- And this is "Last Looks."

- Did you know that
infants cannot have water

or they will die?

- Yeah, I did know that.

- I did not know that.

- How did you find out?

Okay.

- [Tamar] In the ideation phase,

we were thinking of like high fashion,

avant-garde sort of look.

This season, even though
we did lean more heavy

with the prosthetics
than the previous season,

we also don't want every single
person to have prosthetics.

- Exactly.

Initially with the art dealer looks,

we had an artistic makeup

and it was really gonna be about the hair.

And we had a very structured
mullet, asymmetrical wig.

And then Alisha found
this amazing headpiece

that was incredible that we had to have.

And I think it's important
to know when to step back.

And with that costuming,
it was so beautiful

and just so well designed.

And so we just had the peekaboo pieces

just to give her something
to frame the face a bit.

It would put her in a wig cap.

And we had pinned one of
those clip on bang pieces

'cause we knew we'd never
see what was under that cap.

And we blocked out the eyebrows.

We paled out her skin a bit to give like

an eerie feel to her and a
little bit of a subtle lip.

And that's it. You have to
know when to find that balance.

- [Vic] Okay.
- Okay.

- [Vic] And so sort of-
- Vic, it's a pull.

- [Vic] It's a pull.
- You just have to pull me up.

- [Vic] Okay.
- Yes?

(upbeat funky music)

- Caitlin was one of the last
looks that we were ideating

and I believe we were looking for a look

that wasn't gonna be a
massive build for you

because at that point you had like 15,

(Alisha laughs)
14 other looks-

- Yeah.

- [Tamar] That you were working
on with very little time.

- [Alisha] I love avant-garde fashion

and I wanted it to be someone

who was not taking on the
spirit of Coco Chanel,

removing that last piece.

- There's too much

shit on me.
- [Alisha] Just when

you thought you were done.
- Fuck yeah.

(group laughs)

(funky music)
- [Alisha] And the headpiece,

I wanted it to be something

that no one in their right mind

will walk out of the house wearing.

It's someone who's so
confident about themselves-

- [Tamar] Totally.
- [Alisha] That they are

willing to walk out-
- There's extra

in every single way.
- Yes!

(Caitlin screams)

- [Vic] It's okay. It's okay.

It can't be hurting.

It's not really attached to your head,

sort of a spike.
- Ow.

- Is this coming from your head?

- Why would you ask someone
a question like that?

- [Alisha] That type of look,
it's a little "Zoolander."

- [Tamar] Exactly.

- [Alisha] It's a little like SNL.

It's-
- [Tamar] Yes.

And it's very nostalgic.
- Yes.

- Like I feel like it's
a very kind of '90s look.

- All of my great fashion
sense is established

from the '90s and cannot get out of there.

It's stuck.

- I did try and do this
show when I was in Hungary

and I-
- If you're hungry

then get some food.
- Okay.

No, the country though.

- I've taken improv comedy
once or twice in my life.

- [Vic] Did you?
- So that was a joke

that I tried, yes?

(funky music)

- Caitlin, I haven't
improvised with a lot,

but I'm such a fan of her work

and just really like is somebody

that gets into character
and doesn't blink.

Like, Caitlin kind of was gone from the-

- Right. (chuckling)
- I think was the most

method actor that we had this season-

- Absolutely.
- Where she kind of,

everyone's nodding in this room.

- [Caitlin] Ow.

(crew laughs)

What kind of purse is that?

Balenciaga?

Who wants this?

Where's my briefcase?

- [Crew Member] Method.
- I'm like-

- [Crew Member] Do you want one?

- Full method.

She said I had a briefcase.

(Caitlin hisses)

- [Vic] She was kind
of gone from the second

she stepped on set

and then at the end was
like, "Well, this was lovely.

It was so nice to meeting all of you."

(crew applauds and cheers)

- That was so fun!

- So obviously this whole
episode devolved into, like,

she's a secret Republican person,

which we were dying at this.

Obviously, those are
not her real politics.

After the ideation that
happens in this room,

David and I and Alex Fernie,
we head over to the props

and we're grabbing things

for like maybe the person
will wanna use this.

And then in this case she had said,

"Oh, maybe I'll be an artist who-"

- Oh, right, yeah.
- "Does like abstract things."

So we grabbed American flags

and we're like, maybe this is

some sort of statement on something.

Then when Wes, our PA brings it out,

Caitlin's improv choice with it was like,

"I love America."

- If there is one thing
I love on this planet,

it's Balenciaga
- Mhm.

- and this goddamn country.

(Vic laughs)
(Caitlin giggles)

- What worked so well about
this character is like,

that is such a specific person

that exists in the real world.

I think top to bottom,
like, pretty good satire

in terms of like a person
that's like incredibly wealthy

and sort of like doesn't live by the rules

that all of us have to.

Also, I think from like
the host perspective

of going like somebody that's
willing to like stand up

for their beliefs

until the second there's
something in it for them.

- I just want to say Vic
Michaelis is coming to my house

and being a guest in my home

and they do not care who I voted for.

- Okay, so we're gonna start
a, we're gonna do that-

- I think that this episode
is gonna be quite long

because we are gonna play
the entire National Anthem,

without cutting-
- [Vic] Perfect.

- From start to finish.

- I think that it'll get ripped

to play at a Double-A baseball game.

- [Tamar] Absolutely.
