I was there. I saw Thomas with his hands on you. You were trying to get away.

>> Hope: No, I was. I was. When he showed up at the house, I didn't know what to think. I didn't know what he was going

to do, and then when I ran out the back... >> Brooke: He had you at the edge of the cliff!

I was terrified! You were in danger, Hope. >> Ridge: That's not what she said.

>> Hope: [ Sighs ] Mom, I could see how you might think that at the time. >> Ridge: He was threatening you

at all, was he? He was apologizing. >> Hope: That's true. >> Brooke: What?!

>> Hope: Look, Mom, I know how it looked. But Thomas... He wasn't threatening me.

>> Quinn: How badly was Thomas hurt? >> Eric: They're not sure yet. It has to be pretty bad, given

that fall he took. >> Quinn: Okay, so we should get to the hospital. >> Eric: No, no, no, no.

Ridge is there. He's gonna call back after they've done some -- some tests. Oh, God, Quinn...

This is too much. This family cannot deal with another loss. >> Quinn: No, that's not going

to happen. >> Eric: No. No, it's not. I'm still in shock that Thomas knew about Beth all this time,

that he kept this terrible secret from everybody. Including Hope! I'm worried about him.

I really am. It's just one thing after another, all this -- this unnecessary pain.

It all goes back to your friend and her daughter Flo. [ Door buzzes ] >> Shauna: Flo. Oh, honey.

>> Step away from the prison. Do not hand the prisoner anything or attempt any physical contact.

>> Shauna: Sorry. I'm just so relieved to see you right now. >> Flo: They didn't tell me that

it was you. I'm, um... I'm so glad you're here. >> Shauna: My baby girl,

I can't stand to see you locked up here. I am gonna figure out a way to get you out of here, you hear

me? We are gonna fix this, I promise. ♪♪

>> Quinn: I know you're worried about Thomas. I am, too. But Flo and Shauna had nothing

to do with Thomas' fall. >> Eric: Flo and Shauna have caused nothing but trouble for this family since they got here.

>> Quinn: Flo's been arrested. She could be facing years in prison. >> Eric: She committed a crime!

>> Quinn: She was accused. >> Eric: She's confessed. >> Quinn: To lying, to hiding the truth about Beth.

But I can't believe she would knowingly steal a baby! Eric, there has to be more to this story!

>> Eric: Are you defending her? >> Quinn: No! No, I'm just saying that I -- I can't wrap my mind around this

until I get a chance to talk to Flo or Shauna. >> Eric: Quinn, the damage has been done.

Why can't you see that? If our family has to suffer the consequences, then so does Flo. And her mother.

It was a big mistake, ever letting them come stay at our house. >> Shauna: I am so worried about

you. Are you okay? Are they treating you -- >> Flo: I'm scared, Mom.

>> Shauna: I know, baby. I know you're scared. I am doing everything I can to scrape together enough bail

money, but I got to be honest with you, it's not looking good. I am so sorry. I mean, if we were back in

Vegas, I would know who to call. >> Flo: No, Mom, I don't -- I don't want you doing anything crazy.

>> Shauna: Honey, it could take months before your case even goes to trial. I -- I can call a bail bonds,

or... >> Flo: No. This is where I belong. >> Shauna: Shh! Honey.

This is not where you belong. >> Flo: I betrayed my family. >> Shauna: That's not a crime. >> Flo: Yeah, but I was a part

of something illegal and horribly wrong, and I -- and I knew it. And I let Hope be in pain for

months, and I did nothing about it. Why should anyone do anything for me?

>> Brooke: What I saw was not an apology. >> Hope: Thomas was desperate, and he was expressing his regret

and his remorse. >> Liam: Yeah, where was his remorse all those months he was lying to you?

>> Hope: I agree. There is no justification for what Thomas did. But, it was just -- it was like

he suddenly woke up and realized what he had been doing, and he just kept begging me and asking me for forgiveness.

>> Ridge: So my son wasn't trying to hurt your daughter. He was trying to make amends. And you pushed me off a cliff.

>> Eric: I hate this. >> Quinn: I know you want to help. And, in spite of everything he's

done, you love Thomas very much. >> Eric: None of this should have happened. >> Quinn: I know!

I'm appalled by all of it. I just -- I can't square it, Eric. I have known Flo and Shauna for

years. They were there for me and Wyatt when we had absolutely no one. Eric, Flo is not a monster.

She's a sweet, thoughtful young woman who I wanted to be my daughter-in-law. Thomas has made mistakes, but

you still think that he's an inherently good person, right? I feel the same way about Flo. ♪♪

>> Shauna: We got to get you out of here. >> Flo: I had a way out. I wanted to tell the truth.

>> Shauna: That wasn't gonna keep you out of jail. >> Flo: You know, you're right. It was always gonna end this

way, and I knew it. Every minute that I spent with Wyatt and Hope and getting to know my new family, I -- I knew.

I knew that eventually this secret was gonna come out, and I my whole... [ Sighs ] My whole world was

gonna come crashing down on me. >> Shauna: Your life's not over. Okay? Yes, people are angry, and

you're facing serious charges, but you're not doomed. There isn't even a trial set yet.

And the real criminal is Buckingham. You need to trust me. Honey, please, I know and I'm

sorry that you feel that I steered you wrong. But I've always had your best interest, and I still do.

Just have a little faith in your mom, okay? >> Flo: You can't fix this, Mom. >> Shauna: Well, you need

somebody in your corner that has some pull. >> Flo: Look, Mom, if -- if we can't even make bail, how

are we gonna afford some high-powered defense attorney? >> Shauna: We have a friend who can.

>> Brooke: No! No, Hope! I saw Thomas grabbing you! >> Hope: He was, and he shouldn't have, but I think he

was just trying to get me to listen. >> Ridge: You saw what you wanted to see.

You saw the guy that got between Hope and Liam, the guy that hurt Rick. >> Brooke: Oh, my God, Ridge,

what are you talking about? >> Ridge: And now his life will never be the same again. >> Brooke: [ Scoffs ]

>> Liam: Hey, guys! Guys! >> Ridge: Thomas! Doctor, how is he? >> Mr. Forrester, it's best if

you wait out here. >> Ridge: No, I got to go see him. >> No. Please.

>> Brooke: What did the tests say? >> I'll be back in a few minutes to give you all an update, okay?

>> Ridge: Did you see him? He's still unconscious. Why? Why did this have to happen?

>> Flo: Quinn? She's not gonna help me. >> Shauna: Honey, she's a dear friend.

>> Flo: And she's Eric's wife. She's not gonna jeopardize her marriage for us, Mom. >> Visiting time is over.

Get up. >> Shauna: Honey, Quinn loves you. She knows this isn't you.

You were used by Reese. You're a victim, not an accomplice. >> Flo: Mom, I can deal with

this. I need to take responsibility. >> Shauna: Honey, please, don't lose faith!

Let me talk to Quinn. She's not gonna let you rot in jail!

>> Quinn: I know from experience how easy it is to get in over your head. One bad decision leads to

another. >> Eric: [ Scoffs ] Well, I shouldn't have brought her up.

>> Quinn: Eric... >> Eric: Look, I -- I wish you could be more supportive.

Flo confessed to countless people. Now, I know she's like family to you, but look what she's done to

our family. >> Quinn: I am so sorry for the pain and turmoil that Flo has caused everyone.

My heart is broken for Steffy, who -- who was just trying to do a wonderful thing by adopting a baby who needed a mother.

And my heart is devastated for Liam and Hope, who had to mourn the loss of their child that wasn't even gone!

I know why you're upset and why you don't want to talk about Flo. Because you're worried about

Thomas. You want to be there, you want to do something because it's who you are.

>> Eric: No. No, no, no. No, we'll stay here. As soon as Thomas wakes up, Ridge -- Ridge will call.

But he hasn't called. That can't be good.

I'm afraid that my grandson's condition is very grave.

>> Hope: Hey. Mom... Thomas is going to be all right. Okay?

Besides, he -- he needs to fight so that he can be here for Douglas. >> Liam: It'd be about time.

>> Hope: [ Sighs ]

[ Door opens ] >> Ridge: Doctor, what's going on? >> Brooke: Any change?

>> All right, Thomas is still unconscious and we're waiting for the results of the CT scan. But his initial X-rays were

negative for skull fracture, and his vital signs show no indication of subdural hemorrhaging.

>> Ridge: Okay, that's good. >> Now, we are monitoring his intracranial pressure very carefully.

If that continues to rise, we may need to perform emergency surgery. >> Brooke: What?

>> Ridge: What? >> Brooke: Oh, my God, brain surgery. >> To release the pressure,

okay, of the cerebral edema. We are treating him with oxygen therapy at present, okay, in hopes that we might be able to

manage the swelling. >> Hope: Well, how bad it is? >> Significant. >> Brooke: But you do think

he'll wake up. >> We're monitoring him very carefully. Now, it might help me to better

understand his condition if I learn more about this fall. Were any of you with him at that time?

>> Hope: I -- I was. >> Okay. Was Thomas altered in any way? Confused?

Did he faint? >> Hope: No, nothing like that. >> So, he just fell? >> Ridge: Doctor...

I've been waiting out here for any kind of news, and I just really want to go see my son. Can I do that?

>> Okay. Just keep your visit brief. >> Ridge: Thank you.

[ Monitors beeping ]

>> Shauna: Oh, good, you're alone. >> Quinn: Shauna? >> Shauna: Oh, Quinn, I took

such a risk, asking Security where to find you because I figured my face would be on a "Wanted" poster behind the desk.

>> Quinn: You're right, if anybody knew you were here, I... >> Shauna: So obviously you know.

Quinn, I'm so sorry. I didn't know where else to go. My baby's in jail. >> Quinn: How is she?

>> Shauna: She's terrified, and so am I. Flo is not a criminal. She doesn't know how to deal

with prosecutors and defense attorney. >> Quinn: Have you spoken to her lawyer?

>> Shauna: I can't afford to hire an attorney. I can't even make bail. I feel so helpless.

And, Quinn, you have been such an amazing friend to me all these years. You know, we've raised our kids

together, we've supported each other, and when we came to Los Angeles, you invited us to your home, and...

And I'm sure you're really angry with us and you have a million questions, and you have every right to feel like you were

betrayed. But Flo is not evil, honey. She is still the same sweet girl that you've loved and admired,

and -- and she's made terrible choices. And -- And so have I. >> Quinn: So...

Are you saying what I've heard about Beth, about Flo helping to swap the babies is true? >> Shauna: Flo does not belong

in jail. And I really, really need your help to get her out. Quinn, I am so desperate.

My baby girl, she's not gonna make it in there. I -- I don't know what to do. I am begging you.

Will you please, please help us? Will you help me get my baby girl out? >> Hope: She feels so badly.

>> Liam: Yeah, of course. I would, too, if someone was accusing me of throwing their son off a cliff.

I mean, the fact that they're even fighting is crazy. >> Hope: Hi. Hi. >> Brooke: Honey, you really

weren't in danger? I mean, Thomas really -- He was really just trying to apologize?

>> Hope: Mom... There is absolutely no way that you could have known... >> Brooke: Oh, God...

>> Liam: Listen, an apology wouldn't fix what he did, and this -- this whole accident isn't going to erase it, either.

Brooke, you were -- you were acting out of genuine fear. The guy was terrorizing his own son.

>> Brooke: Oh, God, poor Douglas. I -- I don't know... >> Hope: We are all gonna be

there for Douglas. >> Brooke: I know, but he loves his daddy so much. >> Hope: Look, I know we're all

worried about how this is going to affect Douglas, but, Mom... I'm also worried about you and how this is gonna impact you and

Ridge. >> Brooke: Honey, of course Ridge is upset to see his son laying there in a hospital bed.

>> Liam: Yeah, Ridge is upset, he's emotional, but he knows -- He's got to know that you would not intentionally hurt Thomas.

>> Hope: Yeah, and we have to make sure that he understands that. >> Brooke: Yeah.

Yeah, I can try. I just -- I just don't know what to think because... I-I don't know how he's going to

react if Thomas doesn't recover.

>> Ridge: Hey. [ Sighs ] You got to wake up. You don't want your mom and your

sister to see you like this. It would scare them. And even when you were a kid, that was always your thing.

You wanted to make sure that your sisters weren't scared. You always took care of them. So you got to be okay.

You got to be okay for Steffy and for your mom. And for Douglas. That little boy loves you so

much. Even after everything that happened... [ Sighs ]

I know what you were trying to do. You -- You were trying to create a family for him.

You were trying to have a home for him, but you did it all wrong. You can't --

You can't do that. You can't just keep a lie like that from people. I mean, how -- how did you keep

that from Hope? From Liam... From Steffy... [ Sighs ]

Hope said you apologized to her, that you tried to explain why you lost your way, and that's good.

It's a long road back, you know that, right? But you're on it. And I'm on it with you.

And I'm gonna take your hand. And I'm gonna guide you back to your family, to your friends...

And we're gonna make this the way it's supposed to be, all right? We're gonna fix it.

But you have to wake up.
