>> Ridge: He's improving.

Thank you, that is now my --

my new favorite word.

Thank you, Doctor, for

everything.

All right. I will. Thank you.

All right, uh, Thomas is getting

better, he's got a concussion

and some broken ribs, but he's

on the road to recovery.

>> Brooke: I'm happy to hear

that.

I mean it, Ridge.

I didn't want any harm to come

to Thomas, I just wanted him

away from my daughter.

>> Ridge: Well, you got that,

didn't you?

>> Bill: Mmm.

>> Katie: Did that doing

anything to soothe the savage

beast?

>> Bill: Well, that was a

beautiful distraction.

>> Katie: I don't blame you for

being furious.

I am.

>> Bill: Honestly, Katie, the

more I live with it, the crazier

it makes me.

These losers walk in and wreak

havoc on Liam and Hope's lives,

all of our lives.

Steal their baby, my

granddaughter...

>> Katie: At least that's over

now.

Liam and Hope have Beth back.

I just can't stop thinking about

what Dr. Buckingham did with

Flo's help.

I hope they both rot in prison.

>> Shauna: Hey, baby.

>> Flo: Hi, Mom.

>> No touching.

You know the rules.

>> Shauna: Sorry.

>> Shauna: I hate to say it.

You don't look so great, honey.

>> Simon: Well, it's not exactly

fun being in here, but...

I have no one to blame but

myself.

>> Shauna: I went to Quinn.

I pleaded our case, and hoped

that our friendship would

prevail, but...

[ Sighs ]

It breaks my heart to tell you

this, honey.

She's not gonna help you get out

of here.

♪♪

>> Flo: I don't blame Quinn for

not wanting to help.

I mean, why should any of them

have compassion for me, after

what I did?

I'm sure they all think that I

got what I deserve, and

they're -- they're right.

>> Shauna: Honey, I hate hearing

you sound so defeated

>> Flo: Well, you can't exactly

call me a winner, Mom.

I guess I was for like a moment.

I had this brand-new family,

and this glamorous job, a cousin

who was best friend, and...

the man I love was in love with

me again.

And now I'm here.

All because I was too much of a

coward to do the right thing.

>> Shauna: You were used and

manipulated.

First by that evil Dr.

Buckingham, and then by

Thomas Forrester.

I mean, at least he got what was

coming to him.

>> Flo: What do you mean?

>> Shauna: Thomas is in the

hospital.

He fell off a cliff.

>> Flo: What?

>> Katie: Flo could have ended

Hope's suffering just like that,

at any moment, and she did

nothing.

Nothing!

While we opened our hearts and

our arms to her and welcomed her

into the family.

>> Bill: Well, Flo needs to

suffer.

Xander, Zoe -- all of them.

They've got to pay a price,

and they are.

But Thomas...

He's still out there.

I don't give a damn that he's in

that hospital bed.

He perpetuated that lie in the

most heinous way possible.

He used his own son manipulate

Hope's grief as a mother.

And, all the while, he knows

that Beth is alive and well.

Well, what Thomas did is

unforgivable, and I'm gonna make

sure that Forrester's mess of a

son pays for what he's done.

>> Ridge: I need you to

understand something.

I'm not making excuses for

Thomas.

He's doing horrible things,

and he will pay the price for

him, but I got to talk to him.

I got to get to the bottom of

it.

I don't think he should lose his

life for it, right?

Which is what almost happened

because of you.

>> Brooke: [ Scoffs ]

It was an accident.

>> Ridge: Call it whatever you

want, but my son almost died

because my wife hates him.

>> Flo: He fell off a cliff?

How does that even happen?

>> Shauna: I don't know.

All I know is, it did, outside

of Steffy's house, and Hope and

Brooke were there, too.

>> Flo: Do you know anything

else?

Like, what went down with them?

>> Shauna: I don't know.

Maybe Hope finally had enough

and flipped out.

>> Flo: I guess I can't really

blame her.

I mean, after everything he put

her through, after everything we

all put her through...

>> Shauna: Well, mostly Thomas

and Reese.

Honey, when I think about

everything you've been through

in this situation, and you're

here...

I mean, you were manipulated by

Reese, threatened by Thomas...

>> Flo: Well, I let it happen,

Mom.

Is Thomas okay?

>> Shauna: I mean, do we really

care?

Honestly?

I know, I'm sorry.

Unfortunately, it looks like he

is gonna be okay, proving there

is no justice.

I mean, my baby is sitting in

this hole while Thomas gets to

live his cushy life.

[ Sighs ] I hope this isn't how

it ends.

Someone needs to make him pay.

>> Bill: Thomas Forrester tried

to steal Liam's life and leave

him with nothing.

>> Katie: Well, it's all over

now.

Hope and Liam have Beth, they're

settling in as a family, and

they're making up for lost time.

>> Bill: That's impossible!

They can't get back those first

months with their daughter.

>> Katie: [ Sighs ]

>> Bill: And how about Steffy?

How heart-wrenching for her, to

love and raise this baby, only

to have to give it up overnight?

>> Katie: I -- I can't imagine.

>> Bill: Thomas could have put

an end to this horrible

deception the moment he found

out about it, but, instead, he

doubles down on his own agenda

and lets everybody suffer.

Well, if he thinks falling off a

cliff is the worst thing that's

gonna happen to him, he is sadly

mistaken.

>> Katie: Bill, where are you

going?

>> Brooke: I don't hate Thomas.

I hate what he did.

How he tricked my daughter into

a loveless marriage by using

Douglas.

Come on, Ridge, I understand

that you want to forgive him,

but do you really need to defend

him?

>> Ridge: I'm not defending

anybody.

And I'm not forgiving him,

either.

I'm trying to figure out exactly

what happened, get to the bottom

of it.

He apologized.

That's a start, right?

He knows he's wrong.

>> Brooke: I mean, we've been

down this road before.

Thomas does something horrible,

life-threatening, even, and then

the apologies come out.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do

that, I'll never do it again."

[ Sighs ] I mean, he's done that

to Rick, and now to Hope.

And that's enough.

I'm not gonna have him targeting

my children.

>> Ridge: I'm sorry.

You know Thomas didn't steal

Beth.

You know that, right?

It was Buckingham and his little

sidekick, Flo.

But the only person you point a

finger at is my son.

>> Brooke: Well, he's family.

I expect a lot more from him

than a couple of strangers.

And any misgivings that I have

about Thomas, they are

well-deserved because of how he

treated my daughter, how he let

her believe that her baby was

dead so he could trick her into

a marriage.

>> Ridge: You don't -- You don't

think that bothers me?

You don't think I think about

that?

I think about it all the time.

But Thomas could have turned you

in.

He could have told Sanchez that

you were the one that pushed him

off the cliff, but he didn't.

And if he had, you'd be in jail

right now next to Flo.

He protected you.

So give him a break.

And you know the other thing,

the thing that I can't get out

of my mind, is you pushing my

son over a cliff.

>> Brooke: Ridge, I didn't mean

for him to go over!

>> Ridge: You didn't mean to,

and that makes it okay?

No!

What if Buckingham didn't mean

what he did?

He's the one I want.

But I can't get to him, not now!

But I can get to Flo.

>> Pam: Oh!

Ridge just blew past me.

Is there something that I should

know?

>> Brooke: Uh, I'm sorry, what

did you say?

>> Pam: [ Sighs ] There's just

been so much drama going on

around here.

Ridge just stormed out of the

office.

>> Brooke: Um, he went to see

Flo.

>> Pam: Oh. Well, good.

You know what, someone needs to

confront that girl.

I mean, frankly, the nerve of

her, Brooke, just innocently

sitting down at the Logan table,

and all that while, she's

responsible for this horrible,

horrible secret?

>> Brooke: Yeah.

It's terrible.

>> Pam: I -- I couldn't help but

pick up on the tension between

you and Ridge earlier.

>> Brooke: Uh... [ Scoffs ]

>> Pam: No, no, no.

I mean, Lord knows, it's totally

understandable.

You're two parents with two

children, and now one marriage

being annulled.

Then throw into that mix that

horrible fall, and...

the kind of strange

circumstances surrounding it...

>> Brooke: All right, Pam, you

know, I -- I just don't really

want to talk to you about this.

>> Pam: Oh, okay.

>> Brooke: Bill.

What are you doing here?

>> Pam: I'll, uh -- I'll leave

you two alone.

Hey, Bill.

>> Bill: Pam.

>> Pam: Adieu.

>> Bill: Turns out, you were

right to be concerned about

Thomas.

>> Brooke: Well, I didn't want

to be.

So I'm assuming you know what

happened?

>> Bill: To my son and your

daughter?

All the ways they were lied to

and manipulated?

>> Brooke: And now that Hope and

Liam are back together, they can

rebuild their lives, especially

now that they have their

daughter back.

>> Bill: And they will.

But the perpetrators have to

pay.

Each and every one of them.

Including Thomas.

That's what I came to tell

Ridge.

Where is Ridge?

>> Ridge: You seem surprised.

>> Flo: Very.

>> Ridge: Sit down.

The Logan girls.

Man, they loved you.

Storm's long-lost daughter.

The Forresters loved you, too.

One big, happy family.

And you lied to us from day one.

You saw Hope and Liam suffer.

You saw Steffy fall in love with

that little girl that was never

gonna be hers.

And you said nothing.

>> Flo: What I did was wrong.

>> Ridge: Mm.

You could have been the voice of

reason.

When Thomas found out about

Beth, you could have talked to

him.

He would have listened to you.

>> Flo: No.

>> Ridge: No?

>> Flo: No.

I'm not -- I'm not trying to

defend myself here, but...

I tried to tell Thomas to do the

right thing so many times, and

every single time I did, he

would threaten to destroy my

life, and he meant it.

I was afraid of what he might

do.

I mean, should I have come

forward anyway and just -- and

just done the right thing? Yeah.

Yeah.

I should have, but I didn't.

You know, it's actually kind of

crazy, thinking about it now

because my mom told me what

happened with Thomas and the

fall that he took, and...

Despite everything, I am --

I'm glad that he survived.

>> Ridge: I'm sorry, I tuned

out in the middle there a little

bit.

Uh, what do you want me to do?

You want me to believe any of

this?

>> Flo: You don't have to

believe it if you don't want to,

but I'm kind of out of reasons

to lie.

>> Ridge: I never realized how

pretty you are.

A pretty young woman.

You could have had everything.

A family, a career, Wyatt...

Hope's gratitude...

But, no, you had to lie, right,

to continue to lie.

Hurt the people that cared about

you.

I just don't understand that.

>> Bill: Ridge went to see Flo?

>> Brooke: He's on a warpath,

determined to see justice served

because of what happened to

Hope, Liam, and Steffy.

>> Bill: Well, I'm glad to hear

that.

But this, uh -- this serving up

of justice, it's going to have

to include Thomas.

>> Brooke: [ Sighs ]

>> Bill: Trust me, Brooke, I'm

not gonna let him skate on this.

>> Brooke: I -- I would really

rather not keep talking about

Thomas.

>> Bill: Yeah.

I figured that there would be a

problem between you and Ridge

over him.

What happened at the cliffhouse?

>> Brooke: You know about the

fall?

>> Bill: That you were there?

Yeah.

>> Brooke: Yeah, I was there.

I was looking for Hope, and I

ran out back, and I saw Hope and

Thomas together.

He was grabbing her and yelling

at her, shaking her...

>> Bill: And you got in the

middle of it, of course you did.

I would have done the same.

>> Brooke: Yeah, of course I got

in the middle of it.

I'm sick and tired of him

bullying her and victimizing her

like that.

So I ran out there, I broke

them up, and I didn't realize

they were right next to the

cliff.

That's not what I was focused

on.

I was focused on his hands on

her arms.

>> >> Bill: Brooke, you --

Brooke, you don't have to defend

your position to me.

>> Brooke: Okay.

>> Bill: I completely

understand.

>> Brooke: Yeah, well, Ridge

doesn't.

>> Bill: Of course not.

He's never been able to see

Thomas for the monster that he

is.

That would mean admitting his

own failures as a father.

So, instead, he defends him,

tries to justify his

unjustifiable behavior.

>> Brooke: I didn't mean to push

him over the edge, Bill.

Really...

It was an accident.

My momentum had just kind of

pushed him backwards, and...

Of course, I'm the one to blame.

Ridge saw the whole thing.

I'm not sure we'll be able to

get past this.

>> Flo: I was afraid of what

Thomas would do, but I was also

afraid of what exactly what

happened -- losing everything

and ending up in here.

>> Ridge: So, in other words,

you thought of no one but

yourself.

>> Flo: I feel guilty every

single day, but, somehow, I just

manage to convince myself that

things would be better for

everyone if they just stayed the

way they were.

>> Ridge: Better for you.

>> Flo: Look.

You came here to talk to me and

ask me why I did the things I

did, and I'm just trying to

explain it to you.

Hope and Liam had ended their

relationship, and they had moved

on.

Hope had moved on with Thomas

and Douglas, and Liam was back

with Steffy, and they were

bonding with --

>> Ridge: Excuse me.

Do you have any idea the kind of

pain you put Steffy through?

She adopted a little girl.

She fell in love with her.

So much that she became part of

her DNA.

But it was all a lie.

And that lie broke my daughter's

heart into a million pieces.

But she's strong.

She did the right thing.

She surrendered the baby

with so much grace.

You know why I know that?

I was there.

I watched Hope and Liam walk out

of the house with that little

kid.

My daughter was there, and she

was strong.

Till she heard that little click

of the door closing on that part

of her life, forever.

And my strong, beautiful

daughter was standing there, and

it seemed as if someone had just

pulled the spine right out of

her.

And she collapsed into me.

My little girl.

And there's nothing I could do

to help her.

So, Florence...

I came here today

because I wanted to see you face

to face.

I wanted to tell you

how many hearts you have broken,

and I want to tell you --

I wanted you to acknowledge all

the pain and suffering that you

have caused.

My son is included in that.

He got caught up in your web of

lies.

And he almost died.

And you have nothing to say to

that.

>> Flo: Nothing that will

matter.

I've already told you I regret

everything, but that doesn't

help, and that doesn't mean

anything to you.

>> Ridge: No, it doesn't.

It doesn't mean anything.

You know what does help,

what does give me comfort?

Is knowing that you're gonna be

here for a very long time,

and, year after year, your

beauty and your youth is gonna

disappear, and the only thing

you're gonna have is the thought

of what you did to all these

people.

I'm not a bad person...

but I want you to suffer.

I want you to suffer the way my

family suffered, and, I promise

you, I will make sure you keep

on suffering until the last

broken heart is mended.
