the trap door would open and Celeste

would jump down. What happens next?

She would use that blade

on the table there to cut
through the rope on her wrists.

And then she would run
through that tunnel there,

under the stage, and pop up
behind the audience

for the reveal.

a background in mechanics?

So these are the gears in question.

Any idea why they would've
stopped working?
