having such a big musical family.

to be bringing all of this stuff up.

- His personality has changed so much.

He was amazing when we first went on a couple dates.

And now, all of the sudden, he's like transforming

into someone I don't even know.

And I told Stephanie, and I think he's really upset

that I said anything to anyone, which I think is weird.

- Right, I mean, it's so much simpler if you just

I've had a great relationship with her in the past.

energy, so she just understands and relates to me

I've figured out how to deal with Stephanie's

emotional landscape.

I feel like my sister and I have made some baby steps.

We can be in the same room together, there's no big fight.

So that's progress, and I feel very good about that.

- No, I can't go.

Vegas is like a very uncomfortable place for me.

Jason had such a bad gambling addiction, and so like--

We've just been through a lot in the last couple of years.

He gambled like hundreds of thousands of dollars.

We ended up selling our house,

'cause he gambled away so much money.

Yeah. It started to domino.

I found alcohol in the garage. I'll never forget.

I was like out running errands, and he basically sold the house

and everything in it without even telling me.

So, I get very nervous about relapse.

I'm nervous my husband's gonna drink.

Like that's what I'm scared about.

- There's nothing like a gambling addiction.

It's like terrifying.

I wish I could say I've never seen that before, but I have.

- So it's not really a great environment for me right now,

especially with this crew.

- I know, everybody drinks in this crew, I must admit.

- Yeah.

- So who is going to Vegas then?

- Well, I know Heidi and Spencer are not going,

'cause I talked to Heidi yesterday about it.

They're actually coming with Jason and I to a charity event.

- Plus, Spencer's in a huge fight with Brody.

- I think things are better between Spencer and I,

so I was excited to hang out with him in Vegas.

Seriously? Brody ruins everything.

Brody was like part of our family.

When good things would happen to him, he would call my dad.

And my dad would be like, "Good job, Brody,

like we're so proud of you."

But then like when everything went downhill for Spencer,

when he needed a friend more than ever,

Brody just wasn't there.

- And they're like brothers? - Yeah.

- That's really up.

- He's not a good friend.

- I was glad Brody wasn't there last night, personally.

He was at our house a lot, 'cause he didn't have a dad

that cared about him, and so Skip stepped up.

And that he would turn on our family

is just, to me, inexcusable.

- For a long time, Brody was like a brother to me,

so he was always with my family.

Brody's dad was not there for me,

didn't even call him on birthdays.

So, I mean, my dad was there like showing him how

to throw a baseball, teach him how to shoot hoops,

or like he was a family member for a while.

My mom saw him all the time,

he's around the house for dinners, trips.

He's seen a lot of the things Brody's done and, you know,

speaks her truth.

Heidi thinks I need to peace everything out,

and all my friends think I should just not--

- Cut him. - Yeah.

- I just feel like it doesn't have to come to that,

and you should be in a positive place, no matter what.

acting is my number-one priority in my life.

and I kissed her, I'd be like, "You guys, I kissed her,

and I kinda felt something."

- Ever since he got sober and is really focused on

relationships and just making everything right,

and he's just an inspiration.

He finds the best in every situation.

And, yeah, I just love that type of frequency.

I was asked to be on the board for Los Angeles Mission.

I've overcome a ton of my demons.

And I think that's why I'm so passionate

about inspiring people.

To show that you can totally transform your life and that you

can actually find a life that's worth living.

I relapsed eight months ago.

When I was younger, I didn't have much to lose.

Like there's so much to lose this time,

and I almost lost my marriage.

I almost was not there with my kid.

I spent probably $2 million, I mean, within gambling,

just bad business deals.

Uh, everything was gone.

- Are you gonna say a speech?

- Make sure I still had it.

I was so deep and so dark in this that I really felt like

there was no way out.

And that's where suicide starts to creep back in.

And thank God I have such a solid wife,

and somebody that really believes in me.

- Are you feeling nervous, are you ready?

- It is what it is.

- You want me to record it, like Snapchat it?

- How do you feel about not being in Vegas right now?

I can see there's like a lot more underlying stuff.

- It's actually great to be here for Jason and Ashley

and support real friends of ours

for something they're passionate about.

- The hardline is...when you move forward from the past

to work things out from the past, right?
