What are you looking at?

I'm looking to see

if that's the sun or the moon hanging there.

These past two weeks,

my sons have all come back to visit.

I'm afraid I can't handle all this good fortune.

Hey, Xiao Hai.

Did the art exhibition go well?

It went quite well, Mom.

And...

it wasn't just the exhibition that went well.

What do you mean?

Could it be...

my eldest son is seeing someone too?

Mom.

We're still just in the dating phase.

But I really like her.

I believe it won't be long

before I bring her home

to meet you and Dad.

That's great.

I have to go meet someone later.

Don't go.

You seem very concerned about Mr. Mo Fei.

I don't like this person.

Did you know each other before?

Is there something

you can't tell me?

I just want to confirm some things from the past.

I don't like anyone

interfering in my private affairs.

Including...

Including me?

Anyway, I'm going to meet him.

And I hope Secretary Lin

won't stop me again.

Xiao Hai.

Tell Mom quickly,

what kind of girl is she?

She is very smart.

And...

cheerful and strong.

Her family background is also quite good.

By the way,

your younger brother knows her too.

Really?

I have something to do, I'm leaving first.

My sensible youngest son

is really so polite.

To be honest,

when I went to see you that day,

I wasn't very confident

that you would come to see me.

Actually, I

have always been very interested

in Mr. Mo Fei's

Ferris Wheel Series.

So,

I wanted to know the source of your inspiration.

That is a story that is both thrilling

and heartwarming.

Thrilling?

When I was ten years old,

I got separated from my younger brother at the amusement park.

I was pushed into the Ferris wheel by the crowd.

Look.

There.

Look over there.

Is it that one?

But suddenly, an accident happened.

Sister, I'm scared.

Little brother.

Don't be afraid.

Sister Meili will protect you.

Little brother, don't be afraid, okay?

Sister Meili will protect you.

I was trapped inside

for a full four hours.

Don't be afraid, don't be afraid.

Four hours of fear.

Don't be afraid.

Sister Meili...

But fortunately,

will protect you.

the one with me...

Little brother...

was a little girl.

You are Little Brother Lin?

When I met you for the first time,

I said that

we had met before.

And Miss Qin,

you also know my younger brother.

He is Lin Han.

Secretary Lin.

But...

isn't your surname Mo?

Let me reintroduce myself.

I am Lin Hai,

Lin Han's older brother.

Meili!

Where did you run off to?

I've been looking everywhere for you.

Didn't I tell you not to run around?

This is her mother.

Are you okay?

I'm fine.

As long as you admit it.

Is this his mother?

Is this a new friend you've made?

Probably, probably.

Why are you all alone?

Mom.

He is Little Brother Lin.

Little brother,

what is your name?

My name is Lin...

That little boy back then was named Lin...

Lin...

Hello, Secretary Lin?

Are you feeling any better?

Um...

will you come to the hiking trip tomorrow?

Hiking?

I can, no problem.

Great, that's great!

Done.

Get your gear ready.

President Qin.

Are you looking for Secretary Lin?

He didn't come today either.

I know.

He's sick, right?

He needs some rest.

Sick?

Didn't he just agree to go hiking tomorrow?

Hiking?

Oh, right.

The department gathering.

They say it happens every year.

You didn't know?

I didn't know.

That's why I said last time,

this is isolation.

It's discrimination.

It's workplace bullying.

But...

but this is a company event.

Fine.

Hurry up and keep up.

How did we go from drinking heavily at the foot-of-mountain inn

enjoying a happy two-day, one-night getaway

to

actually climbing a mountain?

Why?

I even wore high heels

for Secretary Lin.

Every year around this time,

she completely forgets about it.

Someone must have tipped her off.

Who among us

has the biggest mouth?

Keep it up, everyone!

We're almost at the summit.

Boss,

everyone is very tired.

Should we take a break?

Tired?

How could you be tired?

We've only been climbing for a short while.

Three hours.

You have to understand,

not everyone

can be as exceptional as you are.

Yes, boss.

How about we split into two groups?

The tired group rests here,

and those who aren't tired keep climbing.

We'll stay in touch.

Anyway, later tonight

we still have to meet up at the inn.

Right?

Fine.

So, who's not tired?

Come with me.

Looks like it's just me.

Alright, let's go then.

Hurry up, you guys!

Bye!

Okay, bye.

Boss,

your phone.

Hello?

My dear Meili,

what are you doing?

That kind of address

is quite embarrassing.

Sorry.

I was just calling you like I did when we were kids.

Ever since we talked the other day,

I've been missing you a lot.

I wonder when we can meet again.

When I need you to.

You're still the same as when you were little,

direct and decisive.

Well then,

I'll wait for you.

Let's go.

Secretary Lin,

do you want to rest for a bit?

Okay.

What is it?

Don't move.

There's a first-aid bandage in the bag.

There, that should be fine.

We'll get it checked at the hospital later.

You already know, don't you?

Lin Hai,

also known as Mo Fei,

is my older brother.

I already know.

Why do you cling

to the past?

The past is in the past.

It holds no meaning.

Just like a Ferris wheel

doesn't stay still forever.

Why did you hide it from me?

Because I didn't want to know.

Because I don't understand why

you keep dwelling on

things that don't bring happiness.

Because, Secretary Lin...

What?

Because I've always been thinking,

if only that person were you.

Because if it were you,

our meeting

would be meant to be.

And there would be no regrets.
