Belessa House. It's where we let performers tell us who they want to have
with and why.
I'm Adria Rae. My name is Lucas Frost.
Lucas is my ex -fiance.
We were together about four years ago, so it's been now
like three years since we've been split up.
Can you talk about what happened? Why it ended?
It was a lot.
Compilation of things it wasn't just one thing.
No breakup really ends like because of one thing or relationship really so I
would say it was just like a perfect storm of things and Me being really
at the time was definitely like a portion of that. I was only 21 When he
proposed to me and it was really quick. It was a very like whirlwind Romance, it
was like very fast and very passionate and we're both in the industry trying to
navigate that whole piece of it as well and having like a relationship in the
public eye and so there's just like a lot of moving pieces when it comes to
and trying to deal with that maturely at 21 when I'm still trying to figure out
how to like be in the industry I think was really hard and did you guys go
through a period when you broke up where you weren't talking oh yeah we didn't
talk for like two years after we broke up like not a word During that time
you guys weren't talking, though, was there a side of you that didn't want to
reach out? Or was it like, no?
Yeah, I mean, always. I try and end friendships, relationships, everything
amicably. So to not have that was definitely frustrating, but I can't
force it.
So how did you guys make it back to each other?
Yeah, it was about a year ago. She texted me.
She said she grew up a lot and things like that.
i guess she had gone through a similar situation where she was in my position
her relationship after us and so it gave her a little bit more of an
understanding of the position i was in when we were dating so she kind of
reached out on that like that level and she um we ended up hanging out i think
like a couple weeks later and was it just like it had been
Yeah, but more comfortable.
Like, there was nothing to hide at that point.
Because you had seen the worst of each other. Oh, yeah. So it's like there was
not, like, the comfortability had gone from, like, it was already really
comfortable, like, best friends type, but then it went to, like, a level of
comfortability that I didn't really think existed.
Where did you get the perspective that you have now? I mean, obviously you're
older, but, like, did something happen that... Um...
I think the perspective I have now is just mainly the fact that I'm 25.
I've gone through some shit now and I've gotten to where I'm at and he's still
been like one of the really stable pillars in my life as like just a good
to have and be there for me. And so I thought today would be a good chance to
kind of reunite because it's been a long time.
It's been four years since you guys shot a scene, I think. Yeah. Do you remember
the first time you guys worked together?
Yes, I do.
It was a Super Bowl theme, and I remember Donnie Rock was
supposed to be my boyfriend, and he falls asleep during the Super Bowl, and
pizza guy shows up with our pizza, and it's Lucas, and because I'm just so
disappointed that my boyfriend's asleep, of course I have to ping the pizza guy.
I was in a relationship at the time.
So we had chemistry, but nothing could be explored past that because I was in a
relationship.
And when did that evolve?
When I became single, shortly after.
We hung out once, and it kind of didn't really stop.
Because now you guys are at a good place, do you think that you would ever
revisit something with him?
Um, I don't know. I have no idea what the future holds. Like I said, I have...
so much love for him in my heart that like, I don't doubt that as being a
possibility. I think if we do end up being together in the future, it'll
probably be later. Like when we're both like really over our bullshit and really
ready to actually like be boring together.
I'm always open to try everything. That's how I kind of run my life. I
really shut the door on things.
If it happens, it happens.
If it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm not going to force anything, but I'm not going to
say no to things.
I think relationships can almost essentially be better after a hardship.
And that goes for friendships, relationships, like relationships with
members, things like that, too.
Are you feeling nervous? You said you were. I am a little nervous, but also,
like, he's one of the people that I have, like, the best sexual chemistry
Like, he really understands me and, like, my body, and I think vice versa.
So I also am excited because I think this is going to be a really good
Are you nervous?
Yeah, I mean, I'd be lying if I wasn't.
That's the first time you've ever actually said you're nervous. Because
usually, we always comment on how you are the quintessential, like, calm,
confident person.
So this is interesting and it's different to see you this way.
I mean, yeah.
We're going to go get her. All right. Next time you come through these doors.
She'll be waiting for you. Sounds good.
Hey.
Hi. How are you?
I just realized.
Bye.
Mm -hmm.
Right there,
right there, right there, right there.
Thank you.
Worth it?
Worth it.
I'm glad you didn't blame me last night.
Yeah, me too.
Well, guys, thank you for letting us capture this great story, which I
really enjoyed during both of your times.
You guys are both delightful people.
I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Probably, yeah. That's usually where it is.
Thank you guys so much.
And enjoy the rest of your day.
Thank you.
