1
Hey there.
2
My name is Alex Hobart and for the last six years I've been doing and teaching 3D arts and animation
3
to thousands of people.
4
I am super excited and passionate to bring you this course because I poured my heart and my saw into
5
it and I made it with you in mind.
6
Now this course is built up into different sections where every section builds on top of the last one.
7
So we're going to kick things off with the very basics of 3-D arts and animation where you can learn
8
things about navigating the interface modeling texturing materials a little bit of animation so that
9
by the end of it we have the skills the knowledge and the know how to be able to competently navigate
10
around Blendr and not be overwhelmed by it.
11
And you'll have create a little simple animation.
12
That's pretty fun to make that we're going to take a little more advanced and create another animation
13
project and take a look at things like the graphs and editors.
14
Editors and note editors and bump maps and all these fancy words and lingos that sound confusing right
15
now but we're going to master it then we're going to go into things such a scoping we're going to take
16
a look at all the different options and tools and tricks for scoping how we're going to sculpt a cool
17
head within blender that we're going to take a look at things such as simulations KLOV simulations making
18
a flag animation with an Blendr things such as rigid bodies which allow for you to animate things randomly
19
and tons.
20
Tons more.
21
I mean if I were to describe everything that we're going through this course this video would be way
22
too long.
23
But I want to let you know about that by the end of it.
24
The last section we're going to go out with a big bang and create a final animation project and full
25
blown out animation we're going to take.
26
We're going to take everything that we learned and put it all into this.
27
We're going to take a look at modeling a character texturing animating rigging which is putting bones
28
to a character adding sound to the animation putting a full scene together and creating an animation
29
project so it's going to be tons of fun.
30
Now the way I structured this course is like I said I wanted it to be specifically tailored for you
31
because the way I did it is that after every section as we go through the section by the end of it not
32
only have you learned some awesome things and skills but also you've created a project or animation
33
that you can be proud of.
34
By the end of it.
35
So it's going to be tons of fun and you're going to have the skills the knowledge and the know how to
36
take what you want from your imagination and bring it forth into the world of 3-D on top of creating
37
these projects that we have.
38
And then you could take that and do it as a hobby or do it more as a freelance kind of thing and do
39
do it that way as well.
40
Now this course might not be for you and of course I would say it's for everyone but it might not be
41
for you if you're not open to learning anything new or if you just don't want to learn anything more
42
about three arts and animation.
43
But especially for you if you're brand new and always want to learn 3-D arts and animation but just
44
didn't know how.
45
And it's for you as well if you want to increase your skill set and your knowledge base because we're
46
going to be going from A to Z.
47
So to me tons of fun now with that all I want to say is that I poured my heart my passion my soul into
48
this and I've been an artist at heart since I was a wee little boy.
49
And here it's going to be tons of fun because I'm passionate about bringing you some awesome content
50
and also seeing what you create with this course and further down the road with 3-D arts and animation
51
and blender.
52
So really look forward to being on this journey with you and serving you.
53
So let's get to it.
54
Go to the first video and we're going to be rockin blender and 3-D arts animation so I'll see you there.
55
Let's show to it.
56
Let's go blending ladies and gentlemen.
57
All right.
58
So I just got one question for you.
59
Are you ready for this.
60
It's time to follow your bliss into the world of 3-D we go what we'll create.
61
Nobody knows.
62
This journey will take us through our mind to all the wonderful creations we can find.
63
And by the end we'll have to say I'm glad I took that course that one day.
64
All right let's go blending.
