[To Love]

- Who is it? - Open the door! It's Zhao Tinghui!

Open the door!

- Why isn't the door opening? - Xiao'ou!

Xiao'ou!

- Xiao'ou! - What's wrong?

There's a bomb on the roof. You must evacuate now.

Hurry! Open the door!

What is happening?

Why is this door locked?

It was working just fine this morning.

I don't have time to explain. Just open the door right now.

- It's not working - Is the door lock jammed?

It's not opening.

I can't open it.

Don't worry. Give me a minute.

Okay, okay

Why isn't the door opening?

After 2 hours,

if you don't bring Xiao Mei here safely,

We will all die here together.

Okay, we'll arrange it right now.

Hurry! Go!

Go there!

Check if there's still anyone back there!

Quick, hurry up and evacuate!

Zhao Tinghui, what is happening?

Yan Jin is being held hostage on the rooftop by Liu Wei.

There's also a bomb up there.

How can that be? He was just on the phone with me.

Do I have any reason to trick you?

Xiao Zhao! Hurry and think of a way to get us out.

Auntie, don't worry! I will get you all out.

Clear the way. Back up.

Contact the Lichuan detention center, send felon Xiao Meiren to Huaqiu Garden.

Stop talking nonsense! Right now. Immediately!

The detention center is still a ways away from here.

Let's all calm down.

Liu Wei,

were you the one who killed KK?

Yan Jin,

you're smart.

How can you ask such a dumb question?

You think I would personally kill someone as insignificant as KK?

That night New Year's Eve,

you purposely got into an argument with me to leave early.

You didn't have any pre-planned arrangements?

Even if I did, it would be to kill you!

I should have shot you way f*cking earlier.

It really wasn't you?

Up until now, do I have a reason to trick you?

Do you think I really lack carrying the burden of his death?

KK was clearly killed by you.

Chief Cheng, Ji Xiao'ou's family is stuck inside.

Yan Jin. Ji Xiao'ou's family has been locked inside.

Watching your woman about to die,

yet powerless to help, how does that feel?

Isn't there nothing you can't do, Yan Jin?

Now the only way to open the door

is to use a bomb to explode it open.

Old Cheng! Go save Ji Xiao'ou!

Don't worry about me!

Deputy Chief Cheng, I didn't say you could leave.

Liu Wei,

Don't worry, I am not going anywhere.

We're all in your hands. No one can leave.

But let me tell you something, Liu Wei.

It's not that easy to get a felon out from the detention center.

You have to give me more time.

I have to go convince my superior. And I have to prepare a car for you.

Don't be playing any tricks, Deputy Chief Cheng.

Don't worry, we won't.

- How is it? - How's Yan Jin?

He's fine, don't worry about it.

[Release Lever]

Liu Wei. Since you're being so honest now,

I have a question I've always wanted to ask you.

Your gang brother Duan Ruisheng, did you kill him?

Yes, I killed him.

So what?

Because of Xiao Meiren?

What has that got to do with you?

First Brother Duan, then me.

Tell me, how come Xiao Meiren never developed any feelings for you?

These 20 years, you gave anything and everything you had for Xiao Meiren.

But what about her? How does she treat you?

Just like a dog.

You giving it your all, is it really worth it for this kind of woman?

It's worth it.

Xiao Meiren knows what I have done for her.

But you can't do anything now.

Don't think I won't kill you right here.

Liu Wei, I have to tell you something.

This morning, Xiao Meiren has

already been executed by firing squad.

The target has been shot dead. Yan Jin is safe and sound.

There's not enough time, they won't be able to make it here.

- What's going on? - Send a toolbox up here. Hurry.

What? Are you crazy? You won't be able to deactivate it. Get down here!

This is a residential area, there's nowhere to even throw it.

The mess I caused, I should take responsibility for.

Send a toolbox up here. Hurry!

Deputy Chief Cheng, order Yan Jin to immediately halt explosive disposal.

Carry out evacuation.

Yes, Chief Lin. Yan Jin, the superior officer has issued a command

to immediately halt explosive disposal. Evacuate immediately!

There really is no time. People's lives are at stake. Hurry!

Chief Lin,

when Yan Jin was on the SWAT team, he had previously worked as a explosives disposal technician.

He's had successful experience with explosives disposal.

Right now the explosives disposal unit cannot make it.

Can we let him try?

How much longer will they be here?

At least 10 minutes.

- Okay. Let Yan Jin try. - Yes sir.

Zhao Tinghui! I'll leave Xiao'ou to you.

Head, there's not enough time for the fire department to get here with their extension ladders.

Here's the chainsaw.

Yan Jin! Hurry!

- How is it? Can you do it? - The way this bomb is set up

is not that complicated.

I'll give it a try. Maybe it'll work.

What's Xiao'ou's situation now?

Zhao Tinghui is coming up with something. Don't worry about it.

What are you staring out? Get out of here!

Stop talking. Focus on what you're doing.

Hurry! Get out!

Hurry! Take the stairs!

Yan Jin's still upstairs!

You have to trust him, nothing will happen to him! Hurry up and leave!

Hello, Xiao'ou?

Yan Jin, we are safely downstairs.

That's good. After I disarm this bomb

I will eat dinner with you tonight.

What? Why aren't you saying anything?

I hope our mom isn't mad again.

No.

She gave us her blessing to our marriage.

Really? Nice one, wife.

Now I can really

call you wife out loud in front of your mom.

Tell her after we get married, regardless of big or small things,

I'll always yield to you.

Wife, what do you like to eat the most?

Your cooking.

What is your favorite movie?

Roman Holiday.

And what's your favorite color?

White.

Explosive has been disarmed.

Who would've thought Liu Wei could pull something like this.

He must really love Xiao Meiren.

I was pretty cool just now wasn't I?

All right, stop acting. Just look at your hand trembling,

the fear is still lingering.

I haven't gotten married yet. I can't die.

Oh yeah, where's Zhao Tinghui? I need to thank him.

He's probably gone to go verify the whereabouts of Liu Wei on the night of New Years Eve.

If it wasn't Liu Wei who killed KK, then this case just became more complicated.

I don't get it. Besides Liu Wei,

who else wants to kill me that bad?

You just an escape the ghost door, don't overthink it.

No matter how complicated a case is, he will always solve it.

Alright I can't talk with you any longer. I have to go work some overtime.

Hey, Liu Wei is dead. Why aren't you resting?

Even if Liu Wei died we still need to look for the drug maker.

- Drug maker?- According to Xiao Meiren,

their recipe was stolen from a drug maker.

But he ran. I think he has something to do with that case from six years ago.

What clues do you have about this guy?

Your undercover job is over. Don't worry about things that don't concern you anymore.

Don't worry. I'll find them and solve the case.

You need to think about taking care of your wife.

Oh shoot. It's not Xiao'ou I have to worry about.

My mother-in-law just started to accept me and now this happened.

I have to go pay for my crimes.

Thank you. My son-in-law is pretty good.

He was on the SWAT force before. Was even a drug enforcement officer too.

His business is doing really well.

Yes, that's right.

He treats me and Xiao'ou so well.

Cooking, washing the dishes. Very mature.

Yes, yes. I'm super content.

They're telling me to come to eat dinner.

Goodbye.

Oh, an old classmate?

Sorry, I've been getting so many phone calls today.

That's okay. This time,

she's really getting married. We're deciding the date later.

I'll let you know, okay?

We must drink celebratory wedding wine.

Okay, okay, I won't ask. Alright.

Bye bye.

Come, come!

Mom, so now I know you are the cook in this family.

No wonder you didn't show your skills early on.

Anger is anger. You can call me "Mom" 100 times, it's still useless.

Mom, Yan Jin must be tired from working all afternoon.

At least let him eat something first before you lecture him.

We almost died, how can you talk about eating first?

Yan Jin, listen carefully

from now on,

you're not alone.

You have Xiao'ou. Also, your own kids.

Whatever you do, you have a responsibility to the family.

You have to start having the thoughts of having a safe family.

I don't care about whatever hero-seeking drive you have in your bones.

I don't want you participating in these kinds of surprising shows anymore.

I will have Xiao'ou

immediately find someone else.

I swear

I, Yan Jin, will not treat life as a joke from now on,

I will give it my call to make money,

focus on raise a family. Family as number one. Xiao'ou as number one.

Good.

Today is such an important day,

We should drink.

Wait a moment. I'll go get the wine.

Okay, good!

Do you recognize this person?

Yes, isn't this Liu Wei?

He ran.

Are you close with him?

We do proper business here. How could I be close to a drug trafficker?

He just comes here occasionally. I recognize him is all.

Last year, on the night of December 31, did he come here?

Officer,

I really don't want to offend Liu Wei.

Don't worry, he is already dead.

Dead?

Oh my gosh,

This bastard is always scaring me.

Wait who's going to pay what he owes me then?

Please answer my question.

New Year's Eve that night, did he come here?

He came! That night, we had an event.

When he came, he talked to me.

What time did he come? When did he leave?

He came around 10 PM.

And he was in his room for a very long time.

He left around noon the next day.

Do you still have the security footage from that day?

We don't! We only kept it for a month.

Then, is it possible for you to find the person who was with Liu Wei that night?

We have to check it out.

No problem!

You both can stay here. I will ask around.

From the servers that were investigated,

we can definitely prove that Liu Wei was at the club on the New Year's Eve.

There's no possibility that he killed Zhan Yu.

I didn't have high expectations for Liu Wei as our suspect in the first place.

If he was really the murderer,

how could he not have any evidence pointing to him?

So it's not Liu Wei and it's not Yan Jin.

Then, who else could it be?

This past half year, us searching high and low, was all a waste.

Right now we don't even have a direction for our investigation.

This little bump in the road has knocked you all over, is that right?

The evidence that we have right now, who does it point to?

But Yan Shen has already, through that experiment,

proved that Yan Jin isn't that janitor.

Yan Shen is a lawyer.

Her responsibility is to protect her client.

Not to find the real culprit.

Yan Shen found new evidence to protect Yan Jin.

But she didn't disprove all the other evidence we have.

So what you're saying is...Yan Jin is still our greatest suspect?

He never once left my list of suspects.

Regarding some emotional thoughts though, Boss,

I really admire what Yan Jin did yesterday.

It's kind of hard for me to think of him as the murderer.

In my eyes, whether he is the murderer or not,

is all based on the evidence.

Listen, increase efforts

to find the weapon used and the location of where the corpse was split.

This goal will always remain unchanged.

We also have to examine whether Yan Shen's experiment really is foolproof.

We'll have to get up from where we fell.

- Got it? - Yes!

We've been moving stuff all afternoon, my legs are shaking.

You've worked hard, my wife. Here, sit. I'll massage them for you.

You must be very tired.

Oh right, wife,

I have something I need to talk to you about.

I mean, picking this place to be our house after marriage,

mother-in-law really doesn't have anything against it?

Even if she does, it doesn't matter.

They just like to make everything complicated.

There has been a lot that's happened in this place.

How about this? I'll remodel this house,

seeing as a new marriage is a big deal. We'll have a new place, a new atmosphere.

There's no need. I think at most we could change some furniture and interior furnishing, that'll be fine.

Sure, I will listen to you. I'm gonna make dinner now.

I'm not eating. I'm on a diet.

You still have to eat. Even if you gain 200 kg,

you will still be the most beautiful in my heart.

Don't curse me.

Okay, stay here. Give me 10 minutes.

I'll prepare a meal for your diet.

Look around and think of how we can change this place up.

I think that the color of the curtains

and the sofa should be changed.

Everything else is fine.

That simple?

In my opinion, you don't need to change anything in this place.

Just give me half the closet and cupboard space

and I'll be ready to move in.

You said it, don't take it back. How come my wife is so easy to please?

Who is this person?

Is it your ex-girlfriend?

It is not.

Sun Jiayu's girlfriend. Shen Wuyue.

We all hang around together.

- Wuyue? That's a good name. Hey then- - Supervisor,

I'm hungry. Can I request for a meal?

Xiao'ou, your diet food is ready.

Madam, please eat.

Why are you not drinking it? This is really good for you.

Make you feel full and lots of fiber.

Try it.

What's wrong?

I am just a little tired. I can't finish it.

Do you want to go to the bedroom and rest?

I have to work early in the morning tomorrow. I'll just head back now.

I will take you.

It's okay. I will get a cab.

You really don't want me to take you?

It's okay. We can talk with WeChat later.

Okay. Get back safe.

- How is it? - Beautiful.

Here, Dad. Look. How does she look?

Looks good.

Stand here. Watch. Here, come on.

Yes. Okay. Now walk.

Do I need to give you some accompaniment?

Yes. Ready, set, and walk.

Look at your dad.

You're just leaving like that? Wait for me!

Old Ji! Come here, help me pick.

This one?

This one? This one!

Hi.

Hello! Hello!

How are you?

Aiyo!

Wow! How great!

Hello Uncle, Aunt.

Son, go ahead.

Mom, Dad.

I have a present.

That's great!

A small gesture.

Thank you, Mom. This here is proof of me entering the Ji family.

I have to accept it well.

Daughter-in-law.

Dad, Mom.

What about me?

This is our own family's restaurant.

All the food is already prepared. Brother, drink with me.

Come, come!

Come on.

Boss, time to eat.

How many days haven't you gone home?

Around 2 to 3 days.

Didn't I tell you? This case won't be solved so quickly.

You can't just stay in the office.

How are you going to find a girlfriend like this?

You do make sense.

The weather is nice today.

I should go out for a stroll.

How about this? I won't eat my box lunch.

You come eat with me.

I'm not at your level to eat lunch with you.

I still have a lot of work to do. Not to mention, I have to bring some subordinates around to investigate.

I'm giving you an opportunity and you won't take it?

- Get back to work then. - No, no.

My girlfriend found this place that has great hot pot.

Let's go to that place?

Sure, let's go.

I will treat you.

A steel tree blooming.

Keep talking and you can pay for the meal.

Let's go.

Let's go.

I've found a good date.

June 6. In the lunar calendar,

the 4th day of the 5th month. That's a good date.

It's a perfect match.

In-law, you are very thoughtful.

Then it's decided.

Someone finally set eyes on my brother.

How can you say it like that?

Then what are our mom and dad?

What's your sister-in-law then?

More wicked every day.

Dad. Mom. I raise this glass to you.

Thank you for having such a nice daughter.

From now on, I will take care of Xiao'ou.

- Okay. - Dad.

Please sit.

He can really talk.

As long as she doesn't bully you, that'll be good.

Who bullies who?

Dad, Mom, I am so happy today.

Because I finally got married to my love.

I believe that I am the luckiest girl alive.

Yan Jin and I will be happy together.

Good.

Xiao'ou, there's something that I have been wanting to tell you.

If it weren't for you, I don't know if Yan Jin will still live.

You gave him his life.

Mom, that has already passed.

I will always believe in Yan Jin.

That's right Mom, today is such a happy day.

Don't think about those unhappy things.

My brother and my sister-in-law went through so much to get to today.

From now on, there will only be happy days.

Yes. From now on, all happy days.

Come, drink!

Drink!

Sit down, Let's start eating.

Yes!

The good years are yet to come.

We should take care of ourselves.

Waiting for our grandchildren.

Mother-in-law, don't give the children any pressure.

Xiao'ou, having children is your decision.

If you want to have children, then do it.

Yan Jin and I love children.

We plan to give birth to a son and daughter after we get married.

Good!

Here.

This is for you.

This one is for you!

Thank you, Mom.

Here, you too.

Hey! Boss! Walk slower.

Walk slower.

You stuff yourself to death if you're not paying?

You don't find that embarrassing?

How did you just go for a stroll and find yourself back at Yan Jin's place?

Do you have some new clue?

Boss, the court has already checked the body transportation route.

We have also already tested it a lot of times.

There's no problem there.

I don't know why but

I still think that this body transportation route

is our solution.

We're already here, might as well make something out of it.

If Yan Jin was really the murderer,

he probably killed Zhan Yu in his home first.

Then carried him down this stairwell to the basement.

That's right.

How much do you weigh?

You aren't going to make me the corpse, are you?

Boss! Slow down.

My stomach is hurting.

Shut your mouth.

Do corpses talk?

- How about it?- Went over.

Boss, this is already the third time we've tried it.

Nowadays, cribs are so expensive.

You're engagement party has already been set.

I'm guessing the next thing to plan is the wedding.

How come you don't look happy?

- I didn't sleep well last night. Talked a lot this morning. - Didn't sleep well?

Because Yan Jin was loving on you all night so that you couldn't sleep?

What are you talking about? I'm staying at my place before I get married.

What year is this? Still living apart before you get married.

What are you thinking about?

Say it!

Who is that girl? Yan Jin's first love?

Yan Jin said before that this was Sun Jiayu's girlfriend.

But they clearly look like a couple in this picture.

Where did you find this picture?

That night when I was at his place, I found it in a book.

- Then, it's not that simple. - You also think that?

If Yan Jin confessed to his other ex-girlfriends,

but specifically hid this, then that means that

he was helping Sun Jiayu wear a green hat. (Wearing green hat means cheating)

Knowing Yan Jin's personality, that can't be true.

You don't get it?

Men can brag about having women.

But when it comes to talking about lovers of a bro,

they won't easily bring it up.

I can understand why he wouldn't talk about this.

But you shouldn't just let it go this easily.

Yan Jin is a catch.

Because he kept this picture, it probably means that he hasn't forgotten about that girl.

Look carefully,

in this age, the power of first love is very strong.

Don't let first love come back for seconds.

Yan Jin is not that type of person.

If you really believe him, you wouldn't tell me these things.

Come one. Let's go eat some dessert.

There isn't anything that a meal can't solve.

Sure can meet your enemy when you eat dessert.

What a disappointment.
