Zhang Tai-Yan`s Secret Technique

T-that's the ship.

Yeah, no doubt about it.

To think that the Hong Hua Hui were hiding here...

Kenshiro must have set that fire.

He doesn't want anyone to interfere.

He's going to settle his fight with Tai-Yan here and now.

That's right.

Hokuto Shinken and Hokuto Sokaken...

Regardless of who wins... Their fight will soon be resolved.

But Ken didn't have to set the ship on fire...

No, he did.

The fire is his way of telling us not to meddle.

He's not a gangster.

He's been a martial artist from birth.

Alright!

He's finally given us this opportunity.

Don't let any Hong Hua Hui rats get away!

Yeah!

The ship's burning...

We don't have time to put it out! It's done for!

Let's run!

Wait!

The boss...

Boss Tai-Yan's missing! Boss!

Boss Tai-Yan!

Huh? Who's that?

Yan Wang!?

That bastard...

So he's the one who did this

Chen the Weasel told me that the woman bandit Xui-Bao, looks like your dead lover...

Yu-Ling, was it?

So that's why you fell for her, huh?

Why do you ask me that?

If that's the only reason, then you better give up.

She's too good for you.

That's kind of you to say.

But why are you after that woman?

Now you're the one asking unnecessary questions.

But I'll tell you. Listen up.

No man can equal the amount of women I've been with.

So I can understand...

the heart of a woman who has renounced everything.

I haven't fallen in love for a long time.

I don't mind spending the rest of my life with her alone.

I don't need other women.

That's why I'm telling you to give up!

I don't care about the rest of your life.

You won't get to live much longer.

Still, I'll let you in on a little secret before you go to Hell.

She not only looks like Yu-Ling...

She is Yu-Ling!

She just lost her memory.

What?

She is Yu-Ling...

that's why you can't have her.

That's pretty amazing!

But have you forgotten?

I'm also known as the Bride Thief.

If you're her man, then it looks like I'll have to fight for her...

For Li Xiu-Bao...

Pan Yu-Ling!

Chief.

Have you found out what's going on?

Yes.

The fire's coming from Pier 16.

It looks like the Qing Bang are attacking the Hong Hua Hui's secret hideout.

That means...

Now's the time. Should we go back up the Qing Bang?

If we do, we can take advantage of the confusion,

and put an end to Tai-Yan!

Then you'll have one less man trying to court you!

No.

Our only objective,

is to surrender to the army.

I don't wish to get involved in any other conflict.

Is that so?

But...

But...

In that fire...

I feel like there's something very dear to me in that fire.

Now I have something to ask you.

I thought Ling-Wang had killed Yu-Ling.

Ling-Wang robbed Yu-Ling of her memory, but he didn't kill her.

He later entrusted her to a brigade of bandits.

I don't get it.

Why didn't that Grim Reaper kill her?

Ling-Wang...

loved Yu-Ling too.

This is the woman I loved.

That's right.

Even if I took her as compensation for a death,

my love for her was real.

This woman is...

my one and only...

I see.

So Ling-Wang fell for her too...

Yu-Ling...

Yu-Ling...

really is a woman worth taking!

Hokuto Sokaken's Hidden Secret Techniques: Bakuryuu Yoentotsu! Bakuryuu Yoentotsu = Exploding Dragon Heat Wave Thrust

You won't be able to see my fist.

Could this be...?

This is a fight between Hokuto and Hokuto.

Whoever strikes the other's pressure point first wins.

In this case, I have the advantage!

I thought Hokuto Sokaken was a brute style.

There is no fist I cannot see.

Then see for yourself!

That was close.

What's wrong? Why are you so surprised?

You thought I was just a mere playboy, right?

Yeah.

It seems so.

But what was that technique?

That wasn't Hokuto Sokaken.

It's the Hidden Secret Technique: Bakuryuu Yoentotsu.

It's a technique I developed myself.

What!?

I created it to wipe out Hokuto Sokaken!

And by defeating you, this fist will be complete.

To wipe out Sokaken!?

That's right

I will kill the successor of Hokuto Sokaken, Zhang Da-Yan!

Why? Isn't Zhang Da-Yan your father?

When I was young, he killed my mother right before my eyes...

Zhang is my mother's family name.

I took it on myself, and forsook my father's family name Zhang... Though pronounced identically in Chinese, the characters for Tai-Yan's and Da-Yan's surnames are different.

So I would never forget my grudge!

I see.

Now I understand why you're so obsessed with women.

Shut up.

I can already see my father in a pool of blood in your place!

Well, you want to try it again?

Nothing can work on me twice!

You sound pretty sure of that.

But you haven't seen the true power of my hidden secret technique yet!

That's...

Mueikyaku? Mueikyaku = Shadowless Kick

Too easy, too easy, too easy!

After seeing my Bakuryuu Yoentotsu, did you really think I wouldn't have a kicking technique too?

Is this Hokuto Shinken?

How ugly.

It's not your fault though. If anyone's to blame, it's your master for letting its secret techniques erode in Japan.

It's not your fault though. If anyone's to blame, it's your master for letting its secret techniques erode in Japan.

My master has nothing to do with it.

My master...

Just who do you think you're bad-mouthing?

If you've got a problem with Hokuto Shinken...

Then tell it to me!

And I was being so polite in telling you that your weakness wasn't your fault.

Like I said, if you've got a problem with Hokuto Shinken...

Then tell it to me!

The stars of Hokuto are burning even brighter tonight.

It seems the successor of Hokuto Shinken, Kasumi Kenshiro,

and the successor of Hokuto Sokaken,

in other words, your son Zhang Tai-Yan, are fighting to the death in Shanghai.

Hokuto calls out to Hokuto for them to fight each other and strengthen their fists.

It is an unavoidable destiny that repeats itself every time the world falls into chaos.

The reign of Hokuto Sonkaken is over...

And now Hokuto Sokaken?

Besides... don't you see the Death Star too?

If you can see it,

then one of them will survive and come for your life.

That means...?

My Mueikyaku is now the Genmu Hyakki Kyaku! Genmu Hyakki Kyaku = Exotic Hundred Phantasm Kicks

This mysterious technique is legendary.

What's wrong, Kenshiro?

You must have heard of it.

I learned that kick from the invincible hermit Li-San,

and added my own spin to it with Bakuryuu Yoentotsu!

Not even you could see my arms or legs move!

Hey! You guys!

Where have you all gone?

Wait! Where are you going?

If we run, the Hong Hua Hui will be done for!

That's easy for you to say...

But if we die on the ship, we'll still be done for, yum yum!

Running is our best choice!

Then let me show you the way.

Really?

Thank you!

The way...

to Hell!

And don't ever come back...!

That's enough. Save your bullets.

Don't leave a single boss alive!

Don't leave a single boss alive!

It's all over...

U-um...

You are...

What good timing...

Do you know where Lord Tai-Yan is?

Isn't Lord Tai-Yan fighting Yan Wang?

Where are they? Where are they fighting?

I-I think... they're belowdecks in the boss's room.

You knew this and you were still going to run away?

N-no! I was trying to stop them...

That's enough!

Let's go! We know where he is now!

Easy for you to say...

I-I can't take this anymore!

Hurry!

Hurry!

We must hurry before this battle is over...

We must stop them before it's over!

What are you doing?

My smoke went out.

What?

You're pretty good.

I feel great...

It's been a while since I felt like this.

You're arrogant even in defeat.

I can finally fight against a worthy opponent.

Is there anything greater for a martial artist?

However...

this is hardly the time to be smoking.

You bastard...

I'll extinguish your life like I extinguished that cigarette!

Take this! Bakuryuu Yoentotsu!

What?

Those movements...

They're inhuman!

Hurry up! This is all our fault!

Yeah. We were too careless.

It's true that Lord Tai-Yan

received unequaled training from the hermit Li-San.

But... there once was a man who defeated Li-San...

Yan-Wang's father, the previous successor of Hokuto Shinken,

Kasumi Tesshin!

His Hisho Keiko overcame Li-San's phenomenal speed. Hisho Keiko = Flight Motion Technique

But what is truly fearsome...

is Hokuto Shinken's Raibo Shinkyaku! Raibo Shinkyaku = Raging Thunder God Kick

Please wait for us, Lord Tai-Yan!

Wait for us to give our lives in exchange for yours!

I can't let you do that.

What?

Who's there?

I won't let you past here.

Too slow, too slow!

You slowness is making me sleepy!

The speed and impact of your imprints almost look like bullets on those steel surfaces... Impressive technique.

I could barely keep up with you...

You're pretty good yourself.

You also managed to dodge my attacks on your pressure points.

You're worthy of your reputation. I'll give you that much.

But now that you're behind me, your life is mine!

Take this!

My arms and legs can bend like whips! There's no dead space behind me!

I have you now!

You damn acrobat...

To think you could dodge that kick...

The brute Sokaken brushed up its fluid techniques quite well.

You were close. Really close.

What did you say?

A fist filled with hatred can never surpass Hokuto Shinken.

That's right

It's impossible for Tai-Yan's fist to surpass Hokuto Shinken.

But Zhang Da-Yan...

You can still see the Death Star, right?

That's what I can't understand.

The only one who would want to kill me...

is my son Tai-Yan, whose mother I slew.

But regardless of the school, the greatest warriors of Hokuto have brought forth innumerable miracles.

Then what miracles will the warriors of Hokuto bring forth when the time of Tian Ming is upon us? Tian Ming = Destiny determined by gods, Mandate of Heaven

Move! We implore you to move!

I will be your opponent.

I won't let you interfere in Kenshiro's fight.

N-no way...

At this rate,

they'll both burn to death!

What are you saying?

No matter how strong the flames are,

no one can stop their fight!

It's no secret that Tai-Yan killed my sister.

I hate him for that.

But... Kenshiro is fighting Tai-Yan...

not out of revenge, but to settle things as a martial artist.

No one must interfere...

in this act of pride!

But... you'll die here too.

If it's for a Peng-You, I don't mind.

What...

Casting aside your desire for revenge...

Could it be you value Yan Wang's heart as a martial artist more than your own life?

I am the sole surviving remnant of Hokuto Sonkaken.

I will risk my life here.

You are truly a man of honor.

Then...

I shall tell you the true mission of the Goshamonto.

We wish to carry out the orders of Zhang Tai-Yan's father...

As successor of Hokuto Sokaken, Zhang Da-Yan wants us to show his son the love he has for the martial arts.

Our mission is to convince Zhang Tai-Yan to reciprocate that same love towards his father once and for all!
