when we'd have holidays.

your brother and go skiing

or the beach or a road trip.

little Crossroad Springs

started his own church

out on their ranch.

He's doing what now?

Yeah, they're just going to
meet right there in the barn.

[Jackson laughs]

some common ground

between us and our families.

We've taken matters
into our own hands.

just self preservation.

we have finally solved
our water problem.

I found them.

And when I was digging
out the culverts,

I managed to tap into
an underground stream.

You have your own well?

Thanks to a dam, we have
our own stream-fed dugout.

Oh, I am so happy for you.

I wanted to be the

that the Lord saw fit

to give water back
to the Hamilton land.

at our very humble cowboy
church on this holiest of days.

I'm so proud of this community

for its outpouring of love
and joy for God's glory.

I would just like to mention
that after the service

there will be a celebration.

We will have food, drinks,
and some more music.

Also, Maggie from Daisy Mae
Cafe, and her mother Bea

have created beautiful
Easter baskets,

one for every family,
and for the kids too.

So please don't forget to take
yours home when you leave.

He has been working so hard

worship that is close to home.

cowboy church here at Red Oak.

sure everybody knows

you will always have a place

Crossroad Springs.

[James] And that
brings us to today,

this glorious day.

What is today?

Today is Easter.
Now what is it about?

Well, it's not about cute little
bunny rabbits and chocolate.

Although, the chocolate is nice.

So what is Easter about?

Easter is about a
fulfillment of a promise.

Easter is about a renewal.

Easter is about
the resurrection.

It's about what happens in
our lives every single day.

Because with the fulfilled
relationship with God,

that gives us the strength
and the hope to persevere.

[James] Perseverance is why
we're here now today in worship.

Because despite the winters
and the rains and the storms,

this cowboy church
has persevered.

And when you think about it,
despite all the winters

and the rains and the
storms of your life,

you've persevered.

And it's brought you
here to this moment.

And now we get to celebrate
a new beginning together.

So as you go out into the world,
I encourage all of you

to think about all the ways
in which you've persevered.

I know I've been
thinking a lot about that

in my own life recently.

And you know what?

By the grace of God,
we are still here.

So today we celebrate
hope and perseverance.

Today we celebrate Easter.
Today, we celebrate Jesus.

And please go out,

enjoy the rest of your
day with your loved ones.
