6:30 A.M. on April 21, 1648, Testament Era Drawing Room, Inquisition Ship

Care to read a book?

Judge. Could you bring me one?

Tes.

Also...

I would like my clothes back.

Tes. I will return them once they've been cleaned.

Suicide?

Correct.

7:00 A.M. Infirmary, Inquisition Ship

She may be an automated doll,

but her soul has assimilated an Armament of Deadly Sins.

The Far East is prohibited from possessing a weapon of mass destruction.

As such, she must take responsibility for the destruction of Mikawa

and return the Armament of Deadly Sins to the Testament Union by means of suicide.

I see...

Ouch! Hey, Gin!

Don't you have something to say?

Ready, start!

S-Sorry to have worried you.

Tes. And?

Thanks for taking care of me!

And?

I-I can't take any more!

Deputy, how do you feel?

No, Gin! You're killing me here!

And?

Uh, I just remembered.

What's that?

I'm back.

Tes. Welcome back.

What do you see?

You, as you are now,

lock your heart until you've summoned the strength you need

What do you hear?

Shall we speak of bygone days

in this secret, little room?

My memories embraced all mysteries and smashed them

with quiet prayers I overcame my suffering

and a new world began

I didn't know whether men could accept the future

like drinking wine

and threw all I had away

This new world lies in the vale between cold reason and utter miracles

Why was it here that I could meet you?

7:58 A.M. Normal Land Port, Mikawa

The Provisional Council has decided to link an assistant cargo ship to Musashi

8:04 A.M. Kakamigahara Checkpoint No. 2, Mikawa

as a temporary residential district for the refugees. Over.

Glad to hear it.

The proposal to transfer control of Musashi to the Testament Union

Advocate at the Confession Grounds

and relocate Musashi's residents to the Matsudaira domain in Edo was accepted.

Over.

Oh, I see...

At any rate, it's safe to say I'm being detained, isn't it?

Judge. It's because you stayed and played around, despite your promise only to grab a quick drink. Over.

But it was so nostalgic that I kinda...

You pissed?

I wish to ask about Lady Horizon. Over.

That was abrupt.

Don't you want to save Lady Horizon? Over.

But I'm not a student anymore.

I am well aware.

I, Shinagawa, have just arrived.

I just finished posting bail for Master Sakai. Over.

Sweet! In that case...

Leaving so soon?

Galileo, President of Padova Academy?!

You mean former president.

I am currently the vice president of the Chancellor Union in K.P.A. Italia, old boy.

That heretic king isn't the only one dropping by.

Long time no see, Sakai Tadatsugu.

Innocentius...

I hear you're still the chancellor.

It appears something happened between you. Over.

We scuffled a little about 20 years ago.

I may have lost then, but this time I'll win.

I'll take away the Far East's control over Musashi, make it Mikawa's representative,

give you an Armament of Deadly Sins, and put you on the front line against P.A. ODA.

I will not—

What's the matter, old boy?

It's a type of unorthodox spell.

Heliocentric Galileo, eh?

There's more to me than that, old boy.

Really? That's pretty cool.

Hear me, Sakai. K.P.A. Italia will take back everything it lost.

Even at the cost of someone's life?

Tes!

8:43 A.M. Musashi Ariadust Academy

Let's review our current situation, okay?

By inheriting rule over Mikawa,

Horizon also gained the power to represent the Far East and control over Musashi.

But the Testament Union will revoke all that when she commits suicide.

So the entire Far East is in a real pinch.

Plus King Yoshinao has taken back all our authority and won't make any statements.

And it feels like we aren't in tune with each other.

Let's see, Miriam, Mito, Masa, Seijun, and Azuma are all absent.

And...

After that incident, Aoi got chewed out until morning.

I see...

Mukai Suzu: About School Today Toussaint: Information on the Situation Tomo: You got it Azuma: Sorry

Contents: Sorry From: Azuma To: Ogasawara Heidi Sorry. I can't make class today. ~Azuma

Azuma and Miriam are under the Guard's "protection".

So they can't leave their dorm.

Masa's at Musashi's Engineering Club meeting in the central drive.

And Mito's attending Musashi's Nobility Club meeting with all the local landowners.

Mito's in a tough spot.

Right. If Horizon commits suicide and the Matsudaira main branch dies out,

the Mito-Matsudaira branch will become the Far East's representatives.

What an icky predicament...

Lastly, about Seijun.

Out of all of us, he's the only one who retained his authority as vice president.

It's because his father is on the Provisional Council.

Those siding with the Testament Union want to use him as a pawn.

He'll make a formidable foe.

Honda's skills as an orator shouldn't be taken lightly.

I wonder if everyone's trying to save Horizon...

Well, there's a lot going on,

but who wants to save Horizon and prevent a change in authority over Musashi?

Huh? No hands?

We need more info. Why don't you present that first?

You've got a point.

Shiro, got a sec?

What is it?

I'd like you to share your opinion as a merchant.

I'm in the middle of work.

But I think this is a big business chance.

Money?! Money's involved?!

Fine, I'll talk.

Everyone, listen up!

Scumbag!

Shut up and listen.

Now then, let me tell you what'll happen if we oppose the Testament Union.

INARI

Be

Far East Settlement

First, Musashi won't be able to replenish supplies at any ports.

This would mean our death as we only produce ten percent of our food.

Wait, doesn't Musashi have its own fields?

It's not enough.

Musashi's population is just under 100,000.

Even if we converted the Takao or Ome ships into nothing but fields, it wouldn't be enough to support everyone.

And we lack the manpower to support it.

Got it?

I-I feel like I've lost...

Fret not.

Ohiroshiki ought to know that much as he's in the cooking club and has a lolita complex.

Judge. That's a lolita-loving member of the cooking club for you.

No! I don't have a lolita complex!

In Testament-run Europe, the axiom of worshiping vitality

equals a type of religion that reveres the energy of youth!

Uh-huh. Just don't get caught while you're in school.

You've got it all wrong!

Back to business.

Musashi's reserves would only last for two weeks.

So it's game over if we try to defy the Testament Union.

Oh? You think so?

Mr. Scrooge, don't be mean and tell them already.

It's quite simple.

In order to gain supplies even while we defy the Testament Union,

we must force Honda Masazumi to side with us.

Sh-Shiro, that was kinda cool.

Yeah, right. But how do we pull that off?

First, we need to do something about our moronic chancellor and president.

Hey, hey, hey!

It's class time!

Today you'll be composing essays.

Essays, Teach?

Yep! You get one and a half hours.

The topic is "What I Want To Do".

But first...

I want you to watch this.

I think it'll give you a hint for the topic "What I Want To Do".

9:01 A.M. Hillside by the Normal Land Port, Mikawa

Uh, Gin? Why am I just standing here?

Tes. It's important that we show K.P.A. Italia that you are well.

Were our forces that heavily exhausted?

The Far East's colonel, Honda Futayo, wishes to talk.

Third Special Agent!

Honda Tadakatsu of the Far East's Mikawa area and Shin Nagoya Castle Academy special reservist

entrusted me to give this to his colleague of three years, Honda Futayo.

What about my father?

He shared a great deal with me.

Is that so?

This is being broadcast to Musashi and Mikawa's refugees, as well as to other countries.

At this rate, the Far East's people will surrender to the Testament Union,

get swept along, and ultimately accept whatever's in store for them.

But if I make my move now...

I'll prove that power and weaponry are still within the Far East's grasp.

So I must...

Soaring Wings Activated

...take Slicing Dragonfly away from Tachibana Gin!

She was trying to save face for the Far East.

But...

I hereby return the Shinto weapon Slicing Dragonfly.

I appreciate it.

I, Honda Futayo, swear upon Slicing Dragonfly that I shall surpass my father in rank.

Is anyone in the Far East even capable of sharing in her resolution?

9:30 A.M. Musashi Ariadust Academy

What I Want To Do

If that hadn't happened yesterday,

today would've been the big day he popped the question.

I... no, everyone, just wanted

Tori to spend today the way he was supposed to.

Let's see. First, he'd fondle her boobs.

No, no! That's too fast, even for him.

First, he's gotta confess his feelings!

Then they'd smile and fall into an embrace.

No, Horizon's an automated doll so she wouldn't smile...

Let's see, next would depend on just how self-absorbed Tori is.

Hm, how far would they go?

This far? No, maybe this far...

Eh?! That far?!

Yes, ma'am?

Do you need more paper?

Asama Tomo from Class 3-Plum Summary (Doesn't Include Honorific Titles) Tori got boobs. He decided he's gotta grope Horizon's boobs. Tori doesn't get politics. Tori is the Chancellor and president of the Student Council. He strips and plays erotic games. But he's very particular when it comes to boobs. Tori was supposed to leave home today. And walk a rather long distance to Blue Thunder in Tama. Tori lives with his unique 18-year-old... and I mean unique sister. Not that she matters any. Wait, no, she does. At any rate, the big day was coming up soon. As such, Tori held a meeting on the bridge to discuss the art of confessing one's feelings. He naturally asked the ninja about his failed attempts and then got sent flying after he groped the knight's boobs. Yep, he sure did, Tori has a childhood friend. It is Tenzo.

What I Want To Do

Time! Everyone's about done. So, Asama!

Yes?!

Could you read yours?

I-I can't! This... this isn't an essay.

Oh, then what is it?

I caught hold of an evil thought, so I sealed it into words on paper.

The incinerator! May I go to the incinerator?

After class.

Then, Suzu!

Y-Yes?

Is yours safe to read?

It-It's okay.

Can you read it?

No, I can't see.

Um, could someone else read it?

Asama, read it for her.

Here.

Are you sure?

Judge.

Then I'll present for you.

"What I Want To Do."

By Mukai Suzu from class 3-Plum.

Mukai Suzu from Class 3-Plum I have someone I love. I have for ages. We met a long time ago. It was at our elementary school's welcoming ceremony. I didn't wanna go. I didn't wanna go to the Academy. In my family, my mom and dad had work in the morning. They couldn't make it. I went to the welcoming ceremony alone.

"I have someone I love."

"I have for ages."

"We met a long time ago."

"It was at our elementary school's welcoming ceremony."

I didn't wanna go.

I didn't wanna go to the Academy.

In my family, my mom and dad had work in the morning.

They couldn't make it.

I went to the welcoming ceremony alone.

But I didn't cry so I wouldn't worry my mom and dad.

Still, I wanted them to congratulate me.

The Academy was high on the upper level.

I hate staircases, and there was a long one.

So I thought in front of the staircase,

"Do I have to climb up there even if no one will praise me for it?"

No one there noticed me as they went up with their moms and dads.

I was all alone.

But then...

Hey, what's wrong?

Why are you crying?

They were by themselves.

Their moms and dads were at work.

Let's go!

Really? The ceremony'll start. You'll be late.

That's cool! I'm a delinquent.

A what?

C'mon, let's go.

I still remember...

...the wind's smell and the sound of the falling cherry blossoms.

Before I knew it, I had scaled the stairs on my own.

Congrats!

Let's be friends.

"When I went home and told mom and dad about it, it made them happy and they congratulated me."

"They said, 'Good job!'"

"It made me cry again."

"Middle school was on the second floor, so there were no stairs."

"The high school has stairs out front, but I climbed them on my own."

"But only once, on my way to the welcoming ceremony, Tori took my hand."

It was my left hand, which Horizon had once held.

"It was my left hand, which Horizon...

But Horizon wasn't there.

"I love someone."

"I love Tori."

"I love Horizon."

"I love everyone."

"And most of all, I love Tori when he's with Horizon."

"Please! I'll be okay on my own now."

"So just like when you took my hand—

Please! Save Horizon, Tori!

Hey now, Belle! Don't underestimate me!

I was planning on doing just that.

Don't worry, Aoi Tori is here!

Tori...

Yep, that's me! I'm Tori!

Uh, um...

I'll be okay.

I'm all grown up now, you know?

Yep. It's incredible but true.

So I'm not like I used to be.

Yeah.

Let me touch you for a bit longer!

Don't kill the mood!

Hey, Belle. Can I amend one part?

Wh-What's that?

I didn't hold your hand out of concern.

Belle, you're so cute and kind that I wanted to hold your hand.

Everyone agree?

Judge!

Thank you...

Yup!

Finally up after crying yourself to sleep?

Huh? Say what?!

Go check that out!

Silly brother, what's with the naughty magazine?

Linking Multiple Covers

Extra Large Collection of Silver-Haired Characters (1)!!

It's the special edition with silver-haired babes, isn't it?

Yep, just like Horizon.

I snatched it after it got confiscated at the guard post,

and spent the morning charging up my manliness gauge.

You had me cover for you back there so you could get ready to charge your gauge?

I really appreciate it, Teach!

But don't be upset 'cause my pure and clean ways are lost on you.

I can't believe you're still a kid at 100,027 years old—

Ah, Mitsuki! Sorry 'bout that. I'll patch it up later.

Sorry for the fuss.

So, how exactly do you plan to rescue Horizon?

Now that's a toughie...

I'm at a loss.

Hey, Shiro!

Yeah, moron?

Pick up where you left off.

It'll cost you.

We'll hold a special student council meeting.

But we can't do that, remember?

We can only do that if the chancellor is the only one with any authority around.

So that's why they let Masazumi retain authority as vice president.

You just figured that out, moron?

Ms. O.

Yes?

Isn't there a way to hold that meeting despite our predicament?

More or less.

A special student council meeting held by normal students...

It could be for only one thing:

to pass a vote of no confidence.

If Masazumi doesn't come, he'll be dismissed as vice president,

and since no one of authority's left, we can hold a special meeting.

And if he comes, it'll be an official meeting.

Either way, we'll be able to make our decision.

We'll decide what to do about Horizon, Musashi, the Far East, and ourselves.

That's all I had to say. Would you like to make any closing remarks?

I'm a dumpling!

N-Not again!

10:15 A.M. Drawing Room, Inquisition Ship

Um...

What is it?

Lady Horizon, are you sure about this?

I can't say.

It's just...

When I heard of my origins, this crossed my mind:

"I'd rather be an employee at a café than a sovereign if I had the choice."

I probably won't get to meet different kinds of people there ever again.

I gather my dented courage and walk forward

because I swore to myself I would create my own future

Shower your light, O Star, upon the melody sprung forth here

and let me see your smile by my side

I kept on calling your name even as pain stabbed my body

I hope you will hear me some day, above the distant horizon
