and she began to get used to it.

chores, which included

scrubbing my face at
least 10 times a day,

and she'd do her housework
and keep my father in line.

And then one day...

Well, I will never forget it
if I live to be a hundred...

I decided to help myself
to one of her berry pies.

Now, Aunt Ethel baked the
best pies in all of Pennsylvania.

And I figured she wouldn't
notice one of 'em missing.

Well, I turned around, and she
was standing right behind me.

If ever eyes could see, they
were in Aunt Ethel's head...

and lookin' right at me.

I always suspected she got
her sight back that morning,

and was just waiting for an
opportunity to catch me at somethin'.

Well, she caught me all right.

And I didn't sit down
for a week.

One thing about Aunt Ethel... she
sure... sure wasn't much on sentiment.

the important thing is
she got her sight back.
