suspect they're using

an Enigma-type machine
to crack the code.

A stream cipher,
likely working off

of various algorithms
simultaneously.

MARKMAN: The names on the list
are individually encrypted

for exactly this scenario,
so they have to be cracked

one by one. SYLVESTER: But if the
encryptions were all generated

by the same program,
as the cipher decodes them,

it'll pick up on idiosyncrasies

of the programmer,
becoming more efficient.

(beeping) WALTER:
