- JEN: Hi! - Hi, how are you?
- JEN: Can I get you anything to drink?
- FRANKIE: We got some red wine, we got some--
- Maybe a glass of red wine, it's relaxing.
- FRANKIE: Some tequila...
- Pass on tequila.
- JEN: Yeah, no tequila right now.
- FRANKIE: Okay,
the party's here!
- Hey! - Misch!
- MISCHA: Hey, happy Thanksgiving!
- Mischa! I missed you, hi! - How are you?
- JEN: You guys better eat.
- FRANKIE: Happy Thanksgiving! - ASHLEY: Happy Thanksgiving!
- When I first moved out here, I didn't have my parents here,
I didn't have a wife, I didn't have kids,
my friends became the people that
I would spend my Thanksgiving with, so, my friends are family.
How are you? Happy Thanksgiving. - Oh, my God, this is so cute!
Oh, my God, you look gorgeous! - Hi!
- Hi! So good to see you! - JASON: Hi, guys!
- I saw--good, how are you? I saw you were doing
that homeless feeding thing, that was cool.
- Yeah, we went down-- so, we do that every year
at the LA mission. - That's cool.
- JASON: They said we ended up serving 3500--
close to 4,000, so, it was awesome.
- Where's your family at?
- They are not here, they're in Georgia now.
We haven't been having a lot of contact lately.
- I cannot relate to, like, people, when they tell me
these stories, like, I'm like...
- ASHLEY: Like, "How is that even possible?"
- FRANKIE: Yeah, if they're, like, fighting and, like,
there's, like, some bull , yes, of course,
but it's never been where, like,
"Hey, we can't go to that house 'cause
we don't talk to them right now," or...
- I know. - We have one life.
We--we have to, like, fix whatever the problems are,
and those are the closest people to us.
Do they still reach out to you?
- No, the last time was about eight months ago now, so.
I think it's definitely not gonna be my favorite
Thanksgiving of all time,
just because of the nature of not really talking
to my family and just coming back to LA.
Even though I'm, like, surrounded by these friends,
it's just something about being in Los Angeles
for the first time with no family
is definitely...taking a weird toll on me.
- ASHLEY: How are things
with the Justin and Stephanie situation?
- I mean, I don't hold grudges, like,
Justin I'm gonna keep at a distance and be cordial,
Stephanie is Stephanie, like,
I've just had enough drama with that,
so I'm trying to stay away from it.
- Yeah, I feel for you. - Yeah, you should.
- Everything will be fine and at peace
as long as we all behave like adults,
but with Stephanie there, you never know
what you're gonna get.
It's not like we're fighting.
It's just--it is what it is.
- ASHLEY: your darkest secrets to her.
- AUDRINA: No, it's just,
we're not, like, best friends, that's all.
And Justin and I are not friends.
- Normally, Brandon, we have like 30 people at Thanksgiving.
- Seriously? - Caitlin is always invited,
she's always been invited to everything that we've done,
this is just a different kind of crazy here where
everybody is scattered because of the fire.
- Is she going up north, or is she going to ?
- I think so, yeah.
So everybody's going en masse tomorrow to Casey--Caitlin's
daughter from her first marriage.
- BRODY: I just don't think we're gonna go,
I'm gonna stick around here,
I'd rather be around the community, honestly,
on Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving in my house growing up,
my mom would always have a big Thanksgiving party
at her house and we would all get together
and just tell stories, see what everybody's up to.
My dad was not part of Thanksgiving
when I was younger.
We had separate Thanksgivings, he was with the Kardashians,
and we were with our family.
Brandon's dad's Tommy Lee.
Like, we had similar upbringings, so we get along.
- We're gonna have all the ex-wives
and all the ex-husbands of the kids, yeah.
- BRANDON: That's incredible. - Yeah, it's nice, you know?
Life's too short to hold a grudge, you know?
- It's funny you say that, too, like, it's so weird--
out of the blue yesterday-- 'cause I haven't been
talking to my dad. - LINDA: I know, I know.
- And, um, his fiancée reached out to me
the other day 'cause their wedding just got canceled
in Mexico, like, they're-- - LINDA: Why?
- I have no idea. I'm just being cautious.
I don't wanna go over there and it just be the same ,
and my life is going, like, really good right now--
- Was you guys' relationship really good?
- Yes. Yes.
It's never been like a, he's my father, like,
"You're grounded" sort of deal.
It's been like, "Yo, you're my friend," like,
I really talk to him about, like--he's my boy.
Since my dad's been spending more time with her fiancée,
I think our relationship changed.
You know, just like any new relationship,
when you meet your chick,
you wanna spend a lot of time with them.
My dad was always gone working and on tour,
and I feel like, you know, I was starting to really...
get to know my dad for the first time in my life,
and I feel like that kinda took away from it a little bit.
- LINDA: It's hard, you know? He's entitled to be in love
and to have somebody, obviously.
Everybody does the best they can do
given their facilitation.
Caitlin was not around then, so Brandon and Brody
had to do the same thing that you have to do now
which is stretch those emotional muscles
and excavate all the good will that you can and just go,
"You know, that's his bad, it's nothing to do with you."
It's good to reconcile if you can.
- BRANDON: Yeah.
It's almost like a club.
It's almost like the Mommy and Daddy Famous People
Wah-Wah Club.
And that's why I feel like me and Brody
have so much in common.
It's just been hard.
It's been almost-- I don't even know
how long it's been, it feels like a year.
- Since you talked to him? - BRANDON: Yeah.
- Seems like you should work on forgiveness.
If you're not working on yourself,
nobody, whether it be a father figure
or a significant other, is gonna fill any void.
They're only going to cover it up for a little while
and one day it's gonna come out.
You know, I just want my friend back, really.
That's it, I mean, I miss my dad.
You know, at the end of the day, it would be a shame
to let some stupid fight get in the way
of everything we've had.
Maybe I'll write something to my dad.

kind of thing, right?
