Adjutant Wen,

are you married?

No.

Then do you have a fiancée?

No, I don't.

So,

you already have someone you like?

Let's just focus on getting the drawing board

with the Young Marshal and Madam.

They are walking very slowly.

What if

you hadn't gone?

It might have turned into a fight,

or maybe they would've feared our power,

and nothing would've happened.

Then why

did it have to be you?

It didn't have to be me.

Someone else

could've made the same choice I did.

Our ancestors endured so much hardship.

Hate and anger will never truly fade.

It's hard to ease all that.

The hard part's not the process

but the state of mind.

I want a peaceful and prosperous era

with refined elegance

and normal seasonal changes.

I want a pure and simple life

full of thoughts of you

without killing.

How about I get you something tasty later?

Come on, be careful.

One step at a time.

That's amazing.

I thought

I'd never again live this kind

of peaceful and happy life.

What's wrong?

Are you upset?

No.

I just think it's really rare.

And I selfishly hope

time could freeze today.

You know,

in my memory,

Shiyue was such a playful

and lively girl.

But now, she

has become depressed

Shiyao,

this is your distant uncle.

Do you still remember?

When you were little,

you even wet yourself on me.

Of course, I remember.

Now, he's a professor at Kyoto University.

You're flattering me.

Thanks, everyone,

for witnessing my grandson's wedding.

Tonight, please enjoy the wine.

Tomorrow, take the day to rest well.

The day after is our chosen lucky day.

Grandma, gentlemen,

we'll just...

You go ahead first.

Go on.

Enjoy the food and drinks.

Please, have some tea first.

Alright.

Here, please.

Why are you acting like a kid?

I've never liked it since childhood,

when all the grown-ups gathered.

I was actually the most rebellious one.

When I was little,

my whole family went to your place.

There were so many people back then.

Then I held a mooncake

alone in my arms.

Whose place?

Yours.

Say that again.

Whose place?

Ours.

It's pouring outside.

How are we getting home?

We just got here not long ago.

By order of Marshal Liu,

I'm here to ask

about the investigation into Liu De's death

by your soldiers.

How can you be sure it was my soldier?

Every army marks its weapons

to prevent losing them.

Take a good look at this gun.

Is it from your army?

On the battlefield,

it's normal for guns to be lost.

One gun alone isn't solid proof.

Besides, I just reached an agreement

with Marshal Liu for peace talks.

There's no need to attack an innocent man.

That may be true,

but it's already happened.

You owe me an answer today.

The Marshal said

that if there's no answer,

then the peace talks

will be called off.

Please tell Marshal Liu for me:

On this matter,

I will dig to the bottom.

I'll catch the culprit

and deliver them myself.

In three days.

Make it five.

Let's go.

Hold on.

I was just about to look for you.

I'm not going anywhere.

I want to hear

Did you kill him yourselves

and try to frame us for it?

What nonsense are you saying?

I'm saying

Don't you get it?

Calm down.

I just told you

I'd find the killer.

Put the gun down.
