Not Gaya.

Leave her alone.

I hope that what I'm going to say is comforting.

I will not kill Gaya.

Never.

Stop!

Don't kill him.

He saw my face.

I can't let him live.

I will kill him.

Both the father and the son.

I will kill them both with my hands.

I will take my revenge in the cruelest way possible.

In front of the father, the son.

In front of the son, the father.

So... stay alive.

Until I kill you.

Episode 4

Elder.

Follow me.

I have things to take care of.

All you had to do was ignore him. Did you have to go that far?

It's for the sake of Jung Tae.

You may not be able to see Jung Tae again.

If I leave like this, I can't see him again anyway.

I can't let you go. -Elder!

Then...

promise me one thing.

Do not trust the person wearing the other half of the amulet.

He is the one who killed your mother.

And he will kill you, too.

It's time for us to leave.

To where?

By whose will?

You know about my mother. Tell me. Before you tell me, I won't move a step.

I can't tell you.

Then just tell me who killed her.

About that matter,

I can't tell you as well.

Why did my dad have to die?

Why did Jung Tae's father kill my dad?

I...

Who am I? Just what am I?

Find out for yourself.

Why your parents died and

who you really are.

Even though you tried to hide everything, you forgot about one thing.

The fact that I shouldn't die.

You saved me.

I will consider it as a thankful deed.

But would you be able to save me the next time? And the time after that?

I'm going to try to die every time I breath. Do you think you can save me every time?

I will do as you wish.

The path you want me to take,

I will willingly walk that path.

In exchange, you answer this question.

On that path,

whether the man who killed my mother exists.

And the kind of son of a bit*h he is.

I cannot tell you.

Instead,

I will promise you this.

Before I die,

you will never be killed.

That will never happen.

Shinichi.

Yes.

A real man does not peek,

waver his sight or look back.

Yes.

You said you wanted to be my bodyguard?

Yes.

Can you protect me?

I will risk my life protecting you, Princess Ryoko.

Thank you.

In this place, there is no one who will protect me

except you.

The fact that you came here means

you have decided. Your kneeling

is a sign of obedience.

Am I right?

I want to get rid of the Dobi Gang as soon as possible.

However, Bool Gom Hyungnim...

Ika piyo-kun. (less than a baby chick)

Ika bi..?

What does that mean?

From where I was educated,

We use that term to describe a coward.

You...

are scared of Bool Gom.

The owner who raised you

from his hands, food and punishment came out.

And once in a blue moon,

he probably patted you on the head.

That's why you can't bite him.

Cowards die three times, but

courageous ones die only once.

Even if you die three times and live,

where you stand will still be hell.

But if you live as though you are going to die only once,

your life can change.

I'll ask you for the last time.

Do you want to die three times?

Or do you want to die once?

I understand!

I will give my life to you and serve you.

Go search everywhere with Kenjo.

So when I return, we can destroy them all at once.

Yes!

I'm sorry to tell you this, but

I would rather die 100 times just to live once.

You know what you guys don't know?

I'm not Do Ggoo just because I wag my tail a bit.

I'm Do Ggoo because I killed my master and ate him.

I just don't understand!

It's a hotel, but they don't have anyone who can make traditional pancakes?

In Joseon, I'm the best at making maekjeok (charcoaled pork).

They're recognizing who the flower is (the best).

You must be proud. - It's almost time for the train to arrive.

Let's hurry. - Yes.

Talk. I'll listen.

Didn't you come here to make excuses?

It was a misunderstanding.

It's not what you're thinking.

I do not like that girl.

When I got my senses back, I ended up here.

When it gets difficult and tiring,

I end up thinking about you.

I'm sorry, Ok Ryeon.

I'll go.

Why is it hard?

Because of that wench?

I saw her.

I think she was going towards the train station.

Send me a detailed report of the situation.

I will read them over carefully.

Understood.

Let's go.

My house.

Burn it down to the ground.

Understood.

Gaya!

Gaya!

Distract the crowd.

I said I'd kill that guy.

Shin Jung Tae,

I can kill you.

Believe me.

My father will definitely catch the real culprit.

I hate him to death.

But this time I want to believe him.

If he can't?

Then I'll find him.

If I'm not strong enough, I'll get stronger. If I don't have enough allies, I'll find people who will be on my side.

When you return,

the man who killed your father,

I will bring him to you.

Believe me.

Find him.

Then I'll believe you.

Gaya!

I'll wait for you.

Come back. Definitely.

Definitely come back.

Gaya.

Gaya!

Gaya!

Gaya!

Little kid,

are you okay?

Should this ahjussi carry this for you?

This kind of stuff, I can do it.

Look carefully. This is how it should be done.

Hey, hey!

Hey, hey, hey!

Why are you here?! Why?!

Hey, just listen to me for a sec-

Wasn't I enough?

What did you do to Chung Ah?

Just listen to me for a sec-

Stop!

I'm telling you to please stop it!

Oppa, are you a gangster? Why are you hitting an innocent person?

That man was helping me.

I was thankful so I thought I should at least feed him.

Hey.

Gosh, it's not like I'm a rabbit on a midsummer day.

But I keep getting beat up day after day, huh?

Sorry.

If you're sorry, then you should take a punch.

And if you're going to be sympathetic, then you should give me money.

Go.

Her name is Chung Ah?

Seems like she's very sick.

Doesn't look like medicine will cure her.

Am I right?

Mind your own business.

It has nothing to do with you.

If there's a time when you can't pay for the medicine, then come find me.

You never know.

I can become your savior.

I'm sorry.

But I had a reason for doing that.

You're fighting because of me, right?

You doing things like that,

it's all because of me.

Because of the cost of my medicine and the hospital fees.

It's not like that.

There are times when I get into fights with drunk customers while I pull the rickshaw, or

sometimes among the rickshaw boys, there are fights.

It's not a big deal, so don't worry.

It'd be better if I was an idiot.

An idiot who would

believe nonsensical lies that my Oppa is telling me.

I wish it would rather be like that.

Ch-Chung Ah...

Oppa, you've changed.

When you last laughed,

I can't even remember anymore.

It is because of me.

If only I wasn't alive-

Stop it. Stop!

Stop with that nonsense.

Until now,

you probably believed that you lived in hell.

But keep your eyes wide open.

This place...

is absolute hell.

Osaka, Japan - Ilgookhwae Headquarters

Already...

they're sparring with the jitte.

During the training, with real swords

you are to learn how to receive hits.

You start with 30 hits,

then you lower it down to 3.

The first 10 hits,

the master will only defend.

During that time, you have to make at least a small scratch.

If you fail,

your neck will be pierced.

You'll die.

It's useless.

Last one.

If you waste your last hit,

then today you're going to die.

That was pretty good.

But next time,

it won't work.

In 15 days,

you will go through the test.

With...

that man.

Aka...

is the first hurdle you must jump.

The last hurdle.

Who is he?

That...

is also that man.

How is she?

Does she look like her mother?

It felt like I was looking at her picture.

Are their hearts alike, too?

You should see for yourself.

It's been three years.

During that time,

you have to make her surpass her mother.

Then...

I will see that child.

If Gaya's strength...

doesn't match up to the Princess,

what will be done?

Are you at a funeral? Eat.

Is it because of Chung Ah being discharged?

She has a deep heart.

It must have bothered her so much that you're working hard.

Don't worry.

Just shut your eyes and work hard to death for two years.

If that's not enough, I'll give you all I have, too.

Then Chung Ah can have her surgery-

Why? Why? Why are you leaving?

Hey, finish your food! Where are you going, you punk?

Hey, Shin Jung Tae!

Aish. He's really weird. For real.

You're here?

Why did you call me?

You came here yourself, so what the heck are you talking about?

I hate tasting food to see if it's seasoned well.

So don't change the subject and just spit it out.

Gosh, this bastard.

Do you know why I don't like you?

You're way too honest.

So it makes the other person feel pathetic.

Jump the train for me.

Crazy bastard.

I'll give you 50,000 won.

It's a very important thing.

But the government restriction has been strict, so I can't send it by train.

And it's been a while since the boats have been blocked.

100,000 won.

If it's that amount, I'll risk my life.

No, I will gladly die.

Again.

Again!

It'll leave a scar.

They put oil on the railings, so you won't be able to hold it with your bare hands.

Okay?

You have to run like crazy, as fast as you can, towards that railing.

I've seen it before, that tattoo.

Who are you?

Get out. Right now!

You don't have to put your guard up towards me.

You and me, we're in the same boat.

We're being raised

to be their faithful dogs. Into sharp swords...

and a dependable shield from the swords.

What are you talking about?

You'll soon find out.

From now on, listen to me carefully.

There is only one way you will be able to survive the jitte spar.

Unlike how he looks, Aka has no patience.

And that sparring... will start from your attack.

Why are you telling me this?

I told you.

That we're in the same boat.

Take care of them well, and if anything happens contact us right away. Okay?

Yes, I understand.

It's not too late yet.

Even if you say you'll back out, no one will blame you.

I will jump.

Take it.

You're doing the dobi work for the first time.

You will never slip.

Thank you, Hyungnim.

Kid... come back alive.

I'll be going now.

Yeah.

Start.

Are you giving up?

Never.

I will decide when I will attack.

Border of Shin Eui Joo

If you die, then I'm going to kill you.

Gosh, you're giving me bad luck.

What?

This jerk, really...

Come back safely.

Don't worry, you jerk.

Do you know why only you and I followed him?

So that we take care of his dead body.

How long are you going to just stand there?

I'll see you after six months.

Dandong, China

You have to jump when you see a leveled dirt ground.

If you miss that spot, there will only be rocks and trees.

When you jump, let your body fly

to keep the speed of your jump similar to that of the train.

As soon as you hit the ground, you have to start rolling.

Remember, the more you roll, the impact will lessen.

Are you okay?

Aigoo, you're hurt all over the place.

Thank you.

You should have been more careful.

What would have happened if we weren't here to see you jump?

Let's go over there.

It's dangerous here because the border guards come here often.

It's okay. I have to wait...

I'm sorry, but we can't wait.

What are you doing? Finish him up.

Yes, his life line is like a steel cable.

Jung Tae.

Why are you coming from there?

Then what about you?

I came to see Chung Ah.

She just came out of the hospital like that, so I couldn't help but worry.

What about Jung Tae?

He's busy.

It's hard for me to see him, too.

That's just like him.

He's having so much fun that he doesn't even know how much time is passing by.

Is she sleeping already?

Chung Ah!

Chung Ah!

What's the matter?

What's going on?

Jung Tae.

Where is Jung Tae?

I told you he's busy.

Find Jung Tae quickly.

Chung Ah!

Shin Chung Ah!

Chung Ah!

Chung Ah! Chung Ah! Chung Ah! Chung Ah!

We are busy as it is. Where have you been?

Get over here right now!

Chung Ah...

has disappeared.

What are you on about?

What are you saying?

Say that again.

What happened to Chung Ah?

Chung Ah disappeared.

She left a letter and disappeared.

We looked for her to the point where our eyes are falling out, but she's not anywhere.

Aigoo.

Shin Yeong.

Yes?

Close the business.

Yes.

Get everyone to look for Chung Ah! Now!

Ah! Chung Ah! -Chung Ah!

Chung Ah!

You're deeply indebted to me .

So,

you will have to pay me back.

It hasn't healed yet. Try not to move.

I'm fine.

It took 3 days for you to wake up.

It was dangerous, Jung Tae.

I said I'm fine.

Chung Ah must be worried.

What's wrong?

Chung Ah... ?

Chung Ah is fine, right?

Nothing's wrong, right? Tell me!

Oh!

Jung Tae. I'm sorry. Chung Ah... Chung Ah is...

Let go!

Chung Ah...

Gaya.

It's all done.

Including Ma Doo Shik, there are 10 of them.

Those guys went to fight at Yongampo and two of them died.

They are ignorant son of a bit*hes. Are you sure you can handle them by yourself?

I can.

Move!

You go in!

Inspiring Generation Preview

Go to Shin Eui Joo and firmly plant the Japanese flag there.

All you have to do is avoid the roads to Andong.

But your blood will be the thickest.

Who is the one that killed my mother?

You saw it with your own eyes.

So, who is that punk?!

I will find your father. Like I told you, I will kill him in front of you.

He is just like his father.

If there ever is a time when he needs help, don't hesitate.

I will not leave you alone if you get in my way.

Where? Where is he?
