he wants a script that follows his outline exactly.

Unfortunately,

I haven't been able to find the original outline.

So I was wondering if I could just take a look,

Look kid, I did read the outline.

And the only thing that's salvageable in it was the title.

Werewolf of Hollywood?

Not much of a title.

Well, Leo isn't much of a writer.

Matter of fact, it's a stretch for him to put his name on the pay roll check.

So don't you worry about Leo's outline.

I've got a lot of experience with producers.

They're children. Just like little children.

Miss Roamer here has seen every one of my films

and knows what makes them successful.

She appreciates the Tandoski touch.

Otherwise this thing never would have gotten the green light.

They won't see it until it gets into the theaters.

That's just the way I want it.

And gets into the theaters it's gonna be my story on the screen,

And that's why yoou're not gonna touch things up.

what is the story anyway?

Buzz seems to have misplaced the outline.

I left it with my hopes and dreams.

And your talent.

The basic idea is simple, Miss Roamer.

A top Hollywood executive

is in fact, a predatory werewolf.

During the full moon he turns into a blood crazed beast.

Now most of the time, those closest to him,

can keep him caged up during the crucial hours.

But over the years,

he has managed to escape more than a few times

to seek it's victims in the Hollywood hills.

Sometimes even at the back lot of his old studio.

Sweet Leo.

Quiet. Then,

a courageous producer on the lot,

a young William Holden type,

who has had a dozen money making pictures,

but still hasn't been promoted like he was promised.

He stumbles on a secret.

He investigates.

And uncovers the string of brutal murders and vows

to unmask the werewolf before the next full moon.

There's gonna be a full moon tonight.

Yes.

Okay, hear me on this, alright?

Movie stars are attractive.

Plus they attain great wealth and fame

without any significant talent.

That's the American dream.

Hunkle, you're giving me a headache.

So we make the werewolf a big star and the hero is

a screenwriter,

and they both fall in love with the starlet of the movie.

Excuse me, Mr Tandoski?

Maybe I'll minus a page here,

but this outline doesn't have an ending.

Yeah, well, that's it's strong point.

That outline is gonna go on screen as written.

That will make Billy Mariner sorry he ever...

[DOOR OPENS]

BUZZ: A bloated full moon dangles in the ebony sky.

We move in slowly.

A young assistant, who sits alone,

nervous at her shadow shrouded desk,

she gasps in terror.

Her impressive torso heaves,

lasciviously. Suddenly,

[SCREAMS] [SCREAMS]

Excuse me, I was just getting caught up in the vividness of my own prose.

Right.

Where'd you leave off?

About two pages before you came in.

Look, Buzz.

I know I'm new to this business,

but doesn't it seem to you that Mr Tandoski is behaving a little bit...

Look kid,

Tandoski thinks Mariner is gonna fire him

so he's working up some kind of story revenge.

But that's what I don't understand.

How can he get revenge on Billy Mariner with a werewolf movie?

Because any movie based on his nitwit outline

is gonna die an agonizing death at the box office.

I mean, look at this stuff.

Leo can't even make up his own mediocrity.

He could have stolen from the newspapers.

Chiropractor cut up and found in his backyard.

A limo driver folded over four times and found in his trunk.

These are real murders. I'm convinced of it.

And that explains why the outline reads the way it does.

The producer pokes around in old newspapers.

The producer roots through the studio file.

He even has the nerve to call the producer Leo.

I mean this guy's got toys in the attic and it's all broken.

But do you think that's all there is to it?

[BOTH EXCLAIMING IN HORROR]

Mr Tandoski. Oh, god! [BREATHING HEAVILY]

BUZZ: I don't know. It's either that or a great special effects job.

[DOOR OPENING]

[GLASS BREAKING]

I'm gonna take a look around.

[EERIE MUSIC PLAYING]

[GROWLING]

[CRASHING AND RUNNING]

[NOISES CONTINUE]

[RASPY BREATHING AND GROWLING]

Guess you've seen the newspapers, huh?

Yeah, it's the old cover up.

Studio security comes down at the scene of the crime, cleans up Loe's body,

No police, no fuss, no muss, no bother.

But why?

Why go to all that risk?

Well, two reasons, number one,

mysteriously murdered producers make bad press.

But more importantly, Billy Mariner himself is the werewolf of Hollywood.

He's what?

If I can prove that Billy Mariner is a werewolf,

it'll be a tremendous boost for my career.

I know what you're thinking. Blackmail is wrong.

Okay, loose the blackmail idea.

But I didn't just see that werewolf last night.

He saw me.

And I'm gonna get some proof to convince people.

Hey, wait a minute. You know, when that thing ran by me last night,

it caught it's sleeve on a flap.

If there is some threads from one of those custom sports jackets on there,

mixed in with some werewolf hairs,

then old bill is gonna have a lot of explaining to do, isn't it?

[DEEP SIGH]

Sometimes, I can remain human through a whole cycle of the full moon.

The pressures I'm under in this job and the stress,

where's the way to self control?

Sometimes it's a full moon,

someone makes me angry, I change, I kill.

[CHUCKLES]

That wasn't my plan, believe me.

I like to think of myself as a reasonable man.

Buzz, for the price of a little discretion,

you could be writing big pictures.

I mean, prestige productions

major stars, six figures.
