What?

Hang!

Injustice!

Catch him!

Come on, hurry up!

Ah, perfect timing!

I have no objection to you carrying me.

Gyatso!

Now is not the time.

I'm getting old, you know?

My body doesn't move like it used to.

I'm right in the middle of something.

You are so heavy!

Is it heavy?

Me?

I don't eat anything but vegetables.

Pie is not a vegetable!

I will lose the race!

Race?

What race?

Hang.

As an airbender, whenever you It's important to know that you should keep it.

Even if you have the strength to win.

You are the Avatar.

Many people will rely on you.

Gone!

He escaped!

I am her!

I am her.

Hi, Momo.

Hi, Appa.

Did I sleep too long?

Okay, okay.

I even woke up.

I know, I know.

We have a job to finish.

Let's continue our journey.

We're going back to our old house.

This is our best journey Maybe not, but everything we find

The airbender heirloom is worth it all.

In this collection It may be the oldest piece.

Sonam.

I miss you.

Momo, go out with Appa.

Immediately!

Ah!

Ah!

Why

are you doing this?

Ah!

Ah!

Ah!

Stop!

I don't want to hurt you!

Where is he?

Where is he?

Hey!

They are antiques!

I found

Ah!

Sonam.

Why are they after you?

Fuck!!!!

this

A thousand years!

Stop!

Ha.

Maybe I can help.

We don't need your help, Avatar.

Sellers have all the power and we have nothing. We are tired of living in a world where we have no power.

Who are you?

We are the Rejected.

Rejected ones?

Kill him now!

No!

He'll bring this whole place down on us!

You... you saved me.

Kaleek!

Drop the map!

Let's go!

We must reach Republic City.

Appa!

Yip yip!

This.

Their tribe gets its power from the moon.

And it flows with the tides.

Soil.

The kingdom of an unshakable will.

Reliable and powerful.

Fire.

A nation capable of great destruction.

But also... great warmth.

Weather.

Peaceful nomads with hurricane strength.

But it has the spirit of a gentle breeze.

For generations, the Avatar has been one of the four elements.

His sole master kept the nations in balance.

But this responsibility is a child's When it fell on me, I ran away.

I was caught in a deadly storm.

But my Avatar soul remained for a hundred years.

He protected me inside a sphere of energy.

Avatar When I Wake Up the balance maintained by

I discovered that it had been destroyed by war.

The Air Nomads were gone.

All but one.

I.

My responsibility as Avatar I couldn't run away anymore.

I found allies in every nation.

Benders.

And non-benders.

Katara taught me waterbending.

Toph me earth trained in the ways of the benders.

I was once my worst enemy Zuko became my firebending teacher.

Sokka tells me about courage, being a man It showed that it was the most important part.

Being a leader.

We became a family.

And together we ended the Hundred Years' War.

Then rebuild the world We began the difficult work of building.

for a long time The nation fell apart and was left alone.

And we all suffered as a result.

But here, in this ancient site, all We have created a place where people are welcome.

Everyone, bender or non-bender.

To build the future working together in peace.

Even though there are still those who want to divide us, We remain united.

As a Council representative, I am here today from being, the anniversary of Republic City and.

Inauguration of the Unity Tower I am honored to congratulate you.

A symbol for all people.

I

I miss you too, old friend.

Hey!

Katara!

You are injured.

Take a deep breath.

And... exhale.

of the rejected I heard that the number is increasing.

But never before They didn't do anything.

Attacking the Avatar?

Yes.

They were incredible warriors.

Even if they don't have bending abilities.

Hop.

Ah.

Get through it by breathing.

Be honest.

You enjoy it.

Aang, this is serious.

Whatever map they got, kill the Avatar to take over

If they dare, What are they ready to do?

I don't know.

I'm worried about you.

More and more at the Air Temple You spend more time.

Alone.

This... is my way of holding on to my past.

How much is this for you? I know it's hard.

When I'm attacked, all I can think about is Everything could happen up to this point.

I am the last Airbender.

If I die, my culture And dies with me.

The Last Airbender You may be, but you are not alone.

Aang, none of this is you If you didn't exist it wouldn't exist.

With your heart and mind You made this city possible.

Thanks to you, all nations live here.

Together.

All but mine.

I know.

But people here still It needs your protection.

You are an Airbender.

The real Airbender.

But you are also the Avatar.

You are right.

Whoever this Sonam is, I need to learn more.

Aang.

Avatar Roku.

It's nice to see you again.

How can I help you?

All your life named Sonam Have you ever heard of an ancient Airbender?

I didn't hear.

But you can seek help You have many past lives.

Maybe more in the Avatar cycle Someone behind can help you.

Thank you, Avatar Roku.

I am sad.

I've never heard of the name Sonam.

Maybe before.

Not here.

Not here.

Back in the Avatar cycle.

A better place to sit I'm sure you'll find a place.

I am sad.

Hello?

Is there anyone here?

Hello?

Avatar Xion's vast knowledge Who calls out to his treasure?

Oh, hello.

It's a long way from mine You look like an Avatar from time immemorial.

Please, please, tell me about your period.

What are people wearing?

Are sandals still in style?

Well, yes.

Oh, why?

Why, after all these years, open fingertips, Seeing someone else's crusted cuticles?

Disgusting!

You are right.

Anyway, I'm here for your guidance.

You see, I was attacked.

It wasn't me, okay?

It wasn't me.

I know.

I think there's a girl named Sonam It might have something to do with the Airbender.

Sonam.

It sounds familiar.

Sonam.

Where have I heard this name before?

Aha!

Sonam was the youngest daughter of the shop owner

The opossum chicken shop at the corner market.

Wait, that was my ex Soniam.

I wish she didn't have those giant toenails.

Disgusting.

This isn't going anywhere.

Sonam?

Sonam?

Sonam?

Thanks for your time.

I must continue my search.

Oh, Sonam.

You're asking about the legend of the Lost Avatar.

Was Sonam an Avatar?

Indeed it was.

Airbenders' gold He was the Avatar of his age.

According to legend, the world of spirits able to channel his enormous energy,

unlimited power to its owner He had a wand that bestowed.

Is this... is this really possible?

Well, never for sure We will not know as such.

Many Avatars communicate with him They tried to establish it but they failed.

So completely disappeared It was as if it had never existed.

And maybe it's better this way.

Perhaps such a wand could be used by anyone It was too dangerous to have.

Even for Avatar.

But... but that's exactly it So I need to find it.

My attackers found a map.

This map should be leading to the staff.

Avatar Shion, please, where is You must tell me it is.

Legend has it that Baihu with Sonam's staff He says he got lost at the top of Mt.

Katara, so suddenly I'm sorry to leave.

But what about the Deniders? I found out you were after him.

Sonam's amazing He had a staff of power.

And in their hands It can be a devastating weapon.

They are one step ahead.

There's no time to waste.

You take Appa and Momo and gather the rest of the team.

We'll need help.

Next item on the agenda...

A Fire Nation navy his ship engaged with:

The so-called "rejects", the benders An extremist group of non-extremists.

ancient sites They are plundering... Your Majesty!

Your Majesty!

An urgent message has arrived from Republic City.

What arrogance.

Fire Lord Zuko's words...

He will divide the Fire Lord's council can send a message as urgent as

There is only one person.

From Avatar?

Yes, sir.

Read it to me.

Yes, sir.

Well...

What are you doing?

Read it quickly!

Yes, Grand Chamberlain.

Flamio Hartman, Ateş How is it going to lead your nation?

I hope that's the one you talk about in your letters The boring Chamberlain still doesn't bother him.

Anyway, getting to the point. I need your help if necessary.

Can you please come right away?

Oh, and while you're coming, Don't forget to bring sparkler donuts.

Let me introduce...

Sokka Vehicle.

The flames throw you into the sky, from there You can drop water bombs on your enemies.

Then help you make the landing safely. Skis pop out to be.

Pretty cool, right?

Well, boring.

Why when you can waterbend? Why would you need a sled?

Ah, ah, ah, like me, like me!

Don't forget that you're still like me There are many people who cannot bend.

Why is Avatar Aang a bender? Why partner with someone who doesn't exist?

Oh, why?

Let me tell you why.

I saved him from the iceberg.

I eliminate enemies with my faithful publication While doing so, my boomerang was flying next to him.

All Fire Nation airships I even took down its navy.

And on top of all this, I was more popular than him.

You're such a liar, Sokka.

It's from Avatar.

Wow!

Really?

Oh, so it's cool now? Do you think I am?

Okay, metalbenders.

Let's see if at least one of you apprentices Will it allow me to use my hands?

Earthbender on Earth!

And I'm bored.

Master Toph, you have a bird on your head.

So?

Looks like he has a message.

Read.

Well, it came from Avatar Aang.

He needs your help.

Is This Rejected?

Where is he?

Baihu Mountain.

Sonam?

Could this be you?

Ha?

Fuck!

Who are you?

Ha?

Set.

Avatar has come to the rescue!

Aang!

You came!

Before you run away to get yourself killed Couldn't you wait even a day before?

I thought you were looking for a wand here.

Who is this man?

An airbender.

How did he keep a huge mountain in the air?

Her piss is so strong, before like I've never felt before.

Hey, Avatar.

This man has been frozen for the longest time Think you broke the bender record?

Yes.

How long do you think he was in that ice?

I don't know.

His tattoos look... ancient.

It's been there for a long time.

He smells good for an old man.

Ugh.

What?

I feel this child He says she's quite attractive.

Talk!

Let someone else confirm it.

This is serious.

What does attractive mean?

Just give me clear confirmation.

Is she attractive?

He is very attractive.

Ha?

What?

Like that.

It all ends in bone structure.

Ha?

Whoop, whoop, whoop.

Hey.

Beware.

You are safe.

Earthbender!

No, no, no.

We are all friends here.

No problem.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the mountain.

Where is he?

Where is Avatar Sonam?

Did you know Sonam?

Who are you?

I don't know how to explain, But you've been sleeping for too long.

I'm the Avatar now.

I'm Aang.

If you are the Avatar, then Sonam...

Well, Sonam may be long gone but she's fine

On the whole, you woke up just in time.

Everyone's a different airbender He will be very surprised by what he sees.

Aang isn't last anymore.

What do you mean, the last one?

Oh.

Air nomads.

They were all destroyed.

Only I remained.

Sonam's staff.

Do you have it?

He's our only hope right now.

What do you want to say?

I thought it was a gun.

A staff is not a weapon.

It is a gift.

Sonam with him, of the spirit world He could channel his immense power.

Jorana's development It was this power that enabled it to flourish.

The largest city in the world.

An air nomad utopia.

Sonam is a golden balance where he led his era.

And I serve him my life Where I am committed to doing.

In return he exalted me and his staff using me, not a helpless bender,

gave him the power to bend air.

I was the first, but I wouldn't be the last.

It filled the sky with airbenders.

And we flew next to him, spreading peace to the world.

Aang?

Are you ok?

Sonam shows the staff to the people Used it to give bending ability.

If we find it, the weather I can bring bending back to earth.

That's incredible!

For over a hundred years We are not airbenders!

This is yours so far Everything you want, Aang.

The worst thing my nation has committed in war We can make amends for great atrocities.

This is rebuilding the world It may be the last step in doing so.

If Rejected Not if he gets there first.

They have the map.

Who are the rejected people?

violent bender A group of those who are not.

They... have the ability to airbend themselves. They must be after the wand to give it.

So there's no time to waste.

There's only one place it could be.

Prepare your bison.

We will have to cross the vast ocean.

To the other side of the world?

But there is nothing there.

There is an island.

The journey won't be easy, but we can make it.

Then let's get going.

The sky is a water child It is not a suitable place for

Water boy?

Well, you just woke up after thousands of years I know, but we do these things together.

Trust me.

We are stronger this way.

Welcome to Team Avatar.

What is your name?

Taga.

My name is Taga.

Just make it huge, metal Think of it like a weather bison.

ancient in the sky We will travel on the roads.

Our people, a long time ago The great man who taught us airbending

air bison herds the ways he learned by following.

Only by us known air currents.

Surrounding that great sphere of existence.

Travel wherever we want that allows us to.

The one who gave us our name.

Air Nomads.

What is he doing?

He's really feeling the vibe.

He finds his way with his instincts.

What if their instincts are just plain wrong?

When you have muscles like these Who needs instincts?

Or that he froze What if he has brain damage?

Like mine?

Well, no, no!

He was frozen for 5,000 years, okay?

As for you, how long, 100 years?

OK, this is nothing.

Your brain is... fresh.

Maybe he's a little old fashioned, but look at this.

It is so compatible with its element that nothing can cross the entire ocean without a map.

Without using any device.

There's a lot I can learn from him.

Air Bison again I'd give anything to see it.

And now, all that's left is Seeing that there is only one left.

Aang, you said our people were destroyed. Yet you survived. How?

I had just learned that I was the Avatar.

But the responsibility... was too much.

That's why I ran away.

And the Fire Nation attacked while I was away.

They were looking for me.

If... if I were just there...

Sonam, Air Nomads He said it was made of fog.

We walk through the world for a brief moment.

Then we return to the eternal wind.

Monk Yahtso taught me this.

We carry the same burden.

No one else probably A grief beyond comprehension.

But you and I can heal the past.

How strong is our element? Let me show you it can be.

When Airbenders work together.

That's what Sonam taught me.

Feel the energy that connects us.

The bond between us.

Can you feel it?

Use it.

This is great!

Yes!

Whoo-whoo!

Oh yes!

Human boomerang!

It really flies.

So are we.

Wow!

This is my best friend!

He's my best friend!

Throw me now!

my

dear, it was possible!

This is just the beginning.

I can't believe it.

Airbenders will fill the sky again.

We have been given a great gift.

A chance to redeem ourselves.

It was your destiny to find me on that mountain, Aang.

How did you end up there?

Earthbenders had attacked Turana.

Sonam and I fought fearlessly, side by side.

We pushed them back to Baihu Mountain.

And that's the last thing I remember.

It must have saved his life.

Just an Avatar you He could put it inside that sphere.

Aang, can I ask you something?

Certainly.

If Fire Nation Air If he destroyed his nomads, how?

to the existence of the Fire Lord can you fold?

Zuko is a friend and ally.

Help me end the war He disobeyed his own father.

Yet now he wears the crown himself.

Fire naturally burns, Aang.

Our kind is other He always suffered at the hands of the elements.

That's why we founded Republic City.

To the world, if we always listen to each other To show that we can live together.

In peace.

And the Airbenders are back When we bring it, it will be completed.

When everyone pulls to their own side, The entire world was nearly falling apart.

And also Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Toph, they're my family now.

that we can all be together I want to live in a world

You remind me so much of Sonam.

This is Avatar.

And this time he has his friends with him.

This is the Fire Lord's airship.

How did they get ahead of us?

They don't even have maps.

He reaches the staff first We can't take the risk.

Kill him.

But he spared our lives.

So while we wait for his return How many people died in those last hundred years?

Where was he when your parents died?

His family was destroyed.

If we want things to change, We need what the benders have.

Strength.

Are you crushing the ship?

Taga?

Taga, stop!

We are here.

Immortal Storm.

I can't be.

There must be another way around it.

No.

ship with you We can make a way for you.

But we have to go now.

Aang.

Trust me.

Maybe it's a good time to go back.

This is no longer an option I don't think it is.

Where are they going?

The engine stopped.

We're losing air pressure.

Katara, Toph, come with me.

What about me?

Take the helm.

What?

I've only ever been Fire I shot down the nation's airships.

OK, let's see.

Here is our rudder.

This is altitude rudder.

Here is our ballast.

And here it will kill us all huge tornado.

Follow me.

Move with me.

Just like I showed you.

We can restrain him.

Aang

and Tog destroys the tornadoes.

But there are too many.

And they are everywhere.

Just drive the ship.

Don't overlook Aang.

It's not that easy.

Especially when everything is on its side.

Ok.

Left.

Above.

Above.

Above.

Above.

Above.

Above.

Above.

Above.

Above.

I lose sight of them.

We must go back.

Trust your friends.

If we don't make a way, they won't make it.

Zuko!

We will crash into the sea.

When I give you the sign, Pull the lever next to the helm.

Katara?

No.

No.

No.

No.

Give me the sign.

Give me the sign.

Sokka!

Now!

Here we go!

what

were you thinking?

I was clearing the hoses to make way.

The ship almost crashed, Aang.

We could have died.

What if you got yourself killed?

You are the Avatar!

This is very risky.

We have to go back now.

No.

We're almost there.

Just into the eye of the storm We need to reach.

Aang.

No.

This is very dangerous.

The staff is there.

They didn't know we were there.

That they can weather the storm Do you really believe?

We're almost there!

That staff can bring back my people!

how much you want this I understand but... You don't understand!

None of you understand!

Aang...

We are going forward!

If we produce enough air, We can clear our way and pass.

Are we alive?

We did it!

Thank you, Taga.

It was you, Aang.

We are here because of you.

Yeah, we're having a great time too.

Take us into the Immortal Storm You could say we were flying.

I know it's dangerous But we had to risk it.

Us?

When to vote on this issue I don't remember what we did.

There was no time.

I had to make a decision.

Friends, please don't blame Aang.

It's all my fault.

I knew this would be difficult.

But Aang believed in your strength as a team.

And part of it I am honored to be.

I forgive you, Taga.

Everyone look.

These islands.

These were... lion turtles.

Wow!

Very good.

Long before my time, lion turtles He granted humans the ability to bend.

These are their final resting places.

Sonam, their teachings He came here to learn.

I'm sure he left his wand here.

Where should we start our search?

Aang, you need to contact him.

But... no one can contact Sonam.

Spiritual power of lion turtles is still concentrated here.

Let it guide you.

We will set out immediately.

Actually Taga can help here We may really need it.

If Rejected Immediately If it's behind us, we need to be ready.

Yes, and to fix that, Toph's metal We'll need more than just bending.

My bending got us out of that storm.

What have you done?

He directed with his feet.

Repairs can wait.

Aang needs me.

Taga, please.

Stay and help my friends.

I'm fine on my own.

However you like.

Our journey home We will start repairs.

Everyone is more than you on this journey. I know I want something but the world

We are about to achieve something that will change.

We are going to a new world.

Sonam?

Oh,

This turns into a nice little vacation.

All those trying to kill us Except for people... and tornadoes.

Well... he's repairing the ship shouldn't we be?

You're doing great buddy!

Has anyone seen Taga?

Yes, we've all seen Taga.

He is so handsome.

God, I get it.

Ah, I see what you mean.

He walked away in that direction.

No, maybe... that way?

Taga!

Where are you going?

Aang needs to be protected.

I agree.

My methods are strange to you I know you can come.

But I assure you that I did I do everything for Aang.

For Aang?

Or for the wand?

What we lost You have no idea about it.

with airbenders You have never known a world.

I know Aang.

It may be the last of its kind.

But this is the peace of the world He's the reason you know him.

As an air nomad their values brought balance to chaos.

Water Tribes, thanks to Aang

Kingdom of Earth and Fire His nation is now working together.

They strive for harmony.

Once unreachable A peace we thought.

You are talking about peace.

There will never be peace among the elements.

It never happened.

Your precious Republic Your city is built on lies.

It's based on hope.

Do you have hope, Taga?

Saving my people from hope It requires more.

It requires sacrifice.

Denied's airships I saw you trying to crush it.

You were ready to kill them.

What's Aang's mood like? I know you're a bender.

But what kind of airbender are you?

Aang

He did a good job bringing us here.

There is great power in it.

But also weakness.

Weakness?

Yes.

You.

My brother.

Taga.

This is real.

We can finally bring airbending back.

Let's go tell the others.

We can do this.

You and me.

I can't do this without my friends.

The land killed my people.

The fire killed yours.

A new air empire This wand is the only way we can build it.

An empire that can defend itself.

No.

We can build a new future, Taga.

But it should be for everyone.

The wand does not belong to everyone.

It belongs to us.

What?

What did you do?

As long as they're around, You would always keep it before our people.

Don't you see?

This is how we will purify ourselves.

Then it doesn't matter if you ran away.

As long as you're with me now.

Now?

Aang, listen to me.

Katara... It's the only way.

You are betraying your own people.

Just like Sona.

I wanted to do this with you by my side.

But if you build a new air empire If I have to install it alone...

So be it.

We must go back!

No!

We keep trying to break through!

Sonim's staff...

It was rejected.

The Avatar is dead.

If you want a new world where you have the power If you want to install it... I can give it to you.

Aang!

Appa!

Katara!

KATARA!

They left.

It was all my fault.

It was always my fault.

Since I ran away.

No Avatar is like this He was not ashamed...

Enough to join me here in my grief.

Why are you mourning like this, my friend?

Avatar Zonam?

Taga slaughtered my friends.

And now he has the wand.

Taga?

No.

No, I... I stopped him.

I hit the staff.

What did you do?

You were the one who gave him the power of airbending!

How can you give power to a monster?

Taga, to whom I gave bending power, was a different man.

It was a different time.

airbenders four They were the peacekeepers of the element.

We use our strength in non-violent conflict in all conflicts. We used it to mediate through means.

But we were the least in number.

For many years, great prosperity We existed in the beautiful balance it brought.

But the world started to change.

Earthbenders, from other elemental tribes They separated and established their own kingdom.

The balance of the world had changed.

The world was at risk.

It was my duty to take action.

So... how do you get your energy? I learned to direct

just like lion turtles like from the spirit world.

To give people the power of airbending.

My most loyal student Taga was the first to receive it.

Helps soothe growing unrest I sent my new peacekeepers to be.

But the new earth kingdom They were not prepared for his brutality.

Taga, all your brothers He watched him get murdered.

His heart was darkened by the violence of the war.

No longer an air nomad He saw everyone as an enemy.

Taga, to raise an army and anyone who would harm us

staff to kill He begged me to use it.

I refused.

That's why he stole it.

When he fastened the staff to the temple, energy of grief, pain and

He was so corrupted by anger that he The power of the spirit world consumed him.

Taga became something more than human.

He was too strong to be killed.

At the end of the clouds far above anyone

somewhere he can't find Confining took all my energy.

I got the wand back.

But I was mortally wounded.

Earth Kingdom Jorana Before I can invade, I

He sent the remaining air nomads into the mountains.

And I hid my anger towards them.

No one has his power in the spirit world that he cannot reach.

Then he used the staff only for the Avatar. I locked it somewhere he could find it.

I died, one day another In the hope that the Avatar will create

more airbenders and this Bringing balance back to the world.

And that Avatar is you, Aang.

Taga staff to the temple You should get it before connecting it.

There is still time.

My regret is yours Don't let regret happen.

My friends and I We fought hard for this peace.

start another war I will not allow it.

Help me find my way back.

Soto?

What's going on?

No!

No!

Please!

I need to fix this!

This can't end like this!

I can't die yet!

Katara?

I have to go!

Come on, Aang!

Come on!

Aang!

Hang on!

Aang!

Katara!

I was very worried.

Aang!

Sokka!

I knew you'd make it, man.

Hey, Aang.

Zuko!

Mamo!

Welcome, Lightfoot.

Toph!

You are fine.

I...

I thought you were all dead.

We were.

But...

Katara saved us.

The spiritual power of these waters is healing It strengthened my abilities.

You are incredible, Katara!

It's a pleasure to meet you.

Where is Opah?

Katara must have taken him.

I am sad.

No.

I can't believe I trusted him.

We will get through this!

So... did I understand this correctly...

Son'em to gain unlimited power Is he pulling his temple from the spirit world?

I don't say this very often, but Sokka is right.

Thanks.

Yes, we are stranded.

And we all have our own island There aren't enough lion turtles to exist.

That's why I'm taking over this.

I'm naming him Snappy.

Ah, Snappy is the best.

I know.

Where is Taga? We may not know, but we know.

What he is looking for is in the spirit world.

And luckily for us, the planet's spiritual We were stranded in the most loaded place.

That's why we got there I can open a portal that will take you away.

If I could call an old friend.

Ocean Spirit.

This portal is bad It smells like a fish market.

I'll go check on Snappy.

Meet your death with dignity.

I am sad.

I know I'm the one who put us in this situation But I promise I will fix this.

We will fix it.

Together.

What?

Where's my power pony?

Have my hands always been this small?

It's Baby Toph!

She's your sister, you meathead!

Give me Toph.

Okay, okay, Toph.

What happened to your beautiful face?

Dried sea ink You look like a fish.

What's going on here?

The balance of the spirit world has been disrupted.

Bad Toph!

We do not bite strangers.

Great soul!

Excuse me!

It definitely is.

It was my favorite hiding place.

That dark, nasty energy is all over this place. until it starts to corrupt.

Please.

to get out there We need your help.

It's my duty to stop this.

I am the Avatar.

Oooh!

Avatar!

Let me pinch you like this.

Ok.

Now with this eye.

And with this eye.

Please, Great Spirit!

Both our worlds are in danger!

No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Hmm.

Well, it makes more sense when you put it that way.

When you think about it, you and your humanoid I decided to help your friends.

What did he say?

Good job, Momo.

Ok.

Come on in!

No!

No!

No!

By the way, nothing you find between my teeth No eating anything, I save them for later.

Ready, start, take your place and rest!

One, two and what to do You know you should!

We've seen each other for so long I know we don't know each other but...

I love you!

You don't have to reciprocate!

Hey!

Your hair is back!

Why are my eyes teary?

I am sorry.

Was I crying?

No more.

Look!

What?

What is it?

This is Republic City.

Destroy everything we built We can't let it happen.

We will not give in.

Give me the staff, Taga!

I see I underestimated you, Avatar.

Your friends are stronger than I thought.

But you're too late.

I am sad.

You see, I did what you asked, Aang.

I brought airbending back to earth.

What's the plan?

We will deal with those who are rejected.

You need to get the wand.

Jurana and our enemies I will rebuild its ruins.

Just like theirs and ours like he did on it.

A new air empire will rise.

Kill them all.

La— My cabbages!

La— My cabbages!

Don't do this.

The power is now in your hands.

You can decide how to use it.

I'm not like you.

The world hasn't been very kind to me.

The world is what we make of it.

Stay away from him!

You betrayed me!

You betrayed our culture!

for you to see the truth I gave every opportunity to!

Couldn't you be in the Fire Nation?

I fight for the peace of all nations.

A war built on a century These are big words from someone sitting on the throne!

And there's no Avatar here to save you.

I fuck your cycle!

Let's see your fancy new bending ability, old Can he defeat his beautiful non-bending techniques?

You've just been rejected!

good luck

in saving his city.

we have to

to save as many people as possible!

I know your pain.

I know what you're going through.

You don't know.

To all my brothers and sisters I watched him get murdered.

And Fire Nation, Air He burned his nomads to ashes!

Where were you?

You escaped!

souls

All the power of the world flows through me!

This is what you call power!

Just like you did all those years ago You should have run away, little Avatar.

I won't run away.

Then at least the last Weather You will die knowing that you are not a bender!

We could be brothers!

We could do this together!

It didn't have to end like this!

This is Aang!

He has the wand!

Yes!

Kick his ass, Mega Aang!

No!

Something is wrong!

Power corrupts him!

Air Nomads as ambassadors of peace to the world I dreamed of bringing it back as

The world will follow They could be a beacon of light.

But you ruined it!

You turned my dream into a nightmare!

Finally.

Air Nomads need You have the power he feels.

Maybe there's still hope for you.

Use the wand!

The power to bring back our people Show me what you got!

Do it!

Aang...

Many avatars You will achieve great work.

But what scares you the most You must be ready to do anything.

of the people.

Your house.

We are always with you.

No!

My power!

No!

No...!

You fool!

From where?!

Why did you break it?

We could fix everything!

We cannot erase the pain of the past.

We couldn't save them.

But it is our duty to protect our people!

Everything they stand for Not at the cost of betrayal.

No!

Now it's time to release.

You must forgive yourself.

I must forgive myself too.

Air nomads are born from mist.

We walk through the world for a moment.

Then... we return to the eternal wind.

Hi, Katara.

Hi, Aang.

Seriously?

You realize you're falling, right?

Hey, if you ever get tired of relying on Appa,

one of these for you I can fix it, baby!

Airbending is back again I don't know if he will return or not.

But now I know Aang's true path and

the power of the air nomads It was never their bending.

It was their values.

And that's a strength I can pass on to others.

Avatar Aang.

You are the true epitome of air nomads.

From the power that I cannot give up Thank you for giving up.

The future of our culture You give me hope for

Isn't it great?

Built for centuries The first new air temple.

Republic City is finally completed.

A city for all nations.

Just like you promised.

I could never have done this without you, Katara.

Hello guys.

I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting.

Are you ready for our big trip?

As my new acoliths, we will preserve our culture for the future. You will help me preserve it for generations.

So?

Who is an ancient, abandoned Want to search for artifacts in the temple?

Hooray.

Just another old moldy airbender I'll make sure you don't try to release it.

Yeah, I'm done with the punk types.

Avatar Stronum told me about this place.

I mean, no one has been here for hundreds of years. It is very possible that he did not come.

Oh.

Is this an airbender heirloom?

I think he's just a rock.

But I liked his enthusiasm.

Keep your eyes open.

What can we discover here? They never know.

their

I thought they were extinct.

I can't believe it.

The original airbenders.
