Unforgettable Pain

Dammit...

Dammit! dammit!

I'm not gonna let the Hong Hua Hui end now!

With this...

I'll settle everything with this gun

once and for all!

It's no secret that Tai-Yan killed my sister.

I hate him for that.

But Kenshiro is not fighting Tai-Yan out of revenge...

He's fighting to settle things as a martial artist.

No one must interfere...

in this act of pride!

But... you'll die here too.

If it's for a Peng-You, I don't mind.

Casting aside your desire for revenge...

Could it be you value Yan Wang's heart as a martial artist more than your own life?

Save your breath.

You...

are truly a man of honor.

Then...

I shall tell you our true mission.

What?

Our mission...

has to do with Lord Tai-Yan's sorrowful upbringing.

The truth is,

Lord Tai-Yan was not the son of Da-Yan, the successor of Hokuto Sokaken.

This fact brought tragedy upon Tai-Yan when he was only six years old.

I guess I don't need a lighter anymore.

Cut the crap.

What did you mean by...

a fist of hatred can't surpass Hokuto Shinken?

I've already found the blind spot in your fist.

What?

You bastard...

It's too early for you to start smoking!

Genmu Hyakkikyaku!

Didn't you hear me?

I said I found your blind spot.

What!?

N-no way... Why?

My Hyakkikyaku...

Still don't get it?

Then I'll tell you.

Your fist acts somewhat like a whip.

There comes a point when the whips focus on their attack.

That fraction of a second is your blind spot.

That's not possible.

There's no way you can see their focal point in that split second!

I...

can see it.

What a terrifying technique.

I can't win like this.

I can't win!

But I...

I have yet to fulfill my revenge! My revenge!

D-Da-Yan!

Damn you, Zhang Da-Yan!

Zhang Da-Yan!

For my mother!

Bakuryuu Yoentotsu!

Damn you!

For my mother!

For my mother!

For my mother!

Why?

Why can't I hit him?

Why can't my fists strike Da-Yan?

K-Kenshiro!

Enough already.

You should understand by now.

Exactly.

Hate has clouded your fist.

Your fist appears to be a brute fist, but it's actually very flexible. It's a fist made for surprise attacks.

But it's all for killing your father Da-Yan.

A fist made for surprise attacks?

Whereas my fist allows me to cleanse myself from wicked thoughts, and think of nothing but perfecting my fist.

This allows me to contend with the Gods themselves.

A fist made for surprise attacks cannot defeat my own!

Hokuto Shinken can see through everything...?

We are not on the same level!

I'm so weak...

Has my fist become so tainted?

I masked myself as a demon

to exact my vengeance...

When did that...

become my true face?

Strike them.

Strike my pressure points.

These fists...

cannot fulfill my wish.

Even the heavens are telling me to die.

I'm fine with that.

No, you can't die yet Tai-Yan.

You're...

The Second Star!

W-what are you doing?

This is the Goshamonto's true mission!

Successor of Hokuto Shinken, please...

Please let Lord Tai-Yan...

live a little longer!

In exchange...

for my life!

What?

You see, our mission is...

to serve Lord Tai-Yan until he surpasses his master, Zhang Da-Yan!

What was that?

Those...

Those are the orders of the successor of Hokuto Sokaken, Zhang Da-Yan!

T-that's not possible!

Why did Da-Yan give such an order?

To think the great Da-Yan, successor of Hokuto Sokaken,

would be so concerned...

What are you saying?

Then again...

this has gone on for many years.

Yes, that's true.

It was a long journey

that all began that night.

Indeed.

Looking back, our journey has been...

nothing but a long, thorny path of suffering.

Lord Tai-Yan...

Do you remember...

the night your mother passed away?

How could I forget!?

Something else, happened on that night...

Something you are not aware of.

What?

It was...

the eve of Lord Tai-Yan's sixth birthday.

As you already know,

Tai-Yan's mother, was already pregnant when she married.

However, this was kept secret,

and she married our master Da-Yan.

Da-Yan

finally found out, and...

How dare you...

How dare you deceive me for these past six years!

I'll kill you both right here!

You bitch... you dare resist me?

Very well.

Please wait!

Master!

Please wait!

Master, you mustn't!

Don't you have any loyalty to your wife?

Be silent!

Don't you dare interrupt me!

Tai-Yan...

Tai-Yan has committed no sin.

You wish to die resisting me?

No,

I have already prepared myself.

Please...

take my life...

in Tai-Yan's place!

Let Tai-Yan...

live...

I beg you...

Have mercy...

S-so Zhang Da-Yan... didn't kill my mother?

She... She committed suicide to protect me?

That is the truth.

But in this circumstance...

it was natural to jump to conclusions.

I...

was mistaken in my vengeance?

No.

You were not mistaken at all.

If she had not committed suicide...

I would surely have killed his mother myself.

But that set your destiny in motion.

A very great destiny.

Fool

My mother...

is sleeping

This child...

But...

my mother will be lonely if she's alone!

Let me be with my mother!

Are you...

not afraid of death?

I will protect my mother!

I will protect her!

Let go! Let me go!

I'll protect my mother!

Let me go... Let me go...

What a child...

His affection for his mother is so great he does not fear death.

This boy will become strong

Without a doubt he will become strong.

In that case, this boy...

This boy will be my successor to Hokuto Sokaken.

From that time on, Master Zhang Da-Yan

entrusted us and the fate of Hokuto Sokaken

to Lord Tai-Yan.

And so his successor would surpass him,

he hid the truth of Tai-Yan's mother,

and became his adversary.

He watched over Tai-Yan's growth.

And in the end,

he became skilled enough to be worthy of being your successor.

Why?

Why must you... and my Mother...

give up your lives for me?

It's only natural.

We give up our lives

because our hearts were swayed by your tears for your dead mother.

My tears...?

If we had parents of our own,

could we have fought back our tears as bravely you did that night?

Lord Kenshiro...

Please listen...

to our request!

Second Star!

Second Star!

Second Star!!!

The elimination of the Hong Hua Hui is almost over.

Kenshiro...

should have also settled his fight by now.

But Ken's still in that ship.

You really think the men of Hokuto are gonna just let themselves die in that fire?

That's true.

Well,

I guess you could say this is the end of the Hong Hua Hui.

Let's keep watching...

until it burns out.

Right.

Forgive me, Second Star.

This is all my fault...

But... you're too late!

I lived only for revenge, and did things that can't be undone.

I stole brides, I killed women,

and I even single-handedly ruined the Hong Hua Hui!

I no longer

have the right to be the successor of Hokuto Sokaken.

Kenshiro!

Now, do it.

Gimme a break!

Boss Tai-Yan!

If you die, the Hong Hua Hui will truly be over!

Now, move!

I'll shoot Yan Wang down!

Then,

we'll finally get to beat the Qing Bang,

and restore the Hong Hua Hui!

Now, move it!

Guise!

That's right.

I deserve to die by your hand.

Tai-Yan...

as the successor of Hokuto Sokaken,

you must challenge your father.

Kenshiro,

I will allow Tai-Yan to live a little longer.

This is

my offering to the spirit of my sister Sophie.

Is this...

the destiny of those who are burdened by the stars of Hokuto?

W-why, Guise?

I killed your sister...

Never forget the pain of this scar!

I understand.

I swear by this scar that I will never forget!

I can see it! I can see it!

That is our Hokuto destiny!

I see the death star!

Indeed,

then the one to take your life will no doubt be Zhang Tai-Yan!

Come now, Tai-Yan.

The time has come to fight with me, the successor of Hokuto Sokaken, Zhang Da-Yan!

Come forth and take it all for yourself!
