=Bloom in Turmoil=

=Episode 18=

What are you doing?

By General Shiqi's order, we arrest Danruo, the spy.

Move!

What?

Let's go.

Let me go!

Stop!

Xinnian,

seeing you and Shiqi resolving your differences,

I'm truly happy.

My heart is finally at ease.

Grandfather, eat a bit more.

What are your plans for the future?

Grandfather, Lu Shiqi and I have discussed it.

From now on, we will fight side by side,

traveling the world with our swords and sweeping injustice from it.

Alright.

I

respect your choice.

Actually,

staying away from the court is good for both you and Shiqi.

I'll return to the capital and see His Majesty

to clear the Lu family's name.

After that,

I will return to continue leading Lu's Army

to protect the people and serve His Majesty.

Whenever you two have time in the future,

be sure to come back often to see me.

Grandfather, what are you talking about?

Of course we'll come to see you.

Does your wound still hurt?

It hurts.

Did I press on your wound?

I meant for you to cherish me.

From now on, let me protect you.

I will guard you with my whole life.

Alright.

Shiqi,

if I asked you not to return to the army

or go to war, what would you do?

I already heard the answer.

What did you hear?

I heard the voice of a passionate man determined to defend his country.

Yunhe,

I can't give you a life away from it all

with just the two of us.

I'm sorry.

Shiqi, you carry the nation in your heart.

And I aim to root out evil and protect the weak.

Though we can't live secluded in some quiet corner,

we can always walk side by side.

Yunhe,

not only do you love me,

but you also understand and support me.

I, Lu Shiqi, am the happiest man in the world.

And Lu Shiqi also said

he must uphold great righteousness, defend the homeland,

and honor you properly to be a true passionate man.

Truly a soldier I trained.

Grandfather, you're biased. I'm your granddaughter.

I can make you proud too.

Of course.

You have always been my pride.

That brat Lu Shiqi is the lucky one.

That brat?

Grandfather, Lu Shiqi will be your grandson-in-law

and the head of the Lu family.

You silly girl, already protecting him?

A grown girl is hard to keep.

Grandfather, eat some more.

Madam! Madam!

Madam, please save Danruo!

What happened?

Who did you just meet?

Who is your master? What's their connection to Lord Huai'en?

Won't talk, huh?

Shiqi, stop!

Shijiu.

Shiqi,

if Danruo wanted to harm us, I'd be dead long ago.

But if she has a clear conscience,

why meet someone late at night?

And that person was extremely cautious.

Even my scouts couldn't catch them.

I told you I didn't betray any of you.

If you don't believe me, then kill me.

General, Danruo never lies.

Please believe her.

Shijiu, get up.

You did nothing wrong. Why kneel?

For you,

not just kneeling,

I'd even die willingly.

Shijiu.

Shiqi, I don't need to hide it from you anymore.

Actually, we are all members of Bloom Lane.

Yunhe.

Bloom Lane is a group of vigilantes in the shadows.

I joined Bloom Lane at first to kill you and avenge the Lu family.

Then tell me.

Only you know Lu Xinnian's true identity.

How did Lord Huai'en find out?

What's the relation

between Bloom Lane and Lord Huai'en?

I did reveal Yunhe's identity to the Bloom Master.

But back then, our master was deceived and used by Lord Huai'en.

I wrote to tell her the truth.

She saw the light and actively exposed Lord Huai'en,

ensuring he got his just deserts.

What did you say tonight?

Danqing just came to tell me

she found evidence to exonerate the Lu family.

She asked us all to go back.

Lu Shiqi, you mistake kindness for malice.

For now, I also trust the Bloom Master.

Alright, since you both trust her,

I was overthinking it.

Release her.

Lu Shiqi, you were truly ruthless.

You're ungrateful. I should've never helped you.

Lu Shiqi,

before the truth is uncovered,

you really shouldn't have tortured Danruo.

Apologize.

Fine.

Miss Danruo, I apologize.

I don't accept it.

Apologize to Shijiu, too.

Apologize to Shijiu?

My whip was a chi away from you. I couldn't have hit you.

He rushed in asking for it, and I have to apologize?

Wait, so you're saying I asked for it?

That's exactly what you did.

Lady General,

take a rest.

Have some tea.

Shiqi,

you need to tell me more about military strategies in the future.

Sure.

Then you

will surely become a true lady general soon.

Then I'll protect you.

It's a deal.

So, Lady General, show me some affection now, won't you?

What are you saying?

Tell me, what are the key points to pay attention to in warfare?

Why is this city wall next to the military camp?

And look, this book says...

This military manual...

Stop talking.

Also, tell me what I need to focus on

and the thing to fear most.

What you need to focus on is following orders.

And the thing to fear most

is disobeying orders.

What?

My order right now is to stop talking.

Shijiu, today you trusted and protected me.

I will never let you down.

Danruo, I will always protect you.

So you must also take responsibility for me until the end, alright?

Alright, responsible until the end.
