I guess I was for like a moment.
I had this brand-new family,
and this glamorous job, a cousin
who was best friend, and...

First by that evil Dr.
Buckingham, and then by
Thomas Forrester.
I mean, at least he got what was
coming to him.

Hope's suffering just like that,
at any moment, and she did
nothing.
Nothing!
While we opened our hearts and
our arms to her and welcomed her
into the family.
>> Bill: Well, Flo needs to
suffer.
Xander, Zoe -- all of them.
They've got to pay a price,
and they are.
But Thomas...
He's still out there.
I don't give a damn that he's in
that hospital bed.
He perpetuated that lie in the
most heinous way possible.
He used his own son manipulate
Hope's grief as a mother.
And, all the while, he knows
that Beth is alive and well.
Well, what Thomas did is
unforgivable, and I'm gonna make
sure that Forrester's mess of a
son pays for what he's done.
>> Ridge: I need you to
understand something.
I'm not making excuses for
Thomas.
He's doing horrible things,
and he will pay the price for
him, but I got to talk to him.
I got to get to the bottom of
it.
I don't think he should lose his
life for it, right?
Which is what almost happened
because of you.
>> Brooke: [ Scoffs ]
It was an accident.
>> Ridge: Call it whatever you
want, but my son almost died
because my wife hates him.
>> Flo: He fell off a cliff?
How does that even happen?
>> Shauna: I don't know.
All I know is, it did, outside
of Steffy's house, and Hope and
Brooke were there, too.
>> Flo: Do you know anything
else?
Like, what went down with them?
>> Shauna: I don't know.
Maybe Hope finally had enough
and flipped out.
>> Flo: I guess I can't really
blame her.
I mean, after everything he put
her through, after everything we
all put her through...
>> Shauna: Well, mostly Thomas
and Reese.
Honey, when I think about
everything you've been through
in this situation, and you're
here...
I mean, you were manipulated by
Reese, threatened by Thomas...
>> Flo: Well, I let it happen,
Mom.
Is Thomas okay?
>> Shauna: I mean, do we really
care?
Honestly?
I know, I'm sorry.
Unfortunately, it looks like he
is gonna be okay, proving there
is no justice.
I mean, my baby is sitting in
this hole while Thomas gets to
live his cushy life.
[ Sighs ] I hope this isn't how
it ends.
Someone needs to make him pay.
>> Bill: Thomas Forrester tried
to steal Liam's life and leave
him with nothing.

Hope and Liam have Beth, they're
settling in as a family, and
they're making up for lost time.

love and raise this baby, only
to have to give it up overnight?

an end to this horrible
deception the moment he found
out about it, but, instead, he
doubles down on his own agenda
and lets everybody suffer.
Well, if he thinks falling off a
cliff is the worst thing that's
gonna happen to him, he is sadly
mistaken.
>> Katie: Bill, where are you
going?
>> Brooke: I don't hate Thomas.
I hate what he did.
How he tricked my daughter into
a loveless marriage by using
Douglas.
Come on, Ridge, I understand
that you want to forgive him,
but do you really need to defend
him?
>> Ridge: I'm not defending
anybody.
And I'm not forgiving him,
either.
I'm trying to figure out exactly
what happened, get to the bottom
of it.
He apologized.
That's a start, right?
He knows he's wrong.
>> Brooke: I mean, we've been
down this road before.
Thomas does something horrible,
life-threatening, even, and then
the apologies come out.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do
that, I'll never do it again."
[ Sighs ] I mean, he's done that
to Rick, and now to Hope.
And that's enough.
I'm not gonna have him targeting
my children.
>> Ridge: I'm sorry.
You know Thomas didn't steal
Beth.
You know that, right?
It was Buckingham and his little
sidekick, Flo.
But the only person you point a
finger at is my son.
>> Brooke: Well, he's family.
I expect a lot more from him
than a couple of strangers.
And any misgivings that I have
about Thomas, they are
well-deserved because of how he
treated my daughter, how he let
her believe that her baby was
dead so he could trick her into
a marriage.
>> Ridge: You don't -- You don't
think that bothers me?
You don't think I think about
that?
I think about it all the time.
But Thomas could have turned you
in.
He could have told Sanchez that
you were the one that pushed him
off the cliff, but he didn't.
And if he had, you'd be in jail
right now next to Flo.
He protected you.
So give him a break.
And you know the other thing,
the thing that I can't get out
of my mind, is you pushing my
son over a cliff.
>> Brooke: Ridge, I didn't mean
for him to go over!
>> Ridge: You didn't mean to,
and that makes it okay?
No!
What if Buckingham didn't mean
what he did?
He's the one I want.
But I can't get to him, not now!
But I can get to Flo.
>> Pam: Oh!
Ridge just blew past me.
Is there something that I should
know?
>> Brooke: Uh, I'm sorry, what
did you say?
>> Pam: [ Sighs ] There's just
been so much drama going on
around here.
Ridge just stormed out of the
office.
>> Brooke: Um, he went to see
Flo.
>> Pam: Oh. Well, good.
You know what, someone needs to
confront that girl.
I mean, frankly, the nerve of
her, Brooke, just innocently
sitting down at the Logan table,
and all that while, she's
responsible for this horrible,
horrible secret?
>> Brooke: Yeah.
It's terrible.
>> Pam: I -- I couldn't help but
pick up on the tension between
you and Ridge earlier.
>> Brooke: Uh... [ Scoffs ]
>> Pam: No, no, no.
I mean, Lord knows, it's totally
understandable.
You're two parents with two
children, and now one marriage
being annulled.
Then throw into that mix that
horrible fall, and...
the kind of strange
circumstances surrounding it...
>> Brooke: All right, Pam, you
know, I -- I just don't really
want to talk to you about this.
>> Pam: Oh, okay.
>> Brooke: Bill.
What are you doing here?
>> Pam: I'll, uh -- I'll leave
you two alone.
Hey, Bill.
>> Bill: Pam.
>> Pam: Adieu.
>> Bill: Turns out, you were
right to be concerned about
Thomas.
>> Brooke: Well, I didn't want
to be.
So I'm assuming you know what
happened?
>> Bill: To my son and your
daughter?
All the ways they were lied to
and manipulated?
>> Brooke: And now that Hope and
Liam are back together, they can
rebuild their lives, especially
now that they have their
daughter back.
>> Bill: And they will.
But the perpetrators have to
pay.
Each and every one of them.
Including Thomas.
That's what I came to tell
Ridge.
Where is Ridge?
>> Ridge: You seem surprised.
>> Flo: Very.
>> Ridge: Sit down.
The Logan girls.
Man, they loved you.
Storm's long-lost daughter.
The Forresters loved you, too.
One big, happy family.
And you lied to us from day one.
You saw Hope and Liam suffer.
You saw Steffy fall in love with
that little girl that was never
gonna be hers.

When Thomas found out about
Beth, you could have talked to
him.
He would have listened to you.
>> Flo: No.

I'm not -- I'm not trying to
defend myself here, but...
I tried to tell Thomas to do the
right thing so many times, and
every single time I did, he
would threaten to destroy my
life, and he meant it.
I was afraid of what he might
do.
I mean, should I have come
forward anyway and just -- and
just done the right thing? Yeah.
Yeah.
I should have, but I didn't.
You know, it's actually kind of
crazy, thinking about it now
because my mom told me what
happened with Thomas and the
fall that he took, and...
Despite everything, I am --
I'm glad that he survived.
>> Ridge: I'm sorry, I tuned
out in the middle there a little
bit.
Uh, what do you want me to do?
You want me to believe any of
this?
>> Flo: You don't have to
believe it if you don't want to,
but I'm kind of out of reasons
to lie.
>> Ridge: I never realized how
pretty you are.
A pretty young woman.
You could have had everything.
A family, a career, Wyatt...
Hope's gratitude...
But, no, you had to lie, right,
to continue to lie.
Hurt the people that cared about
you.
I just don't understand that.
>> Bill: Ridge went to see Flo?
>> Brooke: He's on a warpath,
determined to see justice served
because of what happened to
Hope, Liam, and Steffy.
>> Bill: Well, I'm glad to hear
that.
But this, uh -- this serving up
of justice, it's going to have
to include Thomas.
>> Brooke: [ Sighs ]
>> Bill: Trust me, Brooke, I'm
not gonna let him skate on this.
>> Brooke: I -- I would really
rather not keep talking about
Thomas.
>> Bill: Yeah.
I figured that there would be a
problem between you and Ridge
over him.
What happened at the cliffhouse?
>> Brooke: You know about the
fall?
>> Bill: That you were there?
Yeah.
>> Brooke: Yeah, I was there.
I was looking for Hope, and I
ran out back, and I saw Hope and
Thomas together.
He was grabbing her and yelling
at her, shaking her...
>> Bill: And you got in the
middle of it, of course you did.
I would have done the same.
>> Brooke: Yeah, of course I got
in the middle of it.
I'm sick and tired of him
bullying her and victimizing her
like that.
So I ran out there, I broke
them up, and I didn't realize
they were right next to the
cliff.
That's not what I was focused
on.
I was focused on his hands on
her arms.
>> >> Bill: Brooke, you --
Brooke, you don't have to defend
your position to me.
>> Brooke: Okay.
>> Bill: I completely
understand.
>> Brooke: Yeah, well, Ridge
doesn't.
>> Bill: Of course not.
He's never been able to see
Thomas for the monster that he
is.
That would mean admitting his
own failures as a father.
So, instead, he defends him,
tries to justify his
unjustifiable behavior.
>> Brooke: I didn't mean to push
him over the edge, Bill.
Really...
It was an accident.
My momentum had just kind of
pushed him backwards, and...
Of course, I'm the one to blame.
Ridge saw the whole thing.
I'm not sure we'll be able to
get past this.
>> Flo: I was afraid of what
Thomas would do, but I was also
afraid of what exactly what
happened -- losing everything
and ending up in here.
>> Ridge: So, in other words,
you thought of no one but
yourself.
>> Flo: I feel guilty every
single day, but, somehow, I just
manage to convince myself that
things would be better for
everyone if they just stayed the
way they were.
>> Ridge: Better for you.
>> Flo: Look.
You came here to talk to me and
ask me why I did the things I
did, and I'm just trying to
explain it to you.
Hope and Liam had ended their
relationship, and they had moved
on.
Hope had moved on with Thomas
and Douglas, and Liam was back
with Steffy, and they were
bonding with --
>> Ridge: Excuse me.
Do you have any idea the kind of
pain you put Steffy through?
She adopted a little girl.
She fell in love with her.
So much that she became part of
her DNA.
But it was all a lie.
And that lie broke my daughter's
heart into a million pieces.
But she's strong.
She did the right thing.
She surrendered the baby
with so much grace.
You know why I know that?
I was there.
I watched Hope and Liam walk out
of the house with that little
kid.
My daughter was there, and she
was strong.
Till she heard that little click
of the door closing on that part
of her life, forever.
And my strong, beautiful
daughter was standing there, and
it seemed as if someone had just
pulled the spine right out of
her.
And she collapsed into me.
My little girl.
And there's nothing I could do
to help her.
So, Florence...
I came here today
because I wanted to see you face
to face.
I wanted to tell you
how many hearts you have broken,
and I want to tell you --
I wanted you to acknowledge all
the pain and suffering that you
have caused.
My son is included in that.
He got caught up in your web of
lies.
And he almost died.
And you have nothing to say to
that.
>> Flo: Nothing that will
matter.
I've already told you I regret
everything, but that doesn't
help, and that doesn't mean
anything to you.
>> Ridge: No, it doesn't.
It doesn't mean anything.
You know what does help,
what does give me comfort?
Is knowing that you're gonna be
here for a very long time,
and, year after year, your
beauty and your youth is gonna
disappear, and the only thing
you're gonna have is the thought
of what you did to all these
people.
I'm not a bad person...
but I want you to suffer.
I want you to suffer the way my
family suffered, and, I promise
you, I will make sure you keep
on suffering until the last
broken heart is mended.
