All right.
Hey, hey, good morning. How was your walk?
It was glorious.
Oh, well wonderful. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It was glorious and productive.
Yeah, we finished our bucket lists.
Oh, that is wonderful.
We're gonna get started on those right away.
I sure hope so. I'm gonna get these typed up.
-I'm so excited. -Oh, me too!
I'm excited to read them. You know, gotta keep dreaming.
-We sure do. -[Anastasia & Cora laugh]
-[Brown] Cora! The place ready? -[Cora] What, what?
Must you be so raucous first thing in the morning?
Okay, we got to make sure everything is in place.
Wait a minute, ready for what?
Cora, I'm having some important company.
Well, who coming, Mr. Brown, who?
Oh, Cora, okay, Cora. Okay, picture this.
-Hmm? -Okay, I was down at the church,
collecting food for the food drive.
Okay.
And this lady came up, she was running for Congress,
and she started giving me a bunch of food.
And I looked at her and said,
"Why is she giving me all this food," sure?
Uh-huh.
Yeah, she not just regular any kind of food,
not store-brand food, it was name-brand food.
-Name-brand, Cora. -Okay.
I looked at her and I said,
"All of this stuff she giving me,
this woman must have money."
Oh, well, that's nice of her, Mr. Brown.
Yeah, and Cora, you know what?
She asked me, your daddy,
if I would help her with her run for Congress.
I looked at her and I said,
"Yes! I'll help you with your run for Congress."
[Reginald] Well, that's nice, Mr. Brown,
but what do you know about this woman?
Oh, we got, I found out,
Cora, I found out, we got a lot in common.
-Okay. -Like what?
-Okay, we both love the church. -Mm.
We both have good, strong family values.
We support the military.
And we both love Martin Luther-ther.
Uh, Mr. Brown, so which party is she with?
I was just about to ask the same thing.
Oh, she with the dependent party.
Dependent, you mean she's an independent?
Right.
Yeah, yeah, she said she don't mess with the other two parties.
She just believe in serving the community.
-Yes. -Oh.
You gotta do your research, Mr. Brown.
I agree with Judge Reginald.
-Politics can be a tricky game. -Tricky and dirty.
-Dirty and underhanded. -[Cora] Mm-hmm.
Oh, ain't nothing dirty about her. She clean as they come.
She is clean.
Now, wait a minute, Mr. Brown, again, now, what is her name?
Um, Pearlie,
I think they say her name, but Pearlie Rattner Steen.
Why does that name sound familiar?
[Cora] Right.
[Brown] She enjoyed our conversation so much,
she asked me if I would let a news team come down here
and interview me.
I'm fit to be on TV!
Interview at a news station? What news station?
I don't know, Cora, no station.
Well, now, you definitely have to know what station, Mr. Brown,
because a lot of these stations these days
are political and have specific agendas.
Cora's right. You have to be careful
before aligning yourself with someone.
Now, uh, who is the interviewer?
Uh, I think they say he was a Ruther Parsons, I think.
Oh, no, please, Mr. Brown, don't, not Ruther Parsons!
What?
Hello!

Tonight, as we continue our trek across America,
we once again are live in a local resident's living room

where they could be assisted in their living.
Hence, "Assisted Living."
It makes sense.
When can they fill out applications?
