I mean, outstanding job on the way you structured our latest

Yeah, then you'd have trouble fitting through doorways like

You and Katie, how's that going?

>> Bill: Relax on that.

Things are progressing nicely.

>> Justin: Any chance we'll be hearing wedding bells soon --

>> Bill: We are not talking about marriage right now.

We are just enjoying being a family again with our son.

>> Wyatt: Yeah, not unlike Hope and Liam getting to be a family

with Beth again, too, at long last.

>> Bill: I still can't believe my granddaughter's alive.

>> Wyatt: Yeah.

>> Justin: Good thing the truth is out.

Buckingham and Flo Fulton are in custody, and I know that is a

big relief to Hope.

>> Bill: Speaking of Hope, thank you for helping her with the

annulment.

>> Justin: Well, I was happy to, sir.

The sooner she's free of Thomas, the better.

You know, I want to say that I was surprised, but then again, I

wasn't, when Detective Sanchez reached out to me to tell me

that the investigation into Emma's death was re-opened.

And that Thomas could possibly be a suspect.

>> Bill: Of course that worm could be a suspect.

Any leads on that?

>> Justin: No.

My contacts at the department said they're keeping it tight.

>> Bill: Yeah, well, even if Thomas wasn't responsible,

Forrester's mini-me is a total loser.

The only redeeming thing he's ever done is produce a stand-up

kid with -- with Caroline.

Douglas.

If it weren't for Douglas, I don't even want to think about

what I would do to that guy.

>> Wyatt: Yeah, and I don't want to think about how wrong I was

about Flo.

I just -- I just got so caught up in the

whole high-school-sweetheart thing that I just --

I didn't realize -- >> Bill: R-realize what, Wyatt?

You couldn't see that coming.

I mean, who does something that crazy?

A doctor kidnaps a baby?

And -- and this woman, Flo, she goes along with it, lies

about being the birth mother.

>> Justin: Then there's Xander and Zoe.

Either of them could have come forward.

This nightmare would have been over a lot sooner.

>> Wyatt: Yeah, well, those two are lucky they didn't end up

in jail, and that they only got fired from Forrester.

>> Bill: They're all guilty as far as I'm concerned.

But the only one who hasn't been dealt with yet -- Thomas.

He's got to face his fate.

>> Ridge: Thomas!

Thomas, can you hear me?

Thomas!

>> Hope: Going down there right now.

I'm gonna try to see what's going on.

>> Ridge: Thomas, can you hear me?

Thomas!

>> Hope: Oh, my God. Um...

Um, y-y-yes.

Are you still there?

Yeah, he -- he is breathing, but he's unconscious.

>> Ridge: Tell them to get here!

>> Hope: Okay. Um...

They say not to move him.

>> Ridge: All right.

>> Hope: Um...

No, the ambulance is on its way.

>> Ridge: Stay with me.

>> Hope: And the access code to the gate is 11...

>> Ridge: I love you, my son.

I'm right here with you.

It's gonna be okay.

>> Hope: Oh, my God. Um...

>> Ridge: It's gonna be okay.

>> Bill: So, how do you serve annulment papers to a coward

who's in hiding?

I mean, nobody's heard from Thomas since the

truth came out, right?

>> Wyatt: As far as I know.

>> Bill: We don't even know if he's still in L.A.

>> Wyatt: I'm pretty willing to bet that he is.

>> Bill: Because of Douglas.

>> Wyatt: Exactly.

>> Bill: The same kid who outed him to Liam and Hope.

Told them that his dad knew that Phoebe was Beth.

>> Wyatt: Look, think what you want about Thomas -- and, trust

me, I don't think much of him.

He's not gonna give up on his son.

It doesn't matter how upset he is with Douglas.

Also [Scoffs] I don't think he's gonna give up on Hope that

easily, either.

>> Justin: Yeah, but that's what he's gonna have to do once he

gets those annulment papers.

>> Bill: Which brings me back to my original question --

how do you serve that loser who's in hiding?

>> Justin: Bill, I wouldn't be surprised if Hope has already

told Thomas she's annulling the marriage.

>> Wyatt: Mm-hmm.

I mean, Thomas isn't gonna be picking up many calls, but he's

definitely picking up Hope's.

>> Bill: Well, I don't think that's such a good idea.

Hope contacting Thomas, telling him that she wants the

marriage annulled A.S.A.P.

That could just set off that psychopath.

>> Justin: I tried to caution her about that.

Hearing it directly from her could trigger the guy.

But she was determined to get him out of her life

once and for all.

>> Wyatt: Can you blame her?

>> Bill: Thomas isn't playing with a full deck, that's for

sure.

We can only hope that Ridge knows that his son

is a nutjob before he causes any more damage.

>> Thomas: Wait!

>> Hope: Get away, Thomas!

I don't want to talk to you.

>> Thomas: If I told you about Beth, I knew you probably would

have gone back to Liam.

I didn't want to lose you.

>> Hope: You already lost me.

>> Brooke: Get away from us!

Uh, I was gonna bring Beth, but she started getting tired, so I

>> Bilateral IVs with fluid bolus given en route.

>> Dr. Armstrong: All right.

We're gonna need a stat CT scan for the head.

Chest X-rays, as well.

Do you have a name?

>> Ridge: Thomas.

Thomas Forrester. He's my son.

>> Dr. Armstrong: Thomas, I'm Dr. Armstrong.

You're in the hospital.

Can you hear me?

All right.

Let's get him to a room right away.

>> Ridge: Excuse me.

>> Sorry, sir.

You'll have to wait here.

>> Ridge: That's my son.

I have to get in there.

>> I understand.

But the doctor needs to examine him first.

We'll update you as soon as we know something.

>> Bill: Thomas helped put my son and Hope through hell.

He didn't steal Beth outright, but he helped perpetuate the

lie.

>> Justin: On top of that, he may be responsible for my

niece's death.

>> Bill: Whatever part that nutjob played in everything,

he deserves whatever he gets.

>> Liam: Thomas?

>> Hope: I was here, alone, when he showed up.

>> Liam: What?!

>> Hope: Yeah.

And, um, he was upset about the annulment, and he was desperate,

even, begging me not to end our marriage, and...

>> Liam: [ Sighs ] What did you do?

>> Hope: Well, I-I tried to leave.

But then he wouldn't let me, so then I went out the back,

and -- and then he started following me.

>> Liam: Oh, my God.

Oh, my God!

>> Hope: I wasn't -- I wasn't sure what he would do.

Or -- or the lengths he would go to stop me.

So I started backing away.

But then -- but then he grabbed ahold of me a-and --

>> Liam: Wait, he grabbed you?

He actually grab-- Where -- Is he still on the property?

>> Hope: No, Liam, stop.

Because he kept saying he was sorry, and he was apologizing,

and he just wanted to talk, and that if we could go inside

you didn't do that.

Thomas and I are over.

And -- and there's nothing that he could say to me, no apology,

no explanation that would erase what he did to me.

But...

>> Liam: Well, he had no right to grab you.

>> Hope: No, I know.

I know that.

But looking back, I...

I-I don't think I was in danger.

Although I could see how it would seem that way to my mom.

>> Liam: Was she here?

Brooke was here?

>> Hope: So, sh-she apparently had tried calling me to -- to

warn me that Thomas was on his way here because she was worried

about me being here alone.

>> Liam: And you didn't get the calls?

>> Hope: No.

None of them went through.

And -- and so she got in her car, and she drove here as fast

as she could...

>> Liam: Hope, where are you g-- Where are you going with this?

>> Hope: So when she arrived, she must have seen Thomas

holding me, and, um...

[ Voice breaking ] I can understand how a mother

would want to protect her daughter.

>> Liam: Whoa. Hey, hey.

Breathe.

What happened?

>> Hope: She rushed over.

And she told Thomas to get his hands off of me.

And then I managed to break away, but then...

she pushed him.

>> Liam: Good.

Then what?

>> Hope: Somehow his foot must have slipped,

and he went over the edge of the cliff.

And then, to make it even worse, Ridge saw it all happen.

>> Liam: Ridge was there, too?

>> Hope: Yeah.

Apparently he arrived right when he went over the side.

>> Liam: Hope...

Is Thomas gonna make it?

>> Hope: I'm not sure.

[ Monitor beeping steadily ] >> Ridge: How is he, Doctor?

>> Brooke: Is Thomas still unconscious?

>> Dr. Armstrong: Are you his mother?

>> Ridge: This is my wife, Brooke.

Uh, his mother's out of town.

>> Dr. Armstrong: I see.

>> Ridge: Is he still unconscious?

>> Dr. Armstrong: Yes, which is to be expected given the

severity of the fall.

Although the longer he remains unresponsive --

>> Ridge: Yeah.

You said something about a CT scan?

>> Dr. Armstrong: To ascertain the extent of any head trauma.

Radiology is dealing with another trauma case right now --

>> Ridge: Well, I don't care how busy they are.

This is my son. You got to -- [ Sighs ] I'm sorry.

Um...

>> Dr. Armstrong: I understand.

I'm a father, too.

>> Brooke: What about other injuries?

Broken bones, internal bleeding?

>> Dr. Armstrong: We're gonna need to wait for the

test results to come back in, all right?

Now, the medic said something about him falling off a cliff?

>> Ridge: Yeah.

>> Brooke: Yeah, it was a terrible accident.

>> Ridge: Can I go see him now?

>> Dr. Armstrong: We're running some more tests right now.

I'll let you know when that's possible.

>> Brooke: Ridge -- >> Ridge: [ Clears throat ]

>> Brooke: I know that you're upset.

I'm upset, too.

But Thomas is strong.

He will get through this.

He has you. He has Douglas.

The entire family.

He's going to wake up from this terrible accident.

>> Ridge: You keep saying "accident."

You think my son is in there fighting for his life

because of an accident?

>> Wyatt: All right, thanks.

[ Scoffs ] Nothing.

I mean, Thomas has to show up soon, right?

>> Justin: If he cares about his little boy, he better.

>> Bill: That poor kid has been through so much.

Loses his mother.

Uprooted from his home in New York.

Then his father pulls this crazy garbage.

>> Wyatt: A lot of people have been affected and hurt

by what Thomas has done.

>> Bill: Your brother and Hope most of all.

But Beth, too.

And when I think of my innocent little granddaughter spending

the most critical weeks and months of her young life in

somebody else's home...

I know that Steffy took great care of her,

but that's not the point.

Beth should have been with her real mother.

And Thomas knew that when he found out the truth,

but he kept it from Hope because he is a spoiled, selfish,

entitled freakin' brat.

And, Wyatt, it is taking every ounce of self-control that I

posses to not hunt him down and make him suffer the way he

made the people I love suffer.

>> Liam: I mean, your mom is gonna call when they find out

how Thomas is, right?

>> Hope: He was so still.

He was barely breathing.

What if he doesn't make it?

>> Liam: Um, if you want, I can drive you to the hospital.

>> Hope: No.

Steffy should be home soon with Kelly, and Ridge wanted me to

s-stay so that I could, um, break the news to her about her

brother.

[ Monitor beeping steadily ] [ Alarm beeps ]

[ Indistinct announcement on P.A. ]

>> Ridge: [ Sighs ] I should be in there with my

son.

>> Brooke: Would you like me to get the doctor?

See if there are any updates?

See if you can go in there yet?

[ Sighs ] Ridge...

I know you're scared.

Thomas is your son.

You love him very much.

>> Ridge: And I could lose him.

I could lose another kid.

And Douglas could lose another parent.

>> Brooke: Don't.

Don't even think that way.

>> Ridge: How should I think?

You saw him when he came in here.

You see him in there?

[ Sighs ] I know he has issues.

I'm trying to figure out what's going on in his head, you know,

when this -- when this all started.

Single parent raising Douglas -- maybe it all fell apart

when Caroline died.

But he found Hope, and she gave him solace.

Gave Douglas solace.

He thought...she was the mother he so desperately needed.

I don't want to -- I'm not making excuses. I'm not.

I know, but Steffy...

It's awful.

But do you think he deserves that?

What if he doesn't wake up?

What if he does wake up and he can't communicate,

and he -- he can't take care of Douglas anymore?

What if he -- >> Brooke: Stop.

Stop. Don't even say that.

You can't think that way.

You need to be strong.

That's what Thomas needs from you right now -- your strength

and your positivity.

>> Ridge: [ Sniffles ] [ Sighs ]

You're right.

We're gonna be strong, and we're gonna be positive.

All of us.

That's gonna be hard for you, isn't it?

Knowing how you feel about him.

How you've felt about him for a very long time.

You never missed a chance to tell anybody just how screwed up

his life was.

How screwed up he is.

You didn't want him to be with Hope, ever.

You didn't want him to get between Hope and Liam.

You hated him for it.

And I knew -- I knew something was gonna happen.

I knew it.

I just didn't think it was gonna be you...

pushing him off a cliff.

That's not -- I'm sorry.

That was an accident, right?

He "accidentally" fell.

[ Sighs ] My son might be dead
